Chris Adams bought me my first beer (actually, a pitcher just for me,) back in the mid 90's. He was obviously right in the middle of some really bad times, and as a childhood hero of mine, he struck me as exceptionally troubled. Poor guy. Shouldn't have stayed in Dallas for all those years.

I own this doco and it's quite good. I watched C.Adams during the mid-'80's when he and (the late) Gino Hernandez had their rivalry with the Von Erichs. WCCW became a major promotion based on the heat they drew off thir angle combined with the efforts of top performers such as Jimmy Garvin, Bruiser Brody, General Skandor Akbar, One Man Gang, Hollywood John Tatum, Ravishing Ric Rude, Al Perez, Al Madril, Brian Adias, Missing Link, Killer Tim Brooks, The Fantastics and The R&R Express.

Sorry it did not work that way nor does McMahon think that way I worked for the spectrum in philly for 27 years and knew Mcmahon and also his road agents Joe Scarpa and rene Goulet,it was not just brotish against british he wanted the tag team with a great deal of bagage to draw attention,and having Chris Adams would have drawn everyone that knew him from World Class,he was not always on drugs and until recently 90 percent of his fans knew nothing of it.

Why would he care about making a make shift tag team out of Chris Adams (who was a troubled soul) and William Regal (who didn't even come to the US til 1992)? Cause he wanted to see British vs British? If he really wanted to see a Brit face another Brit he would have had Davey vs Dynamite. Trust me, there would have been more money in that than the other scenario you had.

Chris was my stepfather and a truly phenomenal, brilliant, caring human being-the only man I ever called my dad. He did indeed have a taste for alcohol (the harder substances were well before his relationship with my mom) but he taught me more than anybody ever did and went above and beyond to prove that my brother and I were more than accessories to his and my mother's marriage. I say this not only in the wake of his death and he is greatly missed by many.

I have just found criss adams on u tube he was a friend of mine for a fiew years when we were young teenagers.we trained judo together for a bout five years.he was a very talented judo player a good friend and nothing like i am seeing on u tube.
