I think we should all approach Nickelback with an open mind. Personally, I enjoy all their CDs. All the way from Hesher and up to and including Dark Horse. Though I find some songs are just too hard rock-ish for me (things like this are an accuired taste). Judging from the way Nickelback are, they are becoming more ashamed of their old songs; they decided to discontinue Hesher, and even Curb is getting hard to find online. Nickelback must please the crowd, otherwise they will lose fans.

@TheWanderingSkeleton i dont think thats their thinking otherwise they wouldnt be discontinuing albums like that those albums are getting old and they have seen enough of the worlds eye. I think theyll go back to stuff like this i think they are just experimenting really.

lol Idiots... people were saying Nickelback should of kept making their oldshit since Silver Side Up. Nickelback is going to sing what they want, and whatever Chad feels like writing a song about. There is plenty of fans who love their music for what it is and not what it used to be. I love The State, but I love Dark Horse too and I wouldn't change either of them or any of their 6 Albums.

@Noxide99 why does having a different opinion regarding something entirely subjective make someone an idiot? I prefer their old stuff; it has a rawer rock 'n' roll sound, whereas I find their new stuff pop cheese ("look at this photograph, every time I do it makes me laugh" etc.). You like everything they've ever done. We have a difference of opinion. As far as I'm concerned that isn't a rational basis for determining whether or not either of us is an idiot, so why do you consider it to be?

@TwoTube2 It just gets a little old when you've been hearing people say the same crap for 10 years while Nickelback keeps getting bigger and bigger, hmm go back to Curb and fade into obscurity or work on new stuff? Every Nickelback CD has it's own theme and it's own unique sound. All the Right Reasons was very Pop-ish. To say that Dark Horse is Pop would be a laugh because it incorperates all the ideals that make Rock what it is, Sex, Drugs, and Rock N Roll.

@TwoTube2 According to Nickelback's Drummer Daniel the new album they are going to record after this years tour will go back to the sound of All The Right Reasons, "something more organic" he says. As a heads up you might want to steer clear of this one since it will definitely be pop-ish. I do agree with you though The Long Road and All The Right Reasons were a much softer Nickelback, Dark Horse brought out a Hard Rock sound but it was different from The State and Silver Side Up.
