Hi! I just wanted to tell everyone that I bought the 'Stash-It' box you see in this video.
When it was delivered, (overnight too!) I played with it for a while and practiced opening and closing it. Once I could do it quickly and quietly, I showed it to my family. (Of course I didn't tell them or show them how to open it!)
What a blast I've had with it. Lots of fun and lots of laughs!
For me, it's just been so much fun watching everyone try to open it. They've tried squeezing the lid, feeling for hidden buttons, pressing on the hinges and just about everything else to open it. (It's hilarious when you're the one who KNOWS how it works).
I didn't buy this just for the fun though. I also bought it to store medicines in. I have a curious toddler in my daycare who's figured out how to open the various child safety locks on my cabinets. Storing dangerous things 'out-of-reach' doesn't work here. This box is strong and sturdy and because of the secret way it opens, he can't open it so my home is now safer. This box (and it's secret, of course) will be handed down from generation to generation and will certainly be a family heirloom.
is there a latch that ur pushing down to open it and then you release the latch as u put the lid down for it to catch on the lid so it stays shut...because when ur messing with it to open it "under the hanky" ur on that side of the box and also when u open the box u never move ur hand from the bottom of the box and it is directly center on the bottom. i have to agree with bababababarbarajean ( i had to caopy and past the e-mail...lol) but u do have cool music.
Mickey, I'd like to thank you for creating this wonderful box. And thanks especially for selling it to me. We're having a great time with it.

I just thought I'd mention here that no two boxes are designed the same way. Each one operates in it's own distinct manner.
