  • Weak!!!!

  • THATS ME IN THE FUTURE!

  • i was thinking to myself "dang i dont know if iii can do this" i need a sign!! then my last name poped up "chavez" :D coinsidence?? hahaa

  • i am a freshman in high school and i really want to become an MTI in the air force...i am in an AFJROTC corp and want to persue all four high school years. and i was wondering what are the requirements to become one............anyone with answers comment back and help me. Thanks

  • @thehundredsrocks talk to a recruiter

  • @thehundredsrocks It is a special duty. If I were you, I would enlist for 4 or six years, and you will have an opportunity to apply for it around the 3/3.5 year mark(4 years) or around your 5 year mark(6 years). You can apply for it as a SrA but SSgt is recommended. I am on a 6 year contract and will be testing for SSgt next year. Only a couple more years and I can apply to be an MTI.

  • Sorry I couldn't hear anything over over the instructors clicking boots...

  • Very juvenile words for some people that don't know anything but think they have it all figured out. I am in the Air Force, and it is a joint fight! Not my problem you couldn't pass an ASVAB and join in a branch that actually takes care of one another. Anything you comment from here on out is pretty much a waste of time and I'll be laughing.

  • about the whole branch competition... stfu. im stationed at Misawa AB Japan, and I am USAF, but I work with just as many Navy and Army as I do Air Force... its a JOINT military now... deal with it.

  • you say civilian like its something bad or that ur better than a civilian. dont forget what you were before you joinned the military, (a civilian) dont forget what ur mommy and daddy are (civilian) dont forget what our president and the people running our government are, (civilians)... and yes they do play by different rules, ur just a nobody that will become a (civilian) once you leave the military!!!! so what do u have to say know, civilian!!!

  • @deputy1040 fuck the president

  • Life has to suck for the instructors

  • I am an Army instructor at Fort Sam Houston and yes, HANDS DOWN the Air Force Airmen do put Army and Navy to shame when it comes to marching...Good Job AF

  • @spazgypsy But the Army Infantry puts Airmen to shame when it comes to combat. I went through 14 weeks of Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia and all of my training focused on combat. I can't say anything bad about AF training, but I just had a friend graduate from AF boot camp and he said it was actually pretty easy. I wish I could say that about my training lol

  • @jacobbis4lovers Well the Air Forces isn't aimed at combat/infantry so you can't compare.

  • @jacobbis4lovers No you don't!! You do not wish you could say the same thing about your training. Because then you wouldn't be able to pretend to be a badass over youtube! 2 brothers, both infantry. They tell me Benning was easy.. so lighten up wannabe tough guy. No need to put others down.

  • @0709nick Just because it was easy for them, doesn't mean it was easy for other people. Look at pro skater Tony hawk. He makes skating look easy, but when someone else tries it, they have a difficult time.

  • @spazgypsy marching yup thats what wins wars good job airforce on you awesome marching hands down the best marching.......fighting sucks.....but marching AWESOME>

  • 1:11 Since when did Kenny Chesney join the Air Force?

  • I swear to God,when I went through AF basic back in 71,our two instructors were Sgt. Stoner and Sgt. Bong. Y'all know I couldn't make that up.

  • if u cant pass air force bootcamp them ur one sad individual bcuz its the easiest bootcamp there is. these fly boys got it made

  • @deputy1040 Hmmmmm. Nah. As per the physical aspect Navy is easier. They get more time to run and less push up and crunches requirement for graduation.

  • @deputy1040 lol, If you say so... :P

  • @deputy1040 have you been through AF bootcamp? if not, then hush please. stop being naive.

  • @kawiMC no i havent been through af bootcamp, i went through a real bootcamp with the ARMY!!! the question is, have u been through a real bootcamp. so you hush up faggot!!!

  • @deputy1040 if you've never done it then you cant say shit, because you dont know shit. if you actually are in the military like you claim and you arent just talking out of your ass to get a rise out of someone, then try carrying yourself like a professional and stop embarrassing yourself and your branch. clearly bootcamp didnt teach you anything.

