It's brief. Obviously during the invasion, when it was topical, we had in-depth planted reporters...who were never near any fighting and kept miraculously being on camera during 'Chemical weapon strikes', or scares thereof.

Nowadays it's 'just' casualty reports, numbers and mutterings about inadequate armour on vehicles and IEDs. We're told to support our troops but most people don't know why they're out there in the first place and would rather they were just at home, safe.
