Just watched it and im not impressed. In fact many of the fighting scenes bored me. They looked to slow and the hits to shallow. Those stuntman may tell another story but that is just what I saw.

@EverShenmueMaster In the movie she really liked watching Martial arts movies.She picked up a lot of her technique from watching others fight. Most likely she came across some Bruce Lee films and that is where she picked up some of his mannerisms in her fighting.

So it's either, leave it in Thai with English subtitles or dub it over in English. Many people don't like having to read the subtitles though. If it's important to you, you can look for the Thai version with the English subtitles (If that's what you mean by the sounds not matching).

The only thing that made this movie more badass than it already was, was the fact that all of the fighting was real.  Cuts, broken bones, near death from spinal injury, etc. Shows how dedicated they were to making the fighting look as authentic as possible.

@libertango779 Yea, the film's called Raging Phoenix. However, she doesn't at all fight like she does in Chocolate. Instead she uses the martial art style of capawara in the movie. So yea, it might not be what you expect... but still worth a watch anyways.

I just saw this movie. It was very good. Her reflexes were just incredible, and she was so adorable. Her mind was always set on just one thing at a time, so if she had to leave in a hurry, later that night she would go back and finish whatever she'd gone to the place to do. Very good fight scenes, and little quirks that made it actually quite funny.

Maybe I can...maybe not, who knows. But they ARE definately over-hyped. My father (a martial arts master) met Jackie Chan once. He said he wasnt that good, only for show, even Jackie admitted that, hes an actor, not a pro fighter. Jet Li is a flashy dancer with no muscle, but I still like the guy, and same goes for Tony Jaa, never really fights. I respect them, but Im just saying the truth.