  • @kawiMC listen you stupid little punk im 45 yrs old, im not a pimple faced kid out of high school like you are. i went through army boot camp back in 1985 before you were born at fort benning GA. i was in the first gulf war as 11bravo then switched to 11 charlie mos so dont play that patriotic crap on me. after the gulf war i was stationed in panama for 4 yrs. so why dont you go to ur nearest cvs store and buy some pimple medication to clear ur face and ass bcuz im sure they are full of pimples

  • @deputy1040 OK then act like a fucking vet and respect the military as a whole. its called JOINT WARFARE.... holy shit ive never met someone so embarrassing. You attempted to insult me 2 times on these imaginary pimples that you claim i have...i have no idea what acne has to do with the military. but grow up.. you assume im a young little boy, which is also cool i guess. but im growing tired of watching you TRY to be tough. im going now to apply my pimple medication now..thanks for reminding me.

  • @kawiMC ok there big guy, you go apply ur pimple meds on ur face and leave the grouchy old timers alone cuz i dont play by the same rules you do!!!!

  • @deputy1040 You're right, Civilian, you don't play by the same rules. Now take care.

  • @deputy1040 You make the military look bad soldier. If any one has a right to brag about their branch its me. I'm a Marine that graduated from Parris Island and u wont ever hear me walking around acting like I'm tough shit cause I'm in the military. Respect all branches cause one day your ass might be saved by the Air Force. Dont be that the one that gives your branch a bad name.

  • @yamitsku892 dude who the hell asked you who u are or where you came from. I dont care what you have done and dont give a shit where ur going, I wipe my ass with all you over rated marines that think ur the toughest people in the world, so screw you screw the marines and screw what u believe in....you dont have any rights whats so ever bcuz ur nothing but a dishwashing private that has to be told when to wipe ur ass, so dont come in here trying to act like ur somebody ur not , u idiot private!

  • @deputy1040 your just a pissed off little bitch that gets butt hurt cause its a fact that basically trained Marines are the equivalent of army rangers. You guys come in after were already done wiping out everything. So all thats left for you to do is clean dishes.Your that guy that gets NJP'd atleast once a year i bet. O and just a little clarification... i hvnt had to clean a fucking dish in my whole career as a Marine. So go play with yourself while we do all the work for you.

  • @yamitsku892 I love how u say that we come in after ur done wiping out everthing!!! kid, u cant even wipe ur own ass, wake up little boy ur having another wet dream, u been watching to many war movies.u actually think that this country gives a crap about u dont u, wake up boy bcuz they dont even know ur name. you could die in combat tomorrow and people will act like they give a shit but the truth is that nobody gives a shit that ur dead except ur own family, so go ahead and die i dont care.

  • @yamitsku892 A fresh out of basic E-1 with as much training as a Ranger? Was that some sort of sick joke? With that ego you wouldn't even last a week in Ranger School.

  • TSgt Chavez, from the video, "babysat" us one time and made us play the "deployment game" which consisted of us standing in front of our wall lockers and giving us about 15 seconds to grab different items such as toothpaste, shampoo, etc. If we messed up, we had to do it all over again, but with more items. This lasted about 2 hours

  • Chavez was my instructor!!!!

  • TSgt Chavez recently recieved one of 12 airmen of the year I believe. Very great for him, i'm sure he deserves it!

  • I am a Marine stationed at Marine Detachment Lackland AFB, and I was also in the Army. I can say that being stationed on an Air Force Base is VERY different than on a Marine base. Although our missions are VERY different, I can now say that I have a new respect for airmen in USAF. When the airmen recruits march around, I see as much pride in drill as regular Marines.

  • @myhomie01 Thank you for the post marine. I am an airman based in a DGS site. Question: when you say different what do you mean exactly? I've heard stories about the barracks being terrible and that until you hit corporal it is 2 marines to every 1 room. Thanks in advance.

