  • you might have the best tutorial voice on tube. This is going to help me out with my 1/48 king tiger decals. great upload

  • @maxsollie Thanks. that was an unexpected compliment

  • Great vid, thanks

  • Great video man! I actually went yesterday to a store, and the man there recommended me Micro Set and Micro Sol, and I ended up buying them both, and I wasn't really sure that they would work, but this video actually helped me a lot, thanks man! :D

  • Very useful! Thank you.

  • What do Micro set and Micro Sol do in detail?

  • @mr9396 Micro set is put on the model before applying the decal to improve adhesion and allow the decal to better conform to the models surface if it's an awkward shape. Micro sol is used on top of the decal once it's on the model to soften it up and thin it out so it looks painted on.

  • @ThePrimalAce. Could i just use micro sol on its own?

  • @mr9396 Indeed, I often don't need to use micro set. Micro sol is used each time, micro set only when you have awkward surfaces for it to stick too.

  • @ThePrimalAce. cool. thanks for your help

  • @ThePrimalAce, where i live, I don't have acess to the Micro Set and Sol, so can I still paste the decal without it? please reply as I am in this process at the moment...

  • @legodude557 You can indeed use just warm water to apply a decal, it just wont look so good. It'll look better than a sticker, but it wont look painted on.

  • @ThePrimalAce thank you :)
