  • I'm so glad people in this world have this kind of footage still. Id never get to see this again otherwise. Best years of my childhood were spent watching wrestling. These guys inspired me to want to workout and get in shape. I used to look up to every single one of them.

  • lol i enjoy the end, than warrior hit hogan by accident !! lol

  • Mr. Perfect had the unique ability of making crappy in-ring wrestlers like Hogan and Warrior look great performers. He already had the ability that wrestler like Kurt Angle have today, but in the the early 90's...

  • Mr.Perfect looks like he's been tango'd.

  • mr pefect pinned hulk hogan but refaree got Mr perfect hand up why?

  • it wasnt a fair fight. perfect and genius are way out matched, Mr perfect had more wrestling skill in his little finger then hogan and warrior have in their entire bodies

  • Rip

  • my fave part of this vid was warrior changing tights from orange to yellow.

  • @fightlies huh?

  • @akuma4u sorry. was referring to this vid: knsmBSaL3vY

  • where is the entrance?

  • Comment removed

  • The Genius was the original intellegent man way before Kurt Angle ever arrived in the WWE.

  • On local (Tampa) radio, Poffo shared the origin of the Genius gimmick. WWF was releasing him, but knew they needed heels. He kept his job by selling the idea, but they did no angle for the heel turn. To facilitate it, at a Boston house show to an indifferent crowd Poffo cut an exceptional promo/poem that disgraced Boston sports teams while refering to himself as intelllectually superior. Listless fans became livid. Hearing it may help appreciate it more, but his ensuing push speaks for itself.

  • Wich year was this?

  • @KonChul It was 1990 my friend :)

  • 5:30 the "butterfly" effect....

  • This video ends just when it was getting interesting...

  • Not a dull moment

  • haha back when the 49ers were favorites

  • ULTIMATE WARRIOR OWNSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Back when McMahon wasn't a filthy, horrible scumbag. At least as a character...

  • @BrooklynJackBlue i think he was born filthy

  • Mr. Perfect was one of the best as a kid you don't realize it but if it wasn't for guys like him Rude/Dibase/Savage wrestling would of been pretty boring. I think Hogan/Flair get way too much credit for wrestlings success

  • Man, Mr. Pefect could have had just as good a match with 3 broom sticks, every move he made was fucking gold!

  • @DeathAdder83 That's why he was Mr. PERFECT. No one could have played that character better than he did.

  • 8:52, he was like...what happened? Why did you get in my way, I thought it was the other tag team--and you know I get worked up in here!

  • @LuckySaturn he sure did

  • Why would Hogan deliver such a crappy legdrop

  • Perfect would have made a GREAT World Champion.

  • Jesse The Body was such a great commentator: "The Warrior saw his opening, he saw Hogan and he LEVELED him!" LOL He was such a shit disturber and it was great!!

  • I remember watching this match live. Oh man was it great!

No PPV could ever have been as good as these Saturday Nights Main Events.

  • Wow. Really fair match-up. Perfect and Genius? They would lose in a handicap match against either Hogan or Warrior.

For that matter, Bossman and Akeem, or even Andre the Giant would lose a handicap match against Warrior, since Ultimate Warrior never lost.

  • Now I have a new found appreciation for Mr. Perfects technical ability. Made Warrior and Hogan look good. RIP Mr. Perfect

  • @ananga73 By far one of the most under-rated Wrestlers of all-time. I dont think the guy ever held the belt either. Back in the day when the belt was more sacred. Now days you give it to anybody. CM Punk, Miz...lmao!!

  • Perfect losing to Hogan is like an F1 racer losing to a UPS truck

  • Great days. Two of the biggest faces in the company at the time fueding.

  • oh look at the genius, his back is hurting.... nice vince

  • why was the genius perfect's partner? lol. but perfect messed things up all by himself. love the old days of the wwf!

  • imagine cena selling like this...

  • this match would have been awesome if they would have replaced the Genius with his much more talented brother "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

  • 2:58 Greatest turnbuckle smash ever :D

  • instead of the genius should have been rick rude at the time

  • 3:17 is why Kurt Hennig was the best (perhaps ever) at making the other guy look good. Sick athlete. Extremely entertaining and insanely underrated...

  • Worst tag team ever in terms of in ring ability. Hogan and Warrior's move sets were punch, punch, body slam, finisher.

