  • OK... WHERE IS THE STEP-BY-STEP. LINK ME TO THE STEP BY STEP PAGE. CANT FIND IT. HAVING SOME TROUBLE TRYING TO DO THIS. WISH SOMEONE WOULD JUST PUT STEP BY STEP UP HERE

  • The dildo rocks!

  • Don't need sensor bar? :D

  • i wanted 2 get glovepie and a blue tooth device 4 it so i could do it with mah wiimote but NOOOOO my parents said! >:(

  • i can map out all the buttons but how the hell do you make it waork like a mouse!?!?!?!?!?!!? plz reply

  • wats the code then

  • your a fucking genius :)

  • Can i have the script please = D

  • Do you need the SensorBar to move it?

  • @Mr8bitgamer No but you do need a stationary IR light source. I sell just such an item on ebay for just $8.75 if you include the shipping and handling. Search for: IR pen replacement, Wii Stationary light Whiteboard. Enjoy.

  • Dude, this video was released before the wii.

  • guys i have a problem, my bluetooth dongle dont recognize the infrared wiimote moviments.

    what i should do?

    heelp plx ;(

  • @soulviper17 Try turing your computer off and on, plugging and unplugging the dongle. Vista and Windows 7 have much better built in support for bluetooth so you might upgrade your operating system or buy a new Bluetooth dongle. There are big difference in quality and how long they stay connected. I have had good luck with an IO Gear bluetooth dongle.

  • thx man ^^

  • u need to get a infra red sensor bar, im in the same position. does anyone kno where i can get a sensor bar from?

  • how did he do it??

  • @henju0416 The answer to that quesiton is too long to fit into a YouTube response. Well maybe not... The Wii remote sends a report to the PC 200 times every second. If it detects an IR dot then the possition of that IR dot will be in the report. The report can be read and acted upon by a computer program. Awesome! 164 characters left.

  • Is that the sensor bar under the monitor? pretty interesting that you can see it that well with the CCD...

  • I wan to download this but i cant find it, where is it?

  • also, what is the siste to play that game?

  • thats so cool! i wish i could get my bluetooth to work. =(((

  • i did this but it was a little too sensitive. i could barely click the tiny links lol

  • WOO! IT WORKS ^^

  • How the hell you build a pc sensor bar?

    Tell me!!!! pleeeeeeease!

  • I use the sensor bar on the wii. Just register you wiimote on your PC THEN turn on the wii. this works for me. If this doesn't work, go on the wii into another channel like weather and register another wiimote on your wii as mote #1.

  • You dont you goto ebay and buy a battery powered wireless one... or use two candles spaced about a foot apart LOL

  • you can use anything that emits led lights on each side of your moniter like two candles or flashlights w/led's

  • Make sure you put that wrist strap on...

  • Have anyone here seen FutureWeapons.

They have a bombdisarming robot controlled by a xbox 360 controller

  • Clean your desk.

  • thank you.

  • Uh, no... onis and gtq838 are absolutely right. it's a Wii Remote, and a Nunchuk.

Not WiiMote, Wii-mote, Nunchuck, Numchuck... get it right. WiiMote was coined by the lazy media, not Nintendo.

You look stupid when you refuse to accept what is on the official packaging and what Nintendo themselves state: Wii Remote, Nunchuk.

What does it say is included with the game Wii Play? Google an image of the packaging.

That's right, a Wii Remote. NOT a WiiMote.

  • Does It Really Matter?

    xD

  • Just ask Nintendo's legal department, and they will say "yes." Because "WiiMote" is a prohibited term in their eyes. Working in the industry, I assure you it makes a lot of people's jobs harder when people call things by different terminology than they're supposed to. This leads to delays, and delays cost money. So yes, it definitely matters.

I'm sure you didn't think of it that way, but there's a reason why it bothers the people who know better. So now you know. =)

  • People calling it a WiiMote doesn't bother me much, but I see where you're coming from. I was one of the first people in my city to have an iPod touch, and once they became more popular, everyone started calling it an iTouch. Pissed me off....

  • Haha. At least you're able to be intelligent & understand my position.

Like, the people that argue "no, it's called a WiiMote" & insult other people are clearly just ignorant & refuse to accept what is correct. When they don't call it what it is, they look dumb. So if someone corrects them, they should just accept it! If they still wanna call it the incorrect term, fine, but why defend it so adamantly & say that's what it's called when it clearly isn't?!

The internet makes my head hurt. =(

  • its a toy....... just drop it and leave it behind you...

  • Would the same concept fall under an Xbox 360 controller, by calling it a 360 controller just because someones lazy same for playstation 3 controller abrreviate to PS3 controller? I see your point I mean why do you need to insult someone on it lol.

  • I have an ITOUCH too!!!

  • It is called a Wii Remote you dipshit

  • Um, No, it's not. Dipshit.

  • It is called a WiiMote

  • Uh, no... onis and gtq838 are absolutely right. it's a Wii Remote, and a Nunchuk.

