@Vendetto1988 The ROM on this phone at the time of filming booted up slow and lagged at first. Once everything loaded, it was blazing. This was one of the first early releases of CM7 at the time. :)

BTW - is cyanogen faster than GB? My Xperia Ray is taking the piss lately - takes about 1-2 seconds to load up contacts and messaging first time around!

@koko56 Absolutely. CM is based off of the latest Android build, as you may know. But CM is hands down faster than stock GB or FroYo.. So CM is based off of GB but with a crap load of tweaks. You won't be disappointed...You should flash it ASAP... When you use it, you'll understand :)

@weiwei19890607 Well the ROM above is MicroMod's version of Cm7. Which means he has his own features. Try flashing the ROM from the link I have. I'm positive you'll be more than pleased. You will have your animations and a bit more!

I have gotten the CM7 rom to run on my nexus one and everything but text messages and phone calls don't work. I can't receive messages and when someone calls my phone nothing happens unless I restart my phone then the messages or missed calls show up. I am on AT&T on a unlocked T-Mobile version of the nexus one. Any ideas?

@majdijr Absolutely. Performance is one of the main pros of Cyanogen Mod. You crank up that SetCPU and you'll be zipping through screens/menus/applications with that ever so snappy 1Ghz Snapdragon .. Battery life is a bit better, nothing crazy significant. Depends on your application use, live wallpaper, and talk-time. Final word.... GET IT... FLASH IT :). You won't be disappointed. Did you have to enable the home screen scrolling animations in the settings? I installed CM7 build 49.5 on my HTC Incredible and I don't have the animations nor do I see settings to enable them.
