Actually, at one point in history the Arabs were taking people from the Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazahkistan area to use as soldiers. Keep in mind that those countries were not created yet but it was the region the Turks are from. The Arabs took them to Turkey splitting Europe from the Middle East and used these people as soldiers.
