  • Your English is great!! Good job!!!

  • This is great! And your English is very good. I learned a lot.

  • Great work dude appriciated well done

  • poor design

  • Nice design. Just a thought though, the support brackets holding the PVC pipes create a good deal of drag, because they are verticaj. Have you thought about making them horizontal, so the thinner edge attacks the wind?

  • generateur 24 V site Weeb discoide1451

  • great job,,,well done.

  • I think it already looks nice but is not powerful enough, try adding a buffer at the top. Good luck!

  • Nice, close ups with measurements.

  • Why is there no video?I can't see anything.

  • fantastic job

  • hve a question if i maid a wind terbine would it make mre eletricity if i added cogs diffrent sized so as the cogs that connected to the genarator did mre rotations from one tern of the pempela ????? is it eany motor i could use to make a terbine ????

  • No está mal la idea. pero las aspas verticales tienen menor rendimiento que las frontales. ya que se ayudan con la gravedad. y pienso que tu modelo es demaciado pesado para el tamaño de las aspas.

  • can you helpme with building my own windmill??

  • Do you think A "V" shaped vane might be a bit more spin friendly.....eehh?

  • Very nice job! I can't wait to see how it works.

  • Americans are too fat and lazy to be creative like this man... Like me <3

  • 4inch steel HVAC duct piping would work..

  • ____ w w w diymagneticmotor com has FREE energy INFO ____

  • There are some things that you should just copy what has been done, best. Like a basic needle, like a propeller. Airplane and aerodynamics companies spend a fortune to find optimum designs. Just saying. Good luck with your projects.

  • I love to see people doing projects like this! Good job man!

  • nice project man. by the way ur english is not bad. you don't have to apologize. ;)

  • @zonn im back, i have so many project on my head but money stop me fron doing it

  • As of April 15, 2011, Nepal will turn 2068 years old in regards to Bikram Sambat calendar. Right now the New Nepali Constitution is planning a draft to use Kirat's calendar (Yele Sambat) to commemorate King Yalamber for opening up Kathmandu valley and starting the human civilization in the valley.

  • This vertical windmill design can be improved by adding a layer of angles vents around the circumference that increase the pressure on the windward side while decreasing the pressure on the leeward side. This also helps make it safer for birds, and you can camouflage it if you'd like. The PVC for blades is a great off the shelf design though!

  • ___ w w w diymagneticmotor com has interesting PLANS~

  • very well done1

  • Your English is just fine. Keep us posted on how the PVC works with winds and temperature conditions, as well as UV exposure over time.

  • I bet 10" PVC instead of what you have there would make that thing turn. Plus the added weight really is a plus. It helps with momentum and torque. Nice turbine for sure.

  • Can you power your home from wind energy only?

  • nice

  • Your PVC will tern black from the sun..

  • good job

  • I was gonna make a horizontal wind turbine.. but there wass noo weyy..

  • isn't PVC a little heavy therefore making it more difficult to turn? don't know, just asking.

  • @HuskerSeaofRed just litle heavy but when is windy this wind turbine keep turning, but i live inside the city and there are too many houses around me , but i attach the dc ametek motor to my bycicle and producing more energy the video is on my channel, thanks for comment i have 40 videos on my channel

  • @HuskerSeaofRed the weight can be good ot limit the seed to keep the turbine from flying apart

  • @dannyjw123 jajaja you have no job in ingland due to inmigrant, i understand about all you bad comments. so now ingland is paying back to all the people that kill and invade and still in the past

  • Thank you for sharing a very well made video .Tec

  • nice job looks great thanks for posting

  • excellent video and presentation.

  • cool!!!

  • No need to apologize for your English... I can understand you just fine. Moreover, thank you for speaking English. We Americans don't have to learn any other language, thanks to you learning English...

    LOL

  • @papercut231719 thanks for you comment, i have so many ideas but money stop me from doing it, on my channel i have many videos where you can learn or have an idea ,

  • Great job I like how rugged it looks.I 'm currently building a mag lev version and wanted to know if you have a recommendation on an altinater that works good for this type of turbine.Output and needed rpm.

