I sold the kit almost two years ago. I was using the Jackson Racing Powercard. MS is much better, though, and I would recommend it for the same setup.
The engine is stock. I was running 8 psi here, which was good for 209 hp and 173 lb/ft at the wheels. I was using a TDR air-air intercooler.
200 hp, whether at the crank or wheels, is absolutely possible without an intercooler. If you don't want an intercooler, check out Fast Forward Superchargers, Moss Motors, or Flyin Miata. If you do want an IC, my kit is for sale.
I'm in UK so the parts have to be adapted for RHD.There are however a few places in the UK that specialize in SC Miata (MX5). However an intercooled mp62 would cost about £3500 ($7000.
Bet 209hp is very fun? Car sounds awesome. Bet you can really piss some people of with it.
That sucks that the pricing in the UK is so high, although it would assure you of more exclusivity I suppose.
The car was very fun with the supercharger, but I decided that a turbo would be better for my needs. I am planning on tracking the car more, so the linear power delivery isn't as important now. In this state, the car definitely surprised some people.
I'm currently selling the supercharger, intercooler and accessories necessary to run the blower.
hey u still got this kit for sale? what were u doing for engine management? megasquirt im guessing since every miata guy goes by MS.

Hey,
Im thinking about a mp62 and have a 99.Couple of questions if you dont mind.
Built engine? if not what psi and bhp you running. Also is it intercooled.
Im thinking of stage1 first without intercooler. Would love 200bhp. Is this poss?

When this vid was taken, the car had an '01 exhaust manifold and an Enthuza Speeder axle-back exhaust, but the midpipe was stock.
