i think this house and the rose red house are both based a little off the Thornewood Castle, and apparently this movie is a cheesy remake of rose red if you havent seen rosed red you should go watch it

@Carawayward Actually this is a remake of a classic (but yes cheesy) 1963 movie of the same name. Rose Red is just a Story by Stephen King. but i think you are right I think both stories are about the same house. Both Rose Red and the original The Haunting are Def. worth a watch though!