  • @Tasadaru Marines are used to "On the spot counselings" or "one way conversations" when being corrected. Seems that Airmen want to interrupt and try to argue a point. As far as 2 Marines to a room, that is normal. Barracks are handled by our NCO's, that being E5 and below. If a SNCO needs to get involved, THEN and only THEN can living in the barracks be a hell. Amenities that the Army or Air Force may have does not exist in the Marines. We clean our own mess, not contractors.

  • @myhomie01 the shit aint easy brother. and mad props for you being a marine sir!

  • when i was in friggen ait we had a air force instructor come in to replace our army instructor... air force has got it easy... i feel bad for them.

  • so i go to basic on oct 10, and graduate around december. Will i be able to wear that cool pea coat?

  • GOD!! They show them so tame! I will never forget Betancourt. That guy was scary and insane. Tossed beds around like they were frisbees. Thought it would be a summer camp. Oops.

  • haha im headin to the air force i live literally like 10 mins from it ha i wont even be far from home!! im so excited but nervous

  • @s1xr1ngs Good luck. It's not that hard... so don't be nervous.

  • @BrowningThirty or have to listen to one of those guys from .2 inches away lol

  • wow worthless weak and even fat instructors lmfao

  • I remember meeting Tsgt Chavez... He was a SSgt when I first met him

  • I had the Pleasure of meeting Tsgt Chavez my first night at lackland

  • I joined the marine corp not because their "Better" ...but because Im really really gay...and want to live with as many hot dudes as possible.....ahh i get top see their dicks in the shower too

  • aww thats so cute they do pugil sticks like what marine BOOT CAMP does.

  • Tsgt Chavez! He was an awesome class instructor

  • @killkamp i had tsgt chaves! well not really, but we got him his blue rope a few months ago!

  • Tsgt Chavez! He was an awesome class instructor

  • damn thinking about becoming a T.I....motivating shit to slay bodies and yell at recruits....

  • I saw my MTI, Sgt Avery 0:36

  • The narrator sounds gay.

  • did i see will smith?

  • thats true as long as you love and serve your country it doesent matter what you join

  • The only time T.I.'s ever had that tone was in the classroom. It's freaky just listening to them.

  • 0:10 homeless crackheads junkies criminels and no life no money ppl forse 2 join the u.s army they have no other choose or die in ur own shit or die for the fatherland and obama's pocket or become a muslim and say's peace

  • @xx9MMxx Learn to spell. And this isn't the Army, this is the Air Force.

  • @xx9MMxx

,,, this is the Air Force... and you have to be smart to be in it. same as other branches.

  • By far the one of the best war skills instructors at Lackland. TSgt. Chavez.... I had him for SABC 2 and 3! 320th TRS. He was awesome!

  • TSgt Chavez!!! He was one of my class instructors! He was hilariousss.

  • @ycfanofavondale Hell yeah, i had him as an instructor 326 Bull dogs

  • Chicks dig tigerstripe.

  • 0:54 Tsgt CHAVEZ! Great war skills instructor now, and hes actually on active-reserve duty

  • omg 1:14 thats my TI ssgt williams baby!!!! wtf!

  • TSGT CHAVEZ HECK YEAH

  • HAHA TSgt CHAVEZ!!!! he was freakin awesome.

  • I remember the giant PT pad made of red tar. It stained everything you wore.

  • My TI was an ass hole. I remember him fondly, well, maybe not.

  • I remember my TI's SSgt Chin and Tsgt WIllis from 16 Apr 1997 to 13 Jun 1997

  • there really may have been literally maybe once or maybe, just maybe even two times where we got to crack a slight joke with the TI but most of the people who attempted ended up paying for it as the rest of us tried to hold back either the fear or the chuckles of laughter, one or the other.

  • @AF2oo7 its funny you say that cuz my bro in law was in army and he kept telling me how lenient they were and i never fully bought it. i was in air force boot camp and i will say it was a total mind fuck from day one til finish. they really never did let up just like another guy on here said. its all about fucking paying attention to damn detail. if i heard it once i heard it a million times lawl

  • HAHAHAHA! They don't yell, they're fat, and THEY'RE NOT MARINES!