  • Is that Sean Hannity at the beginning?

  • @brandon34581

No thats Micheal Savage :P He does sounds like hannity and look like him too who knows prolly their related

  • No one could sell like Mr. Perfect..

  • Mr Perfect was the best entertainer. Even when he was getting man handled he still went above and beyond to make it look good for the fans. You don't see Hogan or Warrior sacrifice their bodies like Perfect!

  • lol@Perfect overselling.

  • "That's poetry in motion!" rofl

  • Little did Jesse know that the underdog Broncos were gonna lose 55-10..

  • Hogan tagged in from halfway down the ring!

  • this looked more like a handicap match to me since mr.perfect was running the whole match and the genius didn't lay a single offensive...

  • omg the good old days.

  • under dog broncos eh? Then they later went one to have a good streak while 49ers faded. Go figure.

  • LOL, I love Perfect overselling on Hogan. But, look what he was relegated to. I count at least 3 spots where he's thrown out of the ring to buy time. There's very little technical wrestling at all, and McMahon and Ventura even go out of their way to acknowledge and "explain" it. I understand the reality of the business, that the whole "Hogan / Warrior experience" is what put people in the seats, I just think it sucks that that's the way it had to be.

  • Wow, Hogan & Warrior teaming up in their prime. You don't see this anymore!

The whole match is just pure power.

  • Watching Perfect oversell Hogan's moves reminds me of Schawn Michael overselling Hogan in wrestlemania. Maybe this is what inspired Schawn as well :)

  • @asharpervez1000 michaels crazy-selling hogan was at summer slam, and it was awesome, lol

  • @supersteelchair Thanks for the correction. Still you have to wonder whether Schawn's performance was inspired by Mr. Perfect :)

  • @supersteelchair I thought it was funny. HBK proved to the world how much of a bitch he still is. Funny thing is many of the fans who watched don’t even think about him bouncing around as "over selling". Just looked like Hulk was kicking his ass.

  • Hulk Hogan raped me

  • This match is OTT, Perfect and Genius over sell making it TO OTT which is saying something

  • Mr Perefct was like British Bulldog... superb wrestlers who deserved so much more. RIP both those guys. i loved watching them as a kid. both were my faves.

  • Ventura bringing up the Broncos FTW!!!

  • Man, I ain't seen this in TWENTY YEARS! And I still remember most of the moves in the match. Esp. where Hogan caught The Genius with his knee and followed suit seconds later with a foot to the face to Mr. Perfect in midair. That, my fellow wrestling fans, was PURE chemistry!

Wrestling today, most of it I can't EVEN fathom or identify with it! Even some of the wrestlers we grew up watching are saying the exact same thing.

  • I LOVE TO SRR MR PERFECT DOWN

  • OTT from Perfect... ha ha ha.

  • I was too young to appreciate what Mr Perfect could do at the time, but reflecting twenty years later I realize just how good Kurt Henning was at selling the match.

The Ultimate Warrior on the other hand ...

  • @SamonMarquis Shocking, right? 20 years later and Perfect totally blows my mind. Check out the Saturday Night Main Event 20-Man Battle Royal he wins, every time he is on camera he shines.

  • Rest In Peace Mr. Perfect one of the best technical wrestlers ever. He could make anyone look good even the Ultimate Warrior who sucked ass.... I'm happy he got in the Hall of Fame...

  • Hogan and Warrior shouldve stayed together and gotten the tag team belts.. then between them, they wouldve had all the titles at the time!

  • yeah, this is sad. hogan is a douche, warrior cant wrestle... fucking vince... perfect is one of the best wrestlers of our time... him and DDP.

  • Jessy is hilarious... "I KNEW IT!!!" lol the best commentators where from back then

  • The Genius is Randy Savage's brother. (Poffo family) Talented wrestler with a silly gimmick

  • hogan and warrior destroyed that pair of wimps

  • funny how only the heels can sell the moves lol

  • @deluxedookie And Perfect was probably the best ever at selling too. He does like three flips every time someone hits him. It's hilarious. I love when his head's rammed into the corner, and he turns the other way and does a foward flip. That happens in every match of his I think.

  • i used to have this tape ....hulkamania forever

  • perfect and bret hart best technik wrestlers ever

  • This is probably Hogan and the Warriors prime right here

  • Comment removed

  • Your right. Looking back when I was a kid, we all hated him. Watching this now, you are more than right. Not one of the other guy could or would put himself on the line like he did in this match!

