  • Knew i recognized the kid in the stovetop commercial, he was Nick Szalinski in Honey I Shrunk The Kids!

  • "If you don't stop listening to that Mr. Keating, he'll be teaching you how to walk with my foot in your ass." Kurtwood Smith before he was Red Forman.

  • The milk commercial looks like they ripped off "Risky Business"

  • I remember the Boboli guy. I don't remember him being so thin though. I wonder if the "Milk, It does a body good" promo was the inspiration for "... got Milk?"

  • I wanna have a milk party!!

  • Ain't no party like a milk party!

  • This station reminds me of visiting my grandma up north when I was a kid. I remember those dogs :)

  • That commercial for Double Dragon II is WIN

  • dead poets society was soo goood

  • Takes me back,, like the "tee-vee twenteeeeeeeeeeeeee" theme more than the new bland theme!!!!

  • Apparently Chuck Norris' brother works at a San Fransisco Home Depot.

Check out the second HOME DEPOT ad...see for yourself :)

  • I don't trust those "Good Guys". They're laying it on way too thick. Go in for a new 16 inch colour TV, leave without a kidney, I think.

  • Double Dragon II WAS awesome!

  • i think KOFY (cool gold 1050) was one of those short-lived oldies stations, sort of like how 93.3 KYA-FM was about a 4-5 year run. but it was popular in the 80's, but i think got beat out in the ratings by oldies 99.7 and 610 KFRC.

  • lol i think stove top stuffing was realy good back in those days

  • I think that's Will Ferrell in Iron Sword NES. It looks just like him, and sounds just like him.

  • @ASoldiersPinkRibbon His first credited screen appearance wasn't until 1995, and I haven't heard of him appearing in ANY other commercials from this era.

  • @ASoldiersPinkRibbon it really doesn't. That couldn't look any less like him.

  • Wow, George Zimmer's voice sure got raspier over the years.

  • LOL! Dispute on 'skimpy' cheerleading outfits. You'll never hear that complaint these days.

  • Wow, I totally forgot about some of these commercials. What a great blast from the past. I remember Boboli was totally new back in the day! Great post bud!

  • Who's he narrator who did The Good Guys?

  • Lmfao the milk commercial is so un true.

  • you hush up, my tiered skirt over spandex biker shorts and neon green shirt with that "splatter puff paint" deisgn was AWESOME with my crimped hair done up in a half pony tail! lol......

  • I hate that George Zimmer guy it pisses me off when he says, "I guarantee it."

  • i used to watch Batman

  • 2:40 that kid's on home improvement.

  • No.

  • Wrong, that's R.J. Williams from

    Wake, Rattle & Roll and

Disney's TaleSpin my old buddie that I met when we were kids in 1990-1993.

  • My mom and I went to the flea market last weekend looking for some games for my Sega Genesis (yes, I still use a SG!) and I saw Fabio on the box art for Iron Sword... I face palmed so hard because I had forgotten how popular he was back then... I seem to be one of the few girls who hates is ass. XD

  • I grew up in the 1990s' and I remember watching both Wake, Rattle & Roll and TaleSpin (that aired later in the fall with The Disney Afternoon airing on the same time too.) also I met R.J. Williams (the kid at 2:13) at 7-11 while getting a Slurpee and then heading to the local arcade game area after that with my teenage uncle and boy we had so much together since 1990-1993. "signs" It really brings back the old childhood memories since we are now all grown up now.
  • oh!!!!

    I forgot about tailspin!!

  • Man, I was born in 1990 and I barely remember these.

  • i was born in 95' so i didnt really get to expierence the 90's

  • It's funny how looking back at the 80's, we may have thought, "what were people thinking with those styles." Then you look back to the 90's and realize that you think close to the exactly same thing (AND WE GREW UP IN IT LOOKING LIKE THAT!).

  • Frightening, isn't it? xD

  • no cholesterol, no cholesterol, no cholesterol, no cholesterol

  • What's this? Commericials that had no annoying background music? What happened to that? Now they put on a annoying jingle in the background. ARGH! I also found the UC Barkeley commercial weird in today's world because it asked us to write to an adress instead of checking out a website.

Anyways, thnx for posting this. It was fun watching it for nostalgia purposes. :D