  • @ROASTCHICKEN2000 im back, the best is permanent magnet alternator, search on ebay, mwands.com produce the best alternator for wind, i have 30v ametek motor, because where i live there is no wind , i attach the motor to my bicycle, the video is on youtube

  • Not bad but the 1" splines coming off the center hub should be flat with the wind. This would reduce drag. Balancing the assembly would decrease drag. This may be difficult as the PVC would haveto have been cut perfectly with a CNC mill. Still it is a good step in the right direction

  • Hey, I like your video on your vawt. I just made my first VAWT video, I'm looking on suggestions before I decide to build a working model. If you search for " VAWT, Simple easy to build, powerful" you'll find it. any comment welcome.

  • @James12345cb my vawt is not producing really energy, because i live in the city, no wind at all, solar panel is the solution for me, i live in hillsboro tx and no wind at all

  • looks really fragile for weather

  • @gmonk003 did you mean fragile like glass, jajajajaja this turbine is two years old and counting

  • @melecio1 Not that fragile just to high weather conditions. I do like the simplicity and materials. The attempt is grand notable.

  • @gmonk003 because where i live there is not wind i decide to install the ametek 30v motor to my bicycle and really happy doing exercise and producing energy, i will upload the video next week

  • thank you for your video. you did a very good job

  • @mijdtr i like to share my ideas

  • Thank you for sharing your ideas. It is more important to share your ideas than to have perfect English. We can only get better when we make an effort. Please continue to share.

  • Its a lot cheaper to build then buy online.

  • @EllisEndye ideas is the base, the only problem is that deep cycle batteries are expensive, very soon i will upload video of the finish product

  • first of all, YOUR ENGLISH IS QUITE ANNOYING. Than, why do you use inches ?? Why don't you use standard international units of measurement?

Now, the idea is good, but how heavy will the turbine be, if one builds it to be 2 m in height? And how should one reduce the friction?

  • @supremeon1 my english can be annoying for you personal opinion, for you information here in UNITED STATES we use inches, by the way on your profile say that you are from rumania, and you upload only two videos , you don't have any more ideas? my english is not perfect but i have 32 videos where you can learn something at least to learn and be respectfull, do we have to use rumanian standar measurement in cm,i upload videos to share my ideas, i watch videos on diferent languages, video+idea=A+

  • @supremeon1I don't find his accent annoying. Mabey his english isn't perfect, but its ok cause USA in multicultural country and there isa lot of imigrants. On this video he proved that he's smarter than you, he generates his own electricity.

  • @kot211 "cause USA in multicultural country" ?? :)

Man, the video it's not as good as one would expect... to much shaking, and so on... but, IT IS A GOOD IDEA... however, he should cease using inches, and use international measurement units, that are used word-wide, and that are the official unites in US, too... your scientists use them! now, LET'S LEAVE APART THIS ASPECTS PLS, i had a question: how can the friction be reduced if one builds it to be 2m in height... to be useful...

  • @supremeon1 sorry i can't help you my ENGLISH IS QUITE ANNOYING, on your channel you have only two videos that make non sense, nothing about or related wind or solar energy,if i explained to you about friction will be so dificult for you to understand my ENGLISH,the idea of youtube was to share what you know, share ideas, invention so another person can learn, IF YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT MY ANNOTING ENGLISH you will be block, this channel is to share ideas thats all about,

  • @kot211 thanks for you comment, my english maybe bad my accent is bad but i have so many ideas on my head, please watch my channel , i have 32 videos for example i fix and paint my truck, i have remote control helicopter, i build recliner metal chair , one video show my cameras conected to my pc, i have product from smarthome on my house on one video you can see how i turn on and off the ligh with the remote control, i build a roof rack for my jeep liverty , is on one of my videos , s10 rack, tk

  • @supremeon1 well, he doesnt force you to watch his videos. Don't like it don't watch it.

  • @supremeon1 just. shut. up. And show us your turbines.

  • thank man love it

plz make more so we can all learn

    thanks

  • @SuperAaron969 i will upload a video the wind turbine with ametek motor 30v, i already order the charge controller, almost ready

  • Thanks I learnt from this,it looks very durable.

  • thanks for you video, very interesting ;)

  • magnets at the base would probably help reduce friction,,,very nice and simple design my friend. Good luck.

  • Hei, Like na like... Marami ako matutunan sayo.... i like to build on my on also... i hope i can meet u. San ka po nakatira.