  • Perfect was so good in this business that he was used for his ability to carry matches and develop other wrestliers. His incredible technical ability was thrown to the way side. Even in the end of his career, they threw him to the dogs when bringing in Lex Luger. So sad.

  • @Velkar182 I always loved Curt. He was superior in technical wrestling to almost everybody and he never got a title run. Unbelievable! Great entrance music, solid mike skills, and superior in-ring ability!

  • "You know what that is McMahon? Thats poetry in motion." LOL

  • @LuckySaturn RIP Kurt Henning aka Mr Perfect great wrestler remember him wrestling in the AWA in his younger days .

  • Check my Profile - Amazing Video related to this

  • This match is a perfect example (no pun intended) of how to accentuate the positives and hide the weaknesses of wrestlers and still tell an effective story. Those were the days.

  • that small package attempt was the only athletic thing Hogan ever tried.

  • 3:18 :D wow, voll der übertreiber

  • are you serious? they are the same person

  • The Genius shuld been teamd up with his brother The Macho Man that could have been a great tag team.

  • @falmark187 They did in Memphis and in their dad's promotion ICW in Lexington,KY.

  • Ha...Hulk and Warrior in my opinion were the ULTIMATE TEAM!

  • oh man i remember this match! saturdays nights main event! Loved them shows!!

  • Perfect & Poffo shoulda been tag team champs!!!!!

  • that was teh best match i ever seen!!

  • Comment removed

  • great times great matches great wrestlers great commentry great atmosphere championships that were respected not tossed around too any body and no body's (cena) everything was awesome hate today's wrestling

  • All the wrestling is fake yesterday as now

  • @oldblackmagic Good entertainment my friend!!

  • The was "poetry in motion"!!

  • I don't know about no one better than curt. Ravishing rick rude? ted dibease? Yes he was good but better than dibease or rude? Close call.

  • Perfect is the Perfect seller. He sells all moves so perfect.

  • Lol Hogan sells a neck/back move by grabbing his throat

  • he's just making sure he doesnt choke on his pre-match pills.

  • Just look at that bump Hennig takes at 3:16

God, he was great. They just don't make them like him any more :(

  • That's why he was Mr. Perfect.

  • People don't understand Curt.....he was awesome as a heel......No one better.

RIP Curt....Thanks for the great memories.

  • @ants84 And the one at 7.07 is equally awesome

  • does anybody know how the commentary for saturday nights main events were done? was it done live or were the matches taped and then the commentary was dubbed over?

  • What a great match.. Off topic but is that guy in the beginning the dude from FOX news? Looks familiar.

  • Looks like Sean Hannity

  • Vince Mcmahon ruined Mr Perfects career, he's facing a couple of guys who couldnt hold a candle to his wrestling ability

  • ...though i used to be a big fan of the warrior...i must admit...mr.pefects technical skills were unrevaled ...those days!

McMahon and his functionaries ruined much more...don't want to mention the warrior again...but...just think about the other things happened...........

...i stopped watching wrestling...and i did not even red 'broken harts'...just a hint.......

  • Very true! Perfect is the best Wrestler in the ring! and wait for it! the second best is the Genius!! Warrior is the worst! but it was still all entertaining :) Perfect should have had the WWE championship belt at some point! just look at the match! Perfect is carrying the whole thing!

  • @Unwin85 ur ABSOLUTELY PRFECT MY FRND!!!i agree a lot

  • @Unwin85 LOL wow

  • l' incontro del secolo

  • Warrior out of breath after 12 seconds of work as usual.

  • hahhhaa

  • lol mr perfect made hogan and the warrior actually look good in thier matches. those guys in particular were just gimmick wrestlers who did like 3 things thru out thier whole careers. They need people like perfect good actual wrestlers to make them look good in the ring

  • @icecreamrulz420ya well it usually works like that in any industry. You have your stepping stones, you have your people who fly up the ranks and last you have your workhorse people who is making the bugger that flying up the rank look good.

  • @icecreamrulz420ya Comments like this are just stupid

  • @icecreamrulz420ya Watch Hogan in Japan.....

  • Perfect buildup.

The business just ain't what it used to be.

  • fucking ultimate warrior. that guy ruined my childhood.

By the way this is when WWE was fun and good. With its none stop yelling and tan and original names.

