Anyway wads with being malay cant be in airforce. True enough that there are not many malay inside but that doesnt mean we are not qualified ( i am malay btw) . You hav to look into the interest of an individual too. Not all want to be a RSAF pilot. Some want to be a musician, soccer player,engineer and so on.

To get a postion being a pilot is nt as easy and straightforward. It's nt the kind of job like KFC where u can go fr interview and report fr work e next dat. U first hav to pass the stricter medical test. Even being PES A doesnt mean u will pass it. I hav some of my army friends who applied but half of them didnt pass the medical stage. And still got interviews and selection trainings.

Werid, so the malay trainee pilots are recruited for show? I rather think the opposite, if the RSAF can find a malay that can qualify and pass the tests to become a fighter pilot, i think they would probably jump at the chance. Good way to showcase that they have malay pilots too. A little common sense should tell you that.

To get a postion being a pilot is nt as easy and straightforward. It's nt the kind of job like KFC where u can go fr interview and report fr work e next dat. U first hav to pass the stricter medical test. Even being PES A doesnt mean u will pass it. I hav some of my army friends who applied but half of them didnt pass the medical stage. And still got interviews and selection trainings.

I rather think the opposite, if the RSAF can find a malay that can qualify and pass the tests to become a fighter pilot, i think they would probably jump at the chance. Good way to showcase that they have malay pilots too. A little common sense should tell you that.

@Rockerheads It's not only you, everyone's got to work real hard. Besides we've no natural resources to fall back on and we depend on each other - human resources. We don't have a motherland. National service is good in that it binds all our races together. So, if you've got the passion you'll succeed in what you wanna be, go for it and succeed, not necessarily money-wise.
