Toyah performed this live last night at the Wisley Music Festival in Surrey. It was the best I've heard her sing it. She was excellent.

Yeah it is, she was made to record it by her record company at the time. I think she's learned to love it now, and performs it briilliantly live.

I've got to say I like the original better, there's more interesting music behind the singing, and the vocals are more convincing. Toyah's kind of droning the words, it's a bit dull.

i was just reading the comments and therefore not watching the video. i now realize the song is not so bad its the bloody awful video reminded me of the sort of thing Sam Fox used do.
