Sometimes, you can see something similar on a woman, but it's much less prominent than on a typical man. So yes, both men and women do have them.

The laryngeal prominence is usually more prominent in adult males because the thyroid cartilage elongates during puberty, protruding out the front of the neck more noticeably....
