HOLY CRAP, AT 1:20, THE SINGER IS WEARING THE PLAID, PAJAMA BOTTOMS, THAT MATCH THE PLAID TOP THE BASS PLAYER HAS ON. THAT'S USUALLY HOW I WAKE UP W/MY GIRLFRIEND. ME IN THE BOTTOMS, HER IN THE TOP!!! WHAT'S THE STORY HERE???
Good tunes. I used to listen to their debut cassette all of the time in school and more then once did some asshole prep grab my walkmen and toss the tape down flights of stairs. I earned lots of bruises and detentions listening to your tunes Trixter but ever cut was worth it!
I think I still have their performance on an old vhs tape from their '91 Mtv summer jam somewhere if so I'll post it up.
I don't know what crap browneyedgirl178 is listening to but as far as I'm concerned Trixter as well as Slaughter and Firehouse are some of the best bands to come out of the 80's metal scene. I had all 3 of there first albums on tape and listened to them over 200 times and still would today if I had a tape player. Maybe you should stick to listening to Justin Beber or GaGa music.
I have totally forgotten this song.. and this band, I'm only 30 years old and I have a 5 year old daughter, and she loves listening to "daddy's music" because "it just rocks"
This song dedicated to the only woman that could ever put up with me! And I loved her so much but she's disappeared in time!! Haven't heard from her since like 1998 after I left to go into the ARMY!! Mandy Schultz from Richmond, KY!! Still love you even after all this time! sappy I know and maybe I'm a hopeless romantic but she was the one and haven't been able to find a woman since that made me feel like she did!! I Love You Mandy!!!
Don't remember this band..but the song rings a bell...probably because of all the partying we did then. graduated HS in 85..and it was non stop at the bar, corner, and the woods....miss it alot these days.
wow, instant flashback! I absolutely loved Trixter, still do. I could listen to their music over and over again. It always brings a smile to my face at all the memories that come flooding back :)
one of my most fav hair bands in the 80's Loved them so much even named a dog after them when I was in junior high or high school. Miss these days sometimes. Listening to this music brings back so many memories its crazy. I miss this kind of music wish there were still bands like it
OMG...I totally forgot the Rock 'n Roll Heaven (Toronto) shirt in this vid! Loved that club :) Wow, I haven't seen this video in years. It was fun to watch it again and spend a little time remembering the 80's rock scene.
I knew this wasn't the song I was thinking about. The song was the Tubes-She's a Beauty. Hated that pop crap in the 80's but this Trixster crap is utter crap even years later. At least the cheesy pop stuff had some redeeming qualities, the lame cheese hair metal sucked then and now. Real metal was and is better than this shit fest power ballad pussy crap
@dell4bq it's funny you say that being Metallica IN THE 80S and Pantera along with many other REAL METAL bands had these power ballads you call pussy crap- so go do your history.
@dell4bq Lets see I just saw Motley Crue, Poison and the New York Dolls (all from the 80's) Kix, Def Leppard (with Heart), and going to see Bon Jovi next month..... all 80's bands back again..... where is YOUR music at?????
@yankeeboy1046 let's see until Ronnie James Dio passed away Heaven and Hell was going strong. Sounding better than the 80s. Real music and without the cotton candy bullcrap. Let's see Judas Priest still out there making the big bucks selling out arena tours. The hair metal crap killed it for the real metal bands back then. Hearing this Trixster crap makes me cringe and back then I was playing guitar in a band myself and was laughing at this crap.
@dell4bq Don't you be dissing Trixter. They may not have been huge in the talent department, but they sure have some catchy tunes and is way better than the lame music of today. What do you consider to be "real metal??
@dell4bq its funny you say that hearing this trixter crap makes u cringe yet you are listening to it long enough to post such a lengthy comment. Seems to me you like the music and just dont want anyone to know about it. HMMMMMMMMM!
@yankeeboy1046 also if you're a dude that likes this you might wonder if you have a vagina instead of a pecker. Guys that listen to chick ballads are more than likely poofters. You should check into that and maybe come out of the closet.
@yankeeboy1046 I just saw Crue, Poison, and Dolls (Dolls suck by the way) in Indy. I've been to Rock on the Range multiple times. I'm going to Uproar Fest, Rage on the River in Ft Wayne, Indiana. I've seen everything from Zombie & 5FDP to Eagles to KISS to Alice Cooper to Nugent to Crue to Firehouse & Slaughter. You may not have liked Trixter and you are free to click elsewhere. What's your point here?
HEy !!! HAir METAL BANDS BACK!!! not in USA , please take a look to swedish new hair bands. CRASHDIET, RECKLESS LOVE, VAINS OF JEENA , CRAZY LIXX , LIPPSTIX N BULLETS ETC...
Wish these hairbands would come back??? They HAVE come back. Their music is played all over now again........ and alot of these bands are on tour again. Not to worry folks......... awesome Rock is back!!!!!!!!!! :)
btw the album this song is on came out in 1990!!!! I loved this band amonst many others!!! The men in these bands ...sooo hotttt!!!!!!!! The music was awesome also :)
Y'all dont even know, I clicked on this and damn near cried, not cause of the song or video. Because of the instant memories it drew. My room and all its posters, me and my friends, it all came back. I literraly havent heard this in almost twenty years, and I went back
Finally.... REAL MUSIC....long live the 80s!.....more than 20yrs old and it is stuff better than the biggest hit last week.........btw what was the biggest hit last week? :P
Their wardrobe is like a hybrid mix of grunge and hair metal. Maybe they could see the future? Hmm... If they sang "The Rooster" instead of "One in a Million" they'd probably still be revered.