*Just trying to start a bit of inter-service rivalry here.* :-P

  • @Nilyentaraka Um, years ago when I was there, they DID yell...constantly, from the moment you got off the bus. Most of the TI's I remember were not fat in the slightest.

  • @AF2oo7 not at my basic training bud. And i went to ft. Jackson. Our platoon sergeant was (is) infantry, so he was strict about shit.

  • @darklion53

when did you go to relaxin?

  • A fat Training Inctructor? Not in the Army or Marines. I do think the Air Force is awesome though. I plan on joining the Air Force later in life. Right now I got to do my Army thing. I would love to see this Air Force M.T.I. get replaced by my 12 year, 13 time combat veteran, infantry drill sergeant. or have to flight commander get replaced by my Airborne Ranger Infantry company commander. Still, I would love to be an Air Force M.T.I.

  • As a former MTI, 1964 through 1968, I enjoyed your video. Worked in the 3727th & 3711th BMTS, from Apr 64 through approximately Jul 65. Was then brought on board the old "I.T.B", (Instructor Training Branch). Stayed there until Aug 1968. Loved working at the Instructor Training School; especially when I had a seminar of all women! (Sgt. through Chief Master Sergeant). I was a SSgt. but was promoted to TSgt. before leaving LAFB. I'm ready (at 71) to go back - Hut, Toop, Threep, Forp.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, the general gave a proper salute!!

  • TSgt Chavez is probably the coolest guy in all of BMT. GREAT war skills instructor.

  • Since when do you get to joust in Basic?? I swear the new trainees get all the perks.

  • lol his hat is crooked in the video.

  • im going to airforce to hope to be a fighter pilot

  • @A1FORC3 i think u need to be a commisioned officer then. i'm going too in 5 yrs. need to finish college 1st

  • @A1FORC3 Good luck to you. Only the top pilots in pilot school get selected to be fighters. The rest go to heavies.

  • @A1FORC3 Well... if you're joining Enlisted... you've failed already.. just fyi*

  • We will all be a joint service joint military very soon.

  • I'm in the army and when i re-up I'm going to into the Air force they have a much higher standard of living than the army, honestly the army is a really bad choice for anyone who who likes being treated like a human and not a piece of shit

  • omfg thats tsgt chavez! he was fuckin legit he taught a few of our classes. told the craziest stories.

  • same here, he was awesome

  • im 15 and im looking foward to turning 18 and joining and i have a question to anyone who has been through BMT, What are some things i should go ahead and start working phisical wise?

  • @chewman568 Running, situps, pushups and memorization

  • Comment removed

  • damn Tsgt chavez was one of my war skills instructors

  • @urbanbeatz101 that guy was the shit!

  • 1:55

    General Fraser

He visit our base and made us do Push Ups. LOL

  • Im army myself but guess what? It doesnent matter what Branch of service your in we all wear the same flag on our shoulders. Hooah. <3 USA

  • @raven245245245245 sorry air force dosnt have any flag on there sholder

  • @mauricehayes

    yes, the flight suit does

  • @Marynicole830 ya i ment on the normal uniforms blues or BDU/ABU

  • @mauricehayes I know I wish they did. I'm hopefully joining the guard soon, and I wish the USAF wore the flag like the Army. I wonder why only Army wears it on their utility uniform...

  • @Marynicole830 its cause they forget which side there fighting for its a reminder..

  • @mauricehayes

    XD lol!

  • @raven245245245245 From the Air Force, glad to serve with you Brother!

  • @raven245245245245 hell yea, US Army Infantryman here

  • @raven245245245245 Army is the only branch that wears a flag on their shoulder.

  • @inflames07 Yeah, lets argue like insolent children over which branch of military wears a damn flag on their shoulder! His point was that we all serve under the same flag. DUH!

  • @inflames07

    The flight suit wears it..

  • @raven245245245245 Marines do not wear US Flags

  • @raven245245245245 it's all about OORAH

  • @raven245245245245 says the army pud. Marine Corps

  • @raven245245245245 I'm pretty sure that someone else has already mentioned this but only Army goons wear the flag on their uniforms.

