Reck860 First I work for a safety net hospital which serves the uninsured and the poor and because of that our bottom line has been impacted, that is why we are not getting a raise. Second we are also a level 1 trauma center within a 100 mile radius so all trauma pts. end up at our hospital regardless of their ability to pay, even from other states.