Not WiiMote, Wii-mote, Nunchuck, Numchuck... get it right. WiiMote was coined by the lazy media, not Nintendo.

  • clearly its shortening it still means the same thing you fucking idiot.. clearly another case of pants-on-head-retardedness

  • So you're saying if I can't pronounce your name "ffskuntishmashu", I can just call you "kunt"? 'Cause that's the same thing if I shorten it, right?

Plain and simple, straight from Nintendo, "WiiMote" is a prohibited term. Ever see a game that used any term other than "Wii Remote"? It's a trademarked term; you cannot shorten it. Just like I can't shorten "Disneyland" to "DisLand".

The bottom line is that it can ONLY be called "Wii Remote". Ask Nintendo if you don't believe me. I'm done here.

  • HAHA! kunt got pwned :D

  • Well, I do obviously do so, you fucking idiot. :S

    Know your facts next time.

  • Um, No, it's not. Dipshit.

  • Thank you!

  • It is not wrong to call an object by two different names, following your logic it would be wrong to call the object a "Wii Remote" because it was already coined by a separate party.

  • wow thats cool

  • You are the man. I won't hate.

  • post a link to the program plz i am trying to hook up my wiimote

  • what software do you use? plz tell!

  • awesome, wish I could do that :)

  • Is this different than the GlovePIE drivers that can be used to control the Wiimote?

And since you said you figured out the IR camera - it uses the IR instead of accelerometers (like GlovePIE) to track the mouse?

I was also wondering if you've tested out pointing / navigating both ways (using accelerometers and IR) and seeing which way is easier to implement... since especially you said mice tracks the changes of movements (similar to that of the accelerometer pointer) rather than a pointer

  • Oh, "You're gay." was a reply to mariofan901.

This is pretty cool, actually. I wish I could get a bluetooth adapter :P

  • nice video funny xD

  • this is amazing!

and i used to play the missile game 3d a lot xD

    it's a nice game

  • Jesus christ... Clean ur room

  • So do you have to use an IR bar or not?

If yes, does the bar also have to be connected to the computer?

Also, where can I find the most reliable free software for these applications?

    (nice video, thank you)

  • You should use the ir bar, but its only a source of IR for the wiimote to track, so you can just use some IR LEDs wired up on top of your monitor.

  • I don't know if the IR bar has to be connected for this application but when it is needed... First connect the Wiimote to the computer then power on the wii so that it will supply power to the IR bar.

  • can you map keys for the nunchuck too?

  • Wait what? o.O

  • wouw can you please tell me the name of the program your using????????

  • i dont speak computer

  • Well, done you used the LED light, right?

  • Nice... are you demonstrationg with corel draw... thats the program i make shirts with. its so good

  • well u have a good voice not stupid children voices

  • hey where can i go to learn how to make my own wii sensor bar?

  • use 2 candles or 2 remote controls with their buttons pressed. a wii sensor bar is not a sensor bar as the remote just detects the relative spacing of the ir leds.

  • wii browser takes forever to type on(unless you have a compatible USB keyboard) , can't play flash or use Java Apps, and yeah...

  • why bother using your real computer when you can use your wii's internet. thsts still pretty neat though

  • I'm pretty sure an average PC has more Apps and things to do than just the internet. I'd like to play FPS and other non-wii games with it.

  • so cool....!!!

  • Where can I download the program he uses?

  • _He_ should see Dr. Phil???? Omg just listen to yourself...

  • Who cares about his sexuality? This is the Wii we're talking about.

  • Wasn't Slipknot talking about a wii too... =P

  • i've played that missile game on my Wii :)

  • pretty sqwiggle

  • I tried it! its pretty cool, i went and downloaded a wii curser pack so its like surfing the internet on my wii!

  • thats deffinately real

  • its not fake its real the wiimote is my mouse

  • why should i when im on youtube with my wii?

  • heres a good question or maybe i'm just a retard but how do you use the sensor bar while the Wii on as the Wii takes total control of the wiimote?

  • sync your wiimote with your pc before you turn your wii on tom.

  • u have a messy house

  • don't cry

  • wat was the game site?

  • Don't know, but that game is on albino black sheep under the wii games section

  • So if this is true, then how do you connect the sensor bar to the computer or how do get the wii remote to move the arrow without it?

  • you use a blue tooth adapter for pc's download emulation programs and vuala you got yourself wiimouse

  • Right. Can you also download it on emac?

  • did you not see the wii at 00:03?

  • Of course I saw the wii. What's that gotta do with my comment?

  • the sensor bar is just a small bar with some leds on it. the wiimote just catches the light.(you can play your wii also with two candles. it works!)

  • Cool. He-He. Whatever. Thanks for that. I just still don't get it.

  • no problem!

    cheers

  • most people use a candle... no joke.

  • true

  • lies lies lies he should be sued! every 1 of his videos ar lies some 1 sue him for that dolloar they waisted on the materials the used !!! seriously some 1 sue him

  • lol... use glove pie... the only problem is, you need a sencer bar, or two leds... (i think they are "IR" (infared) leds....

