  • CRACKED!

  • its a devil fruit

  • personally i just don't think it's very apeeling. hehehehe

  • Cracked.com sent me here.

  • This shows why it's not necessary to buy organic bananas. The peels are THIS THICK that they can endure laser-etched engravings and most likely wouldn't be affected by pesticides.

  • Thousands of years of human evolution and we come to this, engraving patterns in fruit via lasers. Can we not do anything more remarkable being the dominant species on the planet? I reckon the dinosaurs did more with their time than us.

  • @fleppleman Ya that's right, this video shows the height of our abilities We, as humans, have not done anything better. This really is the best we ever pulled off. . Look out your window, or the computer in front of you, and think about how stupid your comment was.

  • @stonergoddess My point wasn't that we haven't done anything better or greater, of course we have. My point was that we spend a ridiculous amount of time and energy on pointless endeavors, like engraving patterns on bananas with lasers..

  • Eh. It looks unappealing to eat in my opinion.

  • I care not for the pretty patterns. I just came to see you eat it

  • omaga it peelz 0_o

  • Nobody cares if you're from Cracked.

  • fun with fruits!

  • Your video has been featured on Cracked. You will have a million views very soon.

  • @CthomasMega thanks for the info... But will they be a million people who enjoy bananas?

  • Louis Vutton now selling fruit.

  • cracked

  • Jew-nana

  • i came here to this video just to tell you fucktards to stfu about cracked. anyway, cool banana bro.

  • cracked

  • @Lulzeaterlol:

Why peel it: to prove it's real (most folks at BoingBoing thought it was photoshopped).

Why engrave a banana: because not everything in life needs a purpose and bananas deserve to be decorated once in a while.

  • Why

  • While you might think it clever to deface a banana in the manner in which you have.. The banana had no say in your actions.. Think again before torturing fruit in the future please consider reading more about bananas * Lessard, William O. Complete Book of Bananas. William O. Lessard, Publisher. 1992 * Morton, Julia F. Fruits of Warm Climates. Creative Resources Systems, Inc. 1987. pp. 29-46 * Ortho Books. All About Citrus and Subtropical Fruits. Chevron Chemical Co. 1985. pp. 20-23

  • You opened the banana backwards.

  • @esotericsean

You are absolutely right. We discussed on which side it should be opened in the video, but decided to go for 'the back' because Lotte (the person to whom the hand belongs) was not familiar with the 'proper' technique yet. We had only 1 engraved banana, so only one take to get it right.

  • @studioludens Oh no worries, just pointing that out. Really amazing engraving!

  • @studioludens what do you mean "open it backwards"? I always peel my bananas from that side because i can grab that thing to peel off downwards

  • @esotericsean Wait, what? How is that backwards? That side's the top!

  • @SBw00t

    watch?v=nBJV56WUDng

  • @esotericsean ne seri

  • it would be cool if it were like a snake skin pattern or something

  • @opalshuman:

I did it because we have a new lasercutter, I love bananas and we just launched a new website about pattern making. It needed some content to get started and I wanted to have some fun. I have no intention to start an avant-garde fruit store :-)

  • @studioludens how much is a lasercutter?

  • it certainly is the most stylish banana i've ever looked at

  • i believe you but why do this