  • USAF! ♥♥

  • 0:38 Ssgt Avery. . .324 TRS HOLLAAAA!!! haha that was at Beast. . .that was FUN!

  • Dang im excited for BMT. Going in next year at the fall time.

  • I keep seeing peoples whinny comments. If you post a bad comment most likely they have little to no life experience and have no idea what a wonderful opportunity it is to have a steady paycheck, steady job and somewhere free to live or you were just a horrible airman. I have one of the hardest jobs in the airforce and still it isnt so bad, just do you job!!! its not that hard.

  • @militarychick100 Spoken like a true boot-licking lifer tool

  • ahah TSgt. Chavez was my MTI coolest dude when ya didnt piss him off

  • OMG! TSgt Chavez! He's such a cool MTI.... I forgot what class he taught our flight, but I do remember all the stories he told us.

  • I LOVE how when you first get there you suddenly don't know your left from your right, and you can't even walk correctly anymore.

God that seems like forever ago. I doubt any of my instructors are still there, though one earned his blue rope with us, another earned his hat, and I'm pretty sure one of the others was on parole with us....

  • Anyone know if SSgt Timmons is still a TI?

  • Comment removed

  • @Kayleigh27 He left about 2 or three months ago

  • @carbs01 Well dang...he was a crazy mofo. TSgt Farley too

  • TSgt Chavez is a good instructor I had him in a bunch of classes back last July/August when i was there. He is hilarious and like a said really great instructor. Anyone going to BMT soon good luck and keep your head up and make the most of it. You will not regret it.

  • I remember TSgt Chavez as well. He really was one of those instructors that not only kept my flight's attention but he also helped alleviate some of the stresses of the day by providing a comfortable learning environment.

  • I did 21yrs in the AF, much has changed, but Im just an old timer with old memories..God Speed to all the new members...you too will make your own memories...

  • MTIs are a bunch of wanna bees. If you want that kind of life why not go join the Army. There is no need for an Air Force boot camp. If an AFSC requires fighting, like security forces, send them to the army for training. The rest of us should have gone straight to tech school and then to work. Air force basic training is a wast of money and time. There is nothing important taught in basic that couldn't be learned in one day at tech school.

  • @vanover84 nah, you couldnt have been in the AF. c'mon which branch were you in?

  • you're a moron. I don't even know where to begin telling you how you're wrong

  • Sounds like somebody is bitter.

8 weeks of remolding young men and women is needed in the Air Force. So many people go through changes in boot camp and by the time the whole experience is over, they don't even realize how quickly they've come to adapt the military lifestyle.

Everything from dress and appearance, customs and courtesies, first aid, and military discipline are taught during boot camp. Now if you don't believe that's a necessary part of the military then maybe you are/were a DBA

  • @iamfoob thank god im outta they fucking military. what a fucking sham they treat y ou like little kids, i did my 4 years, honorably, never got in troulbe, several commendation medals and awards and was even awarded outstanding performer by pacaf at elmendorf afb, i was one of the best airman there, and i can tell you straight up that base ruined it for me, dunno if its diff elswehere, but they treat you like shit up there.

  • @norjak71 It's mostly what you make of it. Were you security forces? Those are the only ones who really seem to hate it.

  • @iamfoob haha nah, i know why they hated it tho. god damn awful job had to do augmentee duty for a few days and for the air show. fuckin horrible. i was a computer admin for finance. jus didnt care for it at all.

  • @iamfoob people who pump shit out of airplanes are generally more disgruntled than cops.

  • @nesbitt615 lets hear it for fleet service.

  • @CamaronConLeche hoooooooooooo rahhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @norjak71 my favorite thing was trying to do my job. I had to drill a hole and then had to put on armor platting, hearing protection, chem suit, and then do a piss test for metal poisoning just because 1 jackass in the 70's drilled into his hand. fucking stupid and a waste of time

  • @vanover84 are you stupid? BT is the best way to build up discipline and respect among the ranks.

  • Military Training Instructor
