Got the same exact one. It's really cool and all, but after reading some of the reviews online, it seems like the main problem with these headphones are that they break! Most people claim they break no matter how careful you are with them.

I've owned the studio for a little more than year now. But yeah I don't ever wear the studio out in public just because it does have a hint of arrogance to it. I got some cheap ass skull candy ear buds for workout. the built of these headsphone are cheap, plastic c'mon dre?

i think the solos are worth it for u, a great substitute for the studios they still sound amazing, without batteries, as for ur girlfriend, they are worth it, for the heartbeats its kinda harder to say if they fit well, like when i had them, they didnt fit me too well but thats just my ears, they could fit perfectly for ur g friend hope that answers ur question
