i understand the fuel economy in an 8 speed but as your cruising along its like listening to a fuckin church choir as the car shifts gears with every tiny bit of change in pressure on the throttle, i've been in the outgoing 8 speed lexus and it becomes SO frustrating, to pull out and pass on the highway takes 2 or 3 gear changes down to do so.

Its a big car, and the engine and gearbox are not designed for speed, their designed for absolute comfort. Step into an Audi dealer and sit in one, you will be amazed, espeically coming from a Hyundai, no offence. You can drive 150mph and not hear anything and just float over bumps.

If you want a fast 0-60 car get something else. Just because its expensive doesn't mean it has to go super fast.
