@sniperboy098 for heart of the swarm yes. they are very rarely used anyway. if you've ever watched pro tournaments they are almost never used. when they are used pro or from the public, they are usually in almost all cases easily delt with. basically they are not cost effective when you consider their very small percentage of benefitting you.

@RageSTi06 It sucks because carriers are vital for anybody that isn't in high level play. They have the highest dps spike of any unit for upgrades, and if supported and micro'd they are very effective.

@mitchsmitch yeah but you actually have to pay for the upgrades, which means you have to have been spending money on researching air upgrades you might not even be using for the whole game. in practise you'd have done more damage with the extra units unless your opponent was playing super-passively.

worked out how to do it, early game 2 gateway zealot rush(need 6-8) then put down double gas and expand, keep getting probes and put down 2 stargates, and get 4 void rays or some phoxias which ever u prefer , once stargate is down youll need to have fleet and 2 cores down. then get a 3rd base another port and carriers and ms, use them to destroy base and teleport back, if they dont gg put down 2 forge 15 gateways and tw and mass charging zealots, this has been proofen to work at least once:P
