Catrike Trail Trike Toe In Front Wheels Adjustment

Some Catrikes have tierods which are threaded such that rotating the tierod does not change the length. To change the length on these, you have to remove one rod end from its wheel, and rotate that end in the rod. Reconnect it to check your adjustment. Advantage: the overall length doesn't change if the stop nuts should become loose. Disadvantage: it's harder to change the length, and the minimum change you can make is 1/2 turn of one rod end, which may result in a less-than-perfect toe setting.

@joshuer333 Hello ! Thanks for your comment ! I think you are going to ejoy this alot. Once everything is setup properly, it's a comfortable ride. I just did a small 30km ride today with friends who were riding bicycles and they were complaining about their seats were not confortable. My ride wase always comfy ! Lunch time was also confortable sitting in my trike relaxing ! You made a good choice. Enjoy your new toy !!!

Sir, this is an excellent explanation and demonstration. My wife and I pick up our two new Catrike Expeditions this weekend and I did not fully understand how to ensure toe-in until viewing your video. Your camera work and production is very well done. Thank you.

Just double check the gap you need on your Expeditions. The trail requires a maximum of 1/16" gap (gap would be in the back of the wheel rim).

The shop where I bought my Trail had setup the wheels with a 5/8" gap. Drive was awefull. Now it's stable and won't ware tires.
