  • "When he failed to locate Sarah Conner, the Terminator took up guitar playing. This is his story..." :D nice playing, nice axe. thanks!

  • @worshipmusician45601 LOL, you win! Thanks for stopping by -- that's a priceless comment!

    Regards,

    Richard

  • Your playing kicks major ass!

  • Do the dark sunglasses have any effect on the sound?

  • Falco in da house!

  • Hey guy....very interested in your homemade Sinner Boy guitar. I'm an amateur luthier and would like to build one myself. What can you tell about it? Where can I look to find out more?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Wow man, that sounds incredible. Jesus you sound just like Gibbons! How is the Fat Pat as far as getting muddy with lower notes? Did you use the Fat Pat for the main riff and the Crunchy Pat for solos or what?

  • @VanPlayzGuitar Thanks very much, you made my day! The main riff at the very beginning is both pickups; then I switch to the Fat Pat bridge for the rest of the clip. I don't notice too much mud with the FP on the lower notes unless there's a ton of distortion. Check my " GFS Fat Pat GFS Crunchy Pat Tone Test " clip for the Crunchy in action on this same guitar. Also " Nosferatu: the Grave Can't Hold You" and " Lon Chaney Rocks" to hear the Fat Pat in song mixes, see what you think. Thanks again.

  • "Jesus Just Left Chicago," but Richard Day Gore is in da house! :) Great work, FRIENNNDDD! This is one of my favorites.

  • :) \m/ greetings from your international fan club! you rock, and how! keep up the great work, FRIENNNNDDD!

  • is the Fat Pat in the bridge position? I'm trying to decide between the Fat Pat and the VEH to put in the bridge of my strat. Thanks!

  • @NHBluesMan and for the record, i use the strat mostly for blues, but some classic style rock stuff as well. I want something versatile that still sounds decent clean, but can do gain well

  • @NHBluesMan Hey there--yes the Fat Pat is in the bridge, Crunchy in neck. It sounds okay clean, though to my ears it doesn't have a ton of bottom end. It can really get some Brian May-like upper mid howl, though and that's why I like it.

  • You're good.. But are you sunglasses indoors good? That's kinda pushing it, but I'll have to say yes.

  • @TheBigMclargehuge I prefer the sunglasses to the droopy eyelid left over from cancer treatment. Heaven knows, I wouldn't want to be accused of "guitar face" LOL. Thanks for your comment, rock on!

  • sweet man! how do you like the fat pat? im thinking about getting them and i just wanted your opinion.thanks!

  • @sthrnynky7 Many thanks! I really like the Fat Pat. It's pretty versatile and can drive an amp very well and yield some hot tones that cut through a mix. Single coil mode is a little disappointing, but IMO most buckers aren't very convincing when one coil is cut anyway.

  • Am so gonna have to get over there and meet your guitars, I mean, meet you...

Damn fine playing and saweeeeeet tone!

  • Very nice playing. The Leslie West and Rory Gallagher influence is evident here..

Check my Leslie West Mountain channel, I think you'll get a charge out of it...

  • thanks, depper!

  • Screamin', yeah

  • Thanks man, I appreciate it.
