@verbaledge They are the best sounding new strings out there, go figure they are some of the cheapest.. D'addario in my opinion makes the best acoustic strings as well.. But with that juicy crisp tone that comes with traditional uncoated strings you'll end up with that traditional worn out sound after a bit of playing.. they last longer if you keep them lubed

That's basically how you practice speedwise. Just play that same lick across the neck over and over again. There's actually a lesson on the ultimateguitar site that teaches the same thing. It's just playing that annoying shit over and over and over and over and over... Then you start sweeping and play that same damn arpeggios over and over and over and over... Then you do some other random shit before your hands fall off.
