@SephMcLoud wrong we use AH-1Z (cobras) i am in the army first 1 infantry then 101st airborne now 75th ranger battalion the AH-1Z save me and my units ass multiple times and only United states army officers fly them. marines do not . marines fly the f16 tomcats f18 fighters and A10 tank busters right along the airforce. but the marines do not fly the AH-1z or AH-1 or the longbow those are all army.

@ladiezman914 i do not mean to call you out on a few facts, BTW congratulations for being a badass. i mean seriously, airborne AND ranger? nice. but the Marines do not fly the f 14, (16 is the falcon, a air force only jet) and have never had the A-10. they fly the 18, the harrier, and I am currently stationed On iwakuni Air base and i see Cobra on the decks of MEU's all the time. the Long Bow is actually the Apache, a bad ass heli in and of its self. any way, glad you're still in one piece man

Hell can you imagine the fun we'd have with that thing if we DID have it? the Cobra is used because the Marines have the lowest budget of the military (Shit aint broke, shit aint ours) and the Apache, same as the Black Hawk, are not used on ships because it has to low and wide of rotors, to much of a chance for them to strike the deck as the ship lists in the waves. and thankyou, same

They said the people were extremley friendly.
