Leanne relizes he's looking, guts him, he cripples, and he then basically says that he'll get her wine soon...

I haven't played a game this entertaining in both gameplay and cutscenes in quite some time.

I thought Vashyron was going to be the generic and calm 'badass' in JRPGs, but he's actually very human and likeable. Nolan North does a great job with the lines.

Well, this actually serves a pretty good purpose, something you didn't quite catch. The comedy and the ridiculousness of this scene is used to show the extremes in the social hierarchy.

In this case, a person who actually hires mercs to find her another bottle of wine while the world is practically dying and those of "lesser" importance do not matter or are mere messengers for her and her desires. And the mercs do nothing to change that nor do they care to.

So, it's not just for fun.