  • Hei, Like na like... Marami ako matutunan sayo.... i like to build on my on also... i hope i can meet you

  • salamat kapati

  • Don't apologize for your English... you're very easy to understand. :)

Excellent video and instructions. Hope to see more of your videos soon. :)

  • Excellent! How about an update? This design is nice and simple, perhaps not as efficient as a helix design, but simple wins the race every time!

  • Hi! Do you have any plans for this blade assembly....

  • Great video and you are quite a good craftsman as well. Keep on with the great work.

  • Nice design you have, but just want to know if it is possible to position the blades horizontally? please try and please let me know the result

  • @jzbernales

you do not want a horizontal VAWT, the wind always blows horizontally, that is the beauty of a VAWT, it catches the wind in any direction.

  • I think that if you put some sort of end cap on, it might make it work a bit better.

  • fantastic job!!!!! would like to see how you are going to transfer the mechanical energy into electrical energy. and your English is wonderful!!! understood all of it!

  • Great job, thanks for sharing this project.

  • Great video

  • That looks great, you have given me a great idea now. Thanks so much. Five starred. This is what the internet is all about, sharing ideas!!!

  • The government officials in the Philippines are often U.S. educated, but you are better than them you have the initiative to educate people.

  • thanks for the comment, see all my videos, i have diferent videos about iphone aplication that control my pc, using my iphone i can watch my cameras that are connectec to my pc, i have many ideas but money stop me from doing it, i would like to have solar panel kit for my house, i build a roof rack for my jeep liverty, i repair and paint my chevy s10 after my accident, i dont like to pay to someone if i can do it, i dont trust mechanics i repair everything on my car, cuz i you pay you never learn

  • gd video ! ur english is actually quite good i understand u better than people from up north (england)

  • @atheist1904 Not the point is it? Post avid where you did something better... seriously shut up.

  • im going to build one made out of water just for you

  • @melecio1

lol, that's going to be one funny video! can't wait to see it:)

  • @atheist1904 your keyboard, computer, telephone hell everything in your life is not good for the planet as you say.all plastics are made from crude oil not only pvc :)

  • @liviooo18 in producing and disposing (recycling or burning) of pvc CFC's are produced, this is not the case in many other materials. which makes it particularly bad for the environment.

anyway, I don't want do spoil this initiative, I find it very inventive and a good step in saving the planet. I just wanted to point out the irony... as a joke... to make people smile. That's all.

  • @atheist1904,

Re: producing and disposing of pvc; So this would be a great way to REUSE PVC pipe that is going to be thrown away in landfill or burned don't you think? Give this "scrap material" a second life that will keep it in use for many more years. Reusing materials helps to make the world sustainable.

  • sick

  • How many of them you need to charge an ipod. Life is getting increasingly completed!

  • Nice VAWT.

  • thanks. can u also tell me how much voltage is needed to charge 12v 35ohm motorbike battery? and is it AC or DC needed for charging?

  • DC, you make AC with generators hooks to things like this and then you pass it through a Bridge Rectifier that turns it into DC and that goes to batteries charging them. A Bridge Rectifier is not much after you know what it is, but it's kinda hard to explain for me so just consider it a box with some electronics in it then converts AC to DC

  • you're getting there pls keep us updated. im following your idea.

can you tell me the net weight of the whole turbine without the motor plz

  • hi there, the weight of the without the motor is aprox 40 pound, when i get my tax return i will buy the batteries the PMA alternator and everything i need to get litle energy free, i have more videos on my channel please check my videos

  • Very nice turbine! If you take the cut pvc and turn them 45 degrees to the axis instead of 90 degrees you might get a little wing lift increasing performance. By that I mean rotate the pvc counter clockwise 45 degrees or even just 35 degrees. Could be worth a try.

  • Nice work! Thanks for giving the measurements. Do you have an alternator on it somewhere?

  • look at my all my videos , you will see that is olmost ready, i just need to buy motor or PMA alternator, ametek motor are so expensive now 30v , i like to do something diferent, i hope very soon i will get free energy from the wind

  • This is terrific.....I salute you.

  • great stuff.

  • hey great video I hope it works well for you keep us updated on your progress

  • well done, cant wait to see it spining.

  • hi, here i post a video response so you can see it spining, look nice

  • Excellent craftsmanship. I wish I knew how to weld like that.
