  • Why is it called a Link to the past ? I mean link doesn't go back in time in this game?

  • its called a link to the past because the mystic sages hired by the king sealed the triforce in the golden land, and link has to to travel back to that time (i.e. the dark world in this game) and retrive it to defeat ganondorf.
