In fact, Super Smash Bros. Melee with the inclusion of Marth and Roy helped get the Fire Emblem series into the Western world. Prior to that, the Fire Emblem series was Japanese exclusive. Thank you, Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Awesome choice, and I know you wanted to get to one of the FE titles. This is a great way to start out because (even though I have yet to beat it) Path of Radiance is one of the "easier" FEs to cover, and people might get into that comfort zone if they haven't played FE.

Don't worry, you know very well people like me, PK, SM, are not elitist...especially. me. I fail at FE, which is why I'm good at Fire Emblem. ;D

Ah yes... Fire Emblem elitism. It's one of a kind, really, and I don't like it either. It seems that FE elitists are more stubborn than those of any other franchise, but you can find that in Pokemon and Smash Bros., too. Hopefully you don't encounter any of that here

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this LP. FE will be a great addition to your channel and it's good that you're doing SMW along with it so those who don't like long RPGs will still have something to look forward to. Good luck!

Shaow dragon is the title of the newest FE game. Shadow dragon also refers to the main boss of the game, Medeus.

Tiers don't mean your character can't win they just mean that It's a lot harder for you to beat the higher tier characters because they have more options when it comes to fighting.

I.E: Metaknight can defend against almost anything and he has ridiculous DI AND he can kill at decent percents with his UP-B and he can be very ledge campy.

While a Lower tier character like Ice climbers their only reliable way to kill someone good is with chaingrabs which can be stopped by killing Nana.

First of all, I know what tiers mean, and Im aware of those basic facts you listed. However, that doesn't change the fact that some people use tier knowledge just to make them sound smarter and more self-centered around their own egotistical mind-frame. Second of all, Fire Emblem elitism is a bit different, and almost worse. ThePastaKing (perhaps the best FE player I have ever known, and is far from elitist) and I have seen a lot of elitist crap, and Ill definitely share a bit during the LP.