@THEBADSTERRULES i agree 100% todays music has no heart n hell u cant even tell the difference between rock rap hip hop n country anymore fuck all the trash talkers the 80s rock era will live forever
I don't understand why so many talk shit about Trixter?! They have a lot of great songs and this is one of their best ones. If Trixter would be a new band now they would kick everyones ass! Way better music then any new rock group...
GOING TO SCHOOL WITH THESE GUYS WAS A TRIP. IM GONNA BE THE FIRST TO SAY IT...THEY KNEW HOW TO HANDLE THERE FAME. THEY WERENT YOUR TYPICAL SELLOUT BAND. THEY DID LOTS OF GOOD FOR PARAMUS AND IM GLAD TO HAVE KNOWN THEM ESPECIALLY STEVE BROWN. HE WAS A GREAT GUY AND ALWAYS TOOK TIME OUT TO BS WITH YA OR WHATEVER. WOW...I STILL REMEMBER THERE EARLY SHOWS AT PARAMUS HIGH SCHOOL WHEN THEY WERE GETTING STARTED....DAMN..HOW TIME FLIES BY
The best song these guys ever did no doubt about it.It's also one of those songs you don't sick and tired of listening to either. This is one of those songs that you know it's a hit the moment you hear it.
It's too bad they shortened the solo for the video cause it kicks ass. The hair metal guitarists are the true guitar gods. They played with so much feel for the guitar. George Lynch, Jake E Lee, John Sykes, etc. and there were so many different styles of playing.
They're underrated because back then you didn't have to sift through the garbage as much to find the pearl as today you'd have to. It was much easier to take for granted music that had soul, meaning, heart, and balls. It still existed.
To all the haters: I'd rather see bands like Ratt, LA Guns, Dokken(!!!), and Skid Row play state fairs ANY DAY than see Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney...wait...where are THOSE bands now? : P They didn't "kill" anything, the corporate media did. The same corporate media that dropped grunge as the "popular" thing far more quickly.
GREAT BAND. they look like punky assholes now......

It's too bad they shortened the solo for the video cause it kicks ass. The hair metal guitarists are the true guitar gods. They played with so much feel for the guitar. George Lynch, Jake E Lee, John Sykes, etc. and there were so many different styles of playing.

Ironic that the song is called "One in A Million" when songs like these were a dime a dozen.

Such an underrated band. This is my favorite song by them! Ugh, I wish I lived in the 80s =/

@IronJudasCrue41
They're underrated because back then you didn't have to sift through the garbage as much to find the pearl as today you'd have to. It was much easier to take for granted music that had soul, meaning, heart, and balls. It still existed.
ThorlikeSmash 1 year ago
@IronJudasCrue41 well, they probably would have had more success if they had debuted in 1987 or 88.
But thier first album was a big seller

To all the haters: I'd rather see bands like Ratt, LA Guns, Dokken(!!!), and Skid Row play state fairs ANY DAY than see Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney...wait...where are THOSE bands now? : P They didn't "kill" anything, the corporate media did. The same corporate media that dropped grunge as the "popular" thing far more quickly.