  • what bluetooth thing do u need?

  • Wow, good job.

  • The sensor bar isnt a sensor.. all it is is flashing LEDs that the remote can synch to. Everything that "senses" is inside the remote.

p.s. They make wireless sensor bars

  • they make wireless sensor bars? hmmm... i need one for ir mouse imput.... do you know how much they sell for? i could always put my wii sensor bar on my laptop screen and use it that way... lol...

  • what do u connect the sensor bar to and what bluetoth thing do u need?

  • f ing retard.

  • i LOVE THAT GAME@!!!!!

  • wer do u connect the sensor to??????????????

  • ??? say wha? u mean the sencer bar? that does nothing... all it dose is light up 10 ir leds... the wiimote has the sencers in it.... if your talking about bluetooth, then you need a bluetooth dongal or built in bluetooth...

  • Whoah... awesome. It works after all...

  • good now can u make a xbox wii mouse so i can play my games batter?

  • wow that would be a really good idea. imagine halo with a wii controller.

  • wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • you can play games like that on the internet channel so there is no point

  • sorry guy you have to use bluetooth so good luck

  • it doesnt work

  • That is the most dumbest comment i have ever witnessed on youtube.

  • wow...

  • Yes, because Microsoft and Mac are the only companies that makes mice. On top of that, the hardware we use are only made by Microsoft and Mac. Right? Yeah...... you deserve a gold star.

  • Nice! This would save me alot of money on the VC

  • thats werid ..

  • very nice for presentations!

  • in this vedeo i hear he is saying and a

  • Very nice, is there a program that i have to intall to make it work? And are you currently workign on the program? If so im looking forward to it.

  • glove pie

  • Its not a program it's a hacked IR reciever that tells the computer where ur pointing. READ THE DESCRIPTION! (sry)

  • Well actually its a program and the reciever. once again, sry.

  • The wiimote is the receiver, the "sensor" bar doesnt have any sensors, its just a bunch of IR leds together. It's just a program. That bar he either got from his wii, made it, bought it or whatever.

  • Very nice.

  • The next time I see someone say "probably someone using the mouse", I will scream my head off. It's just bluetooth wireless for god sakes. I even have the drivers on my PC. Quit being noobs.

  • Well, it's slightly more than standard bluetooth, since the Wiimote uses its own protocol on top of HID, but the drivers have been out there for a long time now. This video was just me being the first one to figure it out, but by now there are plenty of drivers around (GlovePie and company).

  • prob someone off to the side using the mouse

  • it shows him doing stuff while the mouse is shown...it works.

  • What script is used in this vid?

  • Inkscape r00lz!

  • now all you need is a wii pc emulator :D and were sorted

  • Too cool came via inkscape

  • grrr i dont have a wii

  • siccckkkk!

  • pretty sick man! love it!

  • Thanks for being a cool pioneer. The trend has swept up rapidly for wiimote PC use, and this was an excellent beginning.

  • Quite cool :)

    And, er.. Sensor Bar>Wiimote=IR, Wiimote>Wii/PC=Bluetooth?

    /me applies common sense

  • Very cool.

    Just imagine, Ps3 + keyboard + linux + wiimote = homebrew heaven

  • why ps3 in there? why not High end computer + keyboard + linux + wiimote + samuel l. jackson + moniter + leather chair + foot rest?

  • coz samuel l. jackson is tired (of this mother fing snakes and u know the rest) i didnt see any ps3 o.o

  • i only figured out how to use the tilt function how can i get the pointer function to work i would really like to know

  • why are so much morons here?

its bluetooth, you faggots. theres no magic behind it.

  • Actually it's infrared, you douche canoe.

  • umm its bluetooth to connect to the PC, and infrared for the cursor calculations.

  • What's with all the hating? Jesus, we're seeing a real widespread case of sand-in-vagina here.

I think this is really cool, I just got a Wii (And the lord said; It doth rock, fuck yeah.) and I'll have to try this soon.

  • what a waste of time, not only the amount of time you invested doing this shit, but me watching the first 30 seconds of it as well. fucking dorks. stfu

  • This is fake.

You are moving the mouse with your other hand faggot.

  • yea that explains why u see the mouse when hes zoomed out using the wii mote. dumbass.

  • Go to 00:57 seconds and stfu ok?

  • why are you such a cunt? really, why do you have to even speak? cunt.

  • FUCKING REPLY SETTINGS!!!! this was in response to someone's hatin' comment.... >_> *kicks youtube in the face*

  • So you are from the internet, but you are not retarded? How is this possible? I agree!

  • It isn't fake if you looked there was a IR Bar, which is being used as input. Even check the fucking internet.

  • you should join Nintendo and make new products!

  • i need the drivers

  • Release the source code... :)

  • cool, kinda funny, i have been playing missle game 3D lately, i would like to try that also when i get a wii

  • uh oh....a nerd

  • why did youtube make the comments all backwards? Last to first?? This is gay.

  • Wii would you do that, this is probably your first workout this year?
