Its an accessory. Notice that his brave went to zero, because the accessory turns your brave into HP when you run out of health.
Usually, when the numbers turn white, you have more Brave than they have HP. One HP attack would finish them. The accessory effect made it all confusing. And it also makes it very irritating in battle.
Yeah, I know the whole thing that when your BRV numbers 'shine', then you can kill them then. I just didn't know there was an accessory that did that kind of effect. I see how his remaining BRV though went to his HP, thanks for pointing it out.
Just a question, but aren't some of these accessories CPU only, or is every one able to have every accessory in the game?
There are a few (5, I think?) that are CPU only. Those few are really overpowered.
(-.- )
But the one he had, Phoenix Tail (I think), can be bought in the shop(Its a trade item), along with another that keeps you with 1 hp should you be hit by a HP attack that would kill you. It is considered less rare, but its effect can be more useful depending on the predicament, 'cuz the other leaves you with zero and no automatic brave recovery. But, the other leaves 1 hp... It depends.
I enjoy reading. :P But yeah, I know of the CPU only ones, such as the BRV +3000 or whatever when they're near break when EX Burst is started/ends. That one as I've said with another on here is basically the "LOL no'' accessory.
Can't say I see many using the 1 HP save one though. Mostly everyone uses the EX ones to grab cores better/faster for the EX defense.
Like the HP -95% and HP1 thing, theres also Brave at 0 at beginning, Brave plus 200% and Brave+ 2000%.
Although the HP1 ans stuff cn be used along with multiplier accessories to get things like a 50 or 80 times mutiplier. That and there are multiplier CPU only ones. An alernate 30 seconds, and 60,90,120,180,240 second ones. But those are mostly only used by scripted Storymode CPU battles. But I think the absorbtion range and EX to brave aren't CPU only. I think.
Wait, sorry, I misunderstood what you said. The Phoenix Feather(I think that's what it's called) isn't all that easy to get. Also, they break after they re used in battle. So, they're pretty rare. And most people want the EX stuff 'cuz all they care about is dealing damage, instead of being more wise about battle and using whatever they can to turn the tide. EX mode may have regen, but it doesn't help much if you're dead.
Yeah. But when it comes down to CPU's, it really doesn't matter so they probably get used to just using EX freely, and not thinking about what it does in real human matches. In a CPU fight, we're mostly just seeing how fast we can kill something.
As to the other post, yeah, people don't think that something REALLY bad will happen to them, but if you think about it, one break with a HP + crash damage means 1 HP as is, so then the charm doesn't save. Right? Then they're screwed.
Same way with the one WoL used. If he's in break, he doesn't have any brave to recover with. Theres a counter measure to each. But the 1hp one keeps your hp from hitting 0 regardless. It seems a bit easier to use, even if it'll only take 1 brave point to kill you( which coupled with a summon like Odin, Death Gaze, Levaithan, Malboro, ones like that, it can make it really hard. The best one would have to be shiva. Theyll stay at zero for awhile. And cant kill you.)
And with the Brave to HP one, you could use Demon Wall to prevent Break, Atomos to absorb the Brave as you die and convert to hp(not sure if it works), Bahamut to recover from 0 afterwards, Ifrit could you by increasing Brave before you die, or the best one I can think of, Alexander. Locks in your Brave so it cant decrease, and should work for being converted into HP, and Brave not decreasing. But I'm not sure if it'll work or not, you just have to be techncal with it.
Thats what I mean about it not being all fighting and stuff. (But then again, I just enjoy the fighting anyways wothout having to be all technical, all that technical stuff is for extreme professional stuff, or things like tournaments.
That, and people don't expect one little thing to go wrong and them end up beaten, so they don't worry about preparing for something like that. I've learned the hard way about things like that...
Dissidia 012 isn't quite as easy to break, whereas the AI gets a massive boost later, and gathering EX Spheres does fuck all for your EX Gauge.

Hold on.
6382 - 6825 = +976?
What the fuck happened at 1:50? That should have killed him, but he had a decent bit of HP left.
