Japanese have this very strange tendancy to make films laughable but then the next day you feel real scared to look around a wall lol, happened with one missed call when that girl died (on the tv show)

I don't like this movie One Missed Call American version cuz the ringtone not scary and the movie like not scary. The Japanese One Missed Call movie i like scary and the sound freaks me out and whenever the japanese ghost come out behind your back it make the movie more even scarier.

It's not usa's fault w/remakes, the directors of the japanese films want to remake most movies because of CGI, but in that they weaken the story line, you can not use CGI for a foundation of a movie. I love japanese horror, they all have a great story foundation, sometimes you should just leave well enough alone..

I expect it will be the same as when I saw both the American and Japanese versions of the Grudge. The American was okay, but the Japanese made me turn on a light that night...

I prefer American version of The Grudge, I thing it´s more scary. But Japanese version of Shooter is horrible I advice you to watch it, but American version is shit. so I don´t know who´s doing better horror films, America or Japan.

I really want to see this remake. I really don't like the ringtone they use in the American version though cuz its really annoying to me. But the ring tone is not a bad choice to use. Now for some of the scary parts eh.....not that bad. Some of the new scenes they put in there seemed pretty cool. I think this might be good to watch.

It's a little creepier, though, because the ringtone is all happy and "la-la-la-la~", and it's a harbinger of the disturbing events/visions happening before the death, and of the death itself. I think that its a lot creepier just because of its innocence...

Actually, I think the japanese ringtone has plenty of innocence. If you listen towards the end of the ringtone, anyway. And plus, the whole thing sounds like a creepy lullaby. Lullaby = Innocence, IMO.

Even if they do a different cell would ring with that same ring tone and have their name on it. Unless the American Version decides to omit that.

no u fucking god damn americans suck ass! i am a huge fan of this series and they totoally messed up the story. its not suppose to be a god damn japanese ghost lady. its suppose to be twins. well the one that died, but they messed that up. and in the first killing she was suppose to DROWN!also its not the same ringtone. I Have the REAL 1! and its not a red marble its a god damn cough drop! the director SUCKS for making the remake. they should have just left it!