  • Hogan dropped the wrong leg.

  • Remember when Mr. Perfect distroyed Hogan's belt?

  • Yo i am tryin so hard to find sum1 that has the video for that

  • "How many belts do I have to destroy till you give me a title mach Hogan??" lol...

  • Hennig > Hogan+Warrior

  • Warrior threw the dickest clotheslines. He was one of the stiffest wrestlers ever, and it shows in all his matches

  • RIP Curt Hennig

  • back in these days, all you needed was a great tan and a huge body to get over. guys like perfect could bump all day and never even sniff the world title.

  • Curtis is bumping around like a maniac in the beginning. He makes Hogan and Warrior look like the strongest men in the world. I mean he is a goddamn move-selling-mashine

  • Perfect has to make hulk and warrior look good but so did every wrestler had to back then.

  • You were born in your mother's ass...fucking douchebag shitfaced retard...

  • lol

Genius leaves the ring after the 3count IMIDIATLY^^

  • Did anyone catch a match with Hogan in Japan?

It's all up to Vince, I'm sure now that he wished it was Hogan giving the belt to someone like Hennig than the Warrior who didn't have the passion for the biz.

  • Is this the match when Mr Perfect stole Hogan's belt and smashed it with a hammer?

  • No sir, but good guess that actually happened before this match. The belt smashing incident happened after the Genius/Hogan one on one bout, that Mr. Perfect interfered in...there will never be another Curt Hennig, it's a shame Vince McMahon never booked a Hogan-Perfect WWF Title match at a WM.

  • lol it was an accident, why was hogan so pissed off XD

  • The Ultimate Warrior and the Texas Tornado were lovers...Fact.

  • Certainly not, and you have some respect as tornado is no longer with us.....

    You Prick

  • Go fuck yourself.

  • Hogan was past his prime, he looks like a untrained fat red meatball, does he ever heard of skin cancer???

By the way it was time for awake relief.

Mr.Perfect should have become WWE Champion in the early 90's and not talentfree guys like Hogan or Warrior.

Good thing that Randy Savage and Bret Hart got a chance and that Warrior only got one Title reign.

  • Perfect and Poffo let this assholes look good...Mr.Perfect is one of the most underrated wrestler ever...He sells with ability and prodigy!!!

  • you gotta love the genius writing poetry in the corner

  • Love anything with Mr Perfect, and hogan getting his ass kicked. HOGAN IS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE BAG WHO EVER LIVED!

  • incredibly fake

  • Who told you that?

  • 5:18, cena, u a freaking scammer, this is original.

  • mr perfect and rick rude, the greatest "heels" ever, no matter what people say, they are the best, can not compare with the slag wrestling nowadays

  • I agree 100 percent.

  • As a kid I loved Hogan & the Warrior - now I'm older looking back it was the like of Perfect & Rick Rude who were the real athletes - they really "sold" it or made the baby faces look good!

  • Great job by Mr. Perfect at 7:04. He sold that big time.

  • Jessie: He's writing a poem while Mr.Perfect is being manhandled?!! LOL!!!

Sure miss Jessie Ventura and these days...

  • hogan and especially warrior had no business being in the ring with the greatness that was Mr. Perfect. 2 of the worst with 1 of the best

  • there is a mistake in description... it suppose to be Great Show not Great Tag Match...

  • hogan and warrior, the worst "wrestlers" ever

  • Great match!

  • ultimate warrior didn't even suffer any damage

  • its hard to be damaged when there is no one that actually hits you.

  • Shows how much you know about pro wrestling, newb.

  • LOL

  • does anybody have the footage where Mr. Perfect destroys hogan's belt???? love to see that

  • YouTube Hogan vs. The Genius, it happens after the match

  • just try to find it on tou tube stupid

  • I saw this match live.. it was in Chattanooga, TN. What's funny is that Hogan and Warrior made up afterwards and hugged and posed and all that.. and left as friends... But they didn't show it on TV because it went against the storyline.

I also got to see Mr. Perfect live when he returned at the Royal Rumble in 2002 in Atlanta.. a year later he was dead. He was one of the best..

  • how gay is The Genius, sweet match, i remember watching iy

  • Now I cant Wait Till The Perfect Dvd!!!...

  • It wasn't that "perfect". It had great footage but the production seemed rushed....they could've done so much more with it.
