  • Plishka's voice has such warmth and yet a wonderful spin on it as well. And his upper Fs and F#s were always super good for a bass. I love this cabaletta. Especially Lucia's interjections, "Nel ciel sara, si", and "Edgardo ingrato!". Two great voices.

  • What a wonderful performance from two consumate professionals. Just watch how magnififcently they judge the final passage of high notes together.

  • @vocalissimo1 I also love the signal understanding they have for the last note. WHen she is holding her high C she put her hand on his hand to let him know shes done.

  • Plishka's high F was always one of the best amongst the basses singing at the time. I was a great Lucia for Sutherland....especially given the fact that she was 56 at the time.
