  • good old grid mops .... thats how i did my time : ) ..this is art

  • nice video thank for posting it, i wish we had a person with your skills in my town i've been looking for some body with the tools and know how to shine some classic rims of mine but it looks like i'm going to just get the tools and do it my self..

    thanks for the tips.

  • Thank you sir, very informative and exactly what I needed to know before I get started on some engine "Jewelry"

  • Thanks mate, you clearly know your stuff.

Can I suggest you edit the video to show less actual buffing;)

    Cheers

    S

  • I was waiting for that part to catch on the big wheel and fly across the shop, LOL. Stick in the wall like a tomahawk, :)

  • red neck dude , no common sense , extra dirty nails , FORfuckingEVER

  • @synthpathetic

Yea, notice there are no bats flying around.

  • Love your polishing! Sounds like ytour compressor is having a hard time keeping up to your die grinder, prolly need somthing with 11-13 scfm and a big tank. Your poor compressor is prolly working pretty hard or full time keeping up with the grinder to keep i running at only about half it's rpm hehe. You always do great work. Cheers, IC.

  • not bad but try slowing your rpm down from 9to12ooo to about 1500 you'll get a deeper polish and you wont go through as many wheels..also try loading you wheel more often this will stop streaking.

  • i most into computers but this kind things are great men i fix me rims i also polish the aluminium in me car greatttt thanks you tube and all people that post videos

  • Hey bro check me out "Tony Metal Art" thanks..

  • gracias por todo desde argentina un abrazo

  • Well Humphrey Davy called it Aluminum, and it was him that first discovered it.

  • the tool sounds like bobcat goldthwait.

  • ENGLISHCustomPolish, yet he says "A-loo-min-um" ... well I'm not going to watch this video!

  • Try Demorol !

  • @JingleJoe You won't even watch because he pronounced it correctly? Good luck in life. You'll need it.

  • he pronounces it wrong.

  • @JingleJoe There are two spellings for the same word. One used by a country, another by the world.

  • and of thse two spellings one is right and one is wrong. you see on the periodic table it says aluminium, not aluminum, so shut the hell up and say aluminium right.

  • @JingleJoe How can I shut up AND say it? The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry periodic table includes both spellings. Besides, why should I care about your pronunciation issues, when you can't even be bothered to check your own spelling or use proper punctuation, you elitist hypocrit?

  • @JingleJoe

The metal was first called 'aluminum' but somehow us Brits call it 'Aluminium'. This guy calls it aluminum because about 99% of the world calls it that and he'd get far more viewers.

  • @wballe88 Most of the world call it Aluminium

and its the correct name, Aluminum is the lazy name

  • @fft2020

Even though I'm 21, I've lived in 4 countries of 3 continents - and I can say that most of the world call it Aluminum, not Aluminium. When I say 'aluminium' outside the UK people think it sounds stupid, and ask 'don't you mean aluminum?'. I know that over here we all think that anything spelled shorter or done easier is considered lazy - its not, its just more practical.

I say Aluminium in the UK (as people here sometimes go nuts if I say Aluminum), and Aluminum outside the UK.

  • @wballe88

Take a look at the periodic table, all elements which end if end in 'um' end if 'ium' (except aluminium in US). US spelling is the odd one out.

  • Do they they make that bit to fit the electric

    Dremel?

  • no, Demerol !

  • Every time I hear that untaped tool chuck hit the piece it makes me cringe. Please don't polish this way. Bring it out to 400 grit minimum then 500 by hand wet and you will be ready to go with emery then red rouge. use soft ventilated buffs and bobs, buff speed should not be too fast as it will just burn up. thats it ,any further and you will notice a reduction in shine. don't forget to seal. When it comes to aluminium you really can polish a turd, but it is just shiny turd.

  • Great, when you've finished that you can start on my shoes lol

  • It's funny how adamant he is about wearing a respirator yet he'll go bare-handed jamming his fingers into a high speed grinder! haha.

  • Of course he doesn't use gloves. Anyone who know's how to use rotating tools safely know that you never wear gloves. If they snag even a tiny bit they act like chinese finger traps and off come fingers.

  • A real man doesn't need gloves, but breathing shit in is not the best thing for ya.

  • well i dont wear gloves around machinery. it is one of the worst things u can do.

  • where the hell can i get that tool???

  • he forgotten to introduce ear pulg

  • well i guess he never liked my comment on this video as i said before thats not how to polish allumiium i no i been doing it for 25 years

  • youve doing it for 25 years and still cant spell it yea everyone's gonna listen to you

  • so that's not how you do it yet the aluminum, that's aluminum looks polished to me.

  • be nice this bloke can polish

  • Damned! Can't understand a word he's saying...

    Should have a voice-over.

  • something about turning and the leading edge....

  • I think he said "My rabbits are gritting for pumkins with pudding." Or something like that. Might be best to watch it without volume haha.

  • lmao. i said the same thing when i first saw the video xD

  • watched "locked stocked and two smoking barrels" and then watch this video. it will help you ease in to this thick accent.

  • maybe you should wear gloves as well? That shit getting into a cut might drop you dead too? Good instructional vid.

What would be best for 6111 alu alloy automotive panels?

  • Dude... the gang tatts on your hand...what gang you with? OLD SCHOOL.

  • A master at work!

  • Great job, but he needs to remove his mask when he speaks. Can't understand the mumbling sometimes.

  • @Beefliverpie I think thats how he normally talks !!!! lol.....seriously though its a good vid.

  • Great vid!!!, looks like you been doing this for years.
