If you can, go jogging for 20mins 5 times a week, and do these exercises on the same days and you'll start seeing results fairly quickly. Just keep it up for 4 - 6 weeks if you really want to get a great set of abs (ofcourse remember to work the top of your abdomen also)

Are there any versions of these videos without the "motivational" photos? They're kind of yucky. Not that the people in them aren't attractive - They're just a little less dressed then some people prefer to see. (Myself included)

you may not realize it but your lower abs might be stronger than your upper abs, and that is why you feel it there first. Sometimes when I do bench press for example, I can feel it in my forearms. Bench press is specifically for your pecs and slightly for your triceps, so it's unusual I would feel it burn in my forearms. i've just come to the conclusions it's because my forearms are a lot weaker than I thought.
first u need to burn your fat with riding for example a bike so just condition training .. cause without fat u see your muscles at the stomach... than do that workouts ... with that training shown here you will lose no fat cause you just build up muscles

Heey man, you can't burn fat with ab exercises. With those you burn less calories and fat then there is in an apple. Start doing cardio like jump roping and running to lose the fat which covers your sixpack.

Actually, I find the full range of motion of the legs (from near floor to vertical) is most beneficial to overall development. The find the extra stability gained helps squats, deads, and benches. Also, if your back starts to strain due to arching, you can prevent it by flexing your lower abs so it rotates your hips frontwards, in order to reduce the arch. That extra flexing during each rep helps works the abs a ton more. I lower my legs until about an inch or two off the floor.
Why don't you want your back to arch? Solely because this is just for lower abs and you don't want to target any other muscle or does it actually harm you?
i know i have the same problem what you can do is is avoid doing flat laying excersizes and do hanging type leg lifts or you can place your hands on either sides of your tailbone palm down to distribute your weight. you can also use a thick mat or firm matress if you havent already

Howdy- I have a question about stretching. My kettlebell teacher has us stretch b4 class, and I've heard from a few sources that isn't a good idea. They said stretching makes the joints too loose, and might lead to injury because you might go too far out of a good range of motion under load. Warming up is fine before, but not stretching. Better to stretch afterwards.That seems to make sense to me, but she's the one ripped to shreds at age 53, so what the hell do I know? What's your opinion sir?
Maybe she's ripped to shreds BECAUSE she stretched before she warms-up. :-) That's what stretching does if you don't warm up first... think about pulling on cold silly putty... same thing.

Well I def. agree that you shouldnt stretch before class becuase stretching a cold muscle IS like stretching cold silly putty. However if she warms you up and then stretches you out, thats different. Becuase by that time, your muscles have had a chance to warm up and become a little bit more pliable (sp?) But regardless, stretching isnt that necessary at the beginning of a class, but def. necessary afterwards to prevent injury and increase flexibility.
@chaplinfan48 you aren't suypposed to static stretch (reach and hold) before physical activity. however, moving your muscles and joints around beforehand is good for you because it warms up the muscles and lubricates joints.

HOW TO LOSE FAT

Howdy- I have a question about stretching. My kettlebell teacher has us stretch b4 class, and I've heard from a few sources that isn't a good idea. They said stretching makes the joints too loose, and might lead to injury because you might go too far out of a good range of motion under load. Warming up is fine before, but not stretching. Better to stretch afterwards.That seems to make sense to me, but she's the one ripped to shreds at age 53, so what the hell do I know? What's your opinion sir?

Maybe she's ripped to shreds BECAUSE she stretched before she warms-up. :-) That's what stretching does if you don't warm up first... think about pulling on cold silly putty... same thing.

Well I def. agree that you shouldnt stretch before class becuase stretching a cold muscle IS like stretching cold silly putty. However if she warms you up and then stretches you out, thats different. Becuase by that time, your muscles have had a chance to warm up and become a little bit more pliable (sp?) But regardless, stretching isnt that necessary at the beginning of a class, but def. necessary afterwards to prevent injury and increase flexibility.

@chaplinfan48 you aren't suypposed to static stretch (reach and hold) before physical activity. however, moving your muscles and joints around beforehand is good for you because it warms up the muscles and lubricates joints.

yeah the pictures may be a little risque, but nothing compared to the nastiness in rap videos all kids seem to be watching. this is a risque that motivates!!! =)

hi.ive tried your 1-5 excersises at 25+ reps correctly and they anrnt straining or effecting my abs.i do weights and ab excersises every other day.i also have a question. please could you give me advice or tips on how to lose the very small amount of fat that is possible to pinch from my belly button area and the skin around my nipple and the nipple itself, if possible. (ive just turned 15 by the way ,if that helps)

The best thing you can do is takin a Guerilla Kardio traing which is very effecient to loose belly fat.
Guerilla kardio is like 8-12 min. I recommend 8 min since your new.
20 seconds maxium running capaciti
10-20 seconds normal jogging
20 seconds maxium running capaciti
10-20 seconds normal jogging
and so on until it gets 8 minutes.

Abs are made in the kitchen. Lose some fat. That's how.
Toning doesn't show unless you're very lean already because there's fat covering your abs.

I have tried all levels, but i dont seem to be hitting my abs at all. I have been performing up to 50 in a tow from level 1 to 5 maybe i'm not doing them correctly? I follow all instructions though

Either you are in great shape or you are doing them wrong. :-) I need to use machines that provide additional resistance... you may as well.
If you'd like to film your form and post it on YouTube, I'd be happy to tell you if I can "tweak" your form at all.

Haha, well i like to think im in great shape :P I find additional resistance is very useful aswell. I'd like to ask a couple of questions on a view aspects of your many movies if you have time :)

when someone thinks the video is inappropriate, they flag it. At the top it says that the video is not suitable for minors. I think your videos are great...keep making more.
