@almaster666 Tout le monde peut avoir ses propres opinions bien sur, mais il ne faut pas non plus argumenter son opinion sur une actrice par "Tout le monde pense qu'elle a du merite a cause de ses parents mais la parenté n'a rien a voir!" C'est exactement comme dire qu'elle est bonne grace a ses parents - à l'inverse. Ca n'a pas de sens! Il faudrait plutot spécifier les choses dans son jeu lui-même qui vous déplaisent, plutot que sa "popularité" ou ses liens sociaux.

@Bennuist Complètement d'accord, d'ailleurs à l'inverse de Charlotte, Lulu fils également de Serge Gainsbourg et de Bambou, n'a pas eu la même notoriété qu'elle, c'est bien preuve que le nom et l'hérédité ne fait pas tout, bien sur ça aide, sans l'ombre d'un doute, mais cela ne fait pas le talent. Et je pense que Charlotte Gainsbourg détient ce talent. :)

I think her performance in this movie rivals Isabelle Adjani's in Possesssion, and probably exceeds it. French actresses are amazingly good. They fearlessly put themselves through some SERIOUS roles that require so much on camera. Chaos reigns!

I think the most affecting image in the film is simply the emotionally charged expressions on her face. Her frightened eyes were as terrifying as any of the surreal/nightmarish images Von Trier presented in the film, because she made me believe there was really something to fear...

She really deserved for award. She plays perfect her character and this was very difficult role. But Charlotte likes role like that one in Antichryst. She usually plays difficult person in difficult situations. She is really great actress.

Oussama, l'art ne se limite pas je crois a montrer les choses comme elles devraient l'etre,ou plutot comme elle devraient l'etre selon toi. Non, ce qui me décoit c'est de voir qu'apparemment Charlotte est un peu larguée par le film, meme si on ne peut pas exclure completement que Lars Von Trier le soit un peu aussi. Mais bon le génie doit surement avoir une part d'inconnu. En tout cas Charlotte s'en sort quand meme très bien je trouve, pour un rôle aussi complexe a jouer.
