Just one issue- As a young man, i called myself a Democrat- because they were "fair" to all... As I grew up a bit, I called myself a Republican, because I agreed with their platform, concerning taxes, gun rights, abortion, etc... I would currently define myself 100% Libertarian, but for one vexing issue- what about the rights of the unborn, vs. the rights of the mother- (or father, for that matter?) Any solid advice on this? I believe life begins at conception, based on Science, not Religion...
My view, her body is her property and the fetus is part of her body, Who owns the fetus, does the government?
I do believe abortion in most cases is wrong and both parents should take responsibility for their actions. But there are times when abortion should be the option, rape? medical or mental conditions?
It should be left to the individual to decide, if you don't like it you can try and change their mind, but it is wrong for anyone else to force them.
The saying vote for one out of two evil. When everything becomes corrupted Americans ask WHY! LOLO If you have not read 1984 than you can see what double speak.
Because . . . socialism must be evil . . . ?!!! Ahh , , , the Cold War is over . . . too many Americans have been brain washed into thinking socialism is evil . . . socialism is NOT communism . . . and BY THE WAY . . . Russia was NEVER communist!!!! It was a dictatorship poorly disguised in the clothes of communism.
Last election, I employed my ability to write in a candidate. I wrote in Ron Paul rather than vote for either crap candidate. I suppose I could have written in my dad or Michael Badnarik, too, the principle would have been the same.
Well.. Here he suggests to vote for libertarians because you can decide for yourself and you keep your money. And Ron Paul is a republican..
But Ron Paul says the governement should not run your life and he thinks we are being overtaxed.
So is Ron Paul not a true Republican or Michael Badnarik's definition of a Republican is a bit simplified regarding the majority of republicans' opinions ? Because Ron Paul do say he is a true republican.
Actually Ron Paul was a Libertarian for a time, he started and is again a Republican. Barry Goldwater was as close to being a Libertarian as you could be without actually being in the party. I also am a member of the Republican party and am closer to Goldwater than what passes as a Republican today. Mainly because I don't subscribe to the Libertarian plank, and they are not too clear on what that plank is from year to year.
MAAAN he would definately get my vote- i didn't even know that presidential candidates with such radical views even existed- i refuse to vote for barack nor mccain
There were a few. I was one of them in the 2008 election. Traveled 33 states and received ZERO state-wide and ZERO national news coverage.
The People have to talk to each other in order for a lesser-known candidate to win. People do tend to group themselves and they like to say they voted for the "winner", like it was a horse race.
If enough people talk to each other, they realize that they actually have enough groups size to win an election.
For such a dry subject, he does a GREAT job of keeping your attention and keeping you interested. Hell these videos are keeping my up late. And at 28 ive never voted for a president. Normally im not interested in politics at all, but these videos have opened my eyes. Very good stuff.

Such a tough issue.

That's something I don't really understand.

Ron Paul was a libertarian once.
Republicans many many years ago were far more like libertarian. And Ron Paul just says that they should go back to where they began.
As a libertarian he would have no chances of winning the election so he just runs as a republican (same for congress elections).

Marc Stevens has an even shorter political quiz:
"Should services be provided at the barrel of a gun?"
Answer, yes, you are a sociopath.
Answer, no, you are a reasonable being.
You can find it on you tube.

You are not alone. Shout it from the rooftops without shame!
If Patrick Henry were here today he might be saying "Give me Ron Paul or give me death".

Good thinking. You aren't the only one.
I voted (early) but I think as far as the federal election is concerned, I will likely not vote in it again. It's a waste of time.
I've joined the FreeStateProjectCom and we want to make REAL change. It's happening! ;)
