  • I haven't sung this for full forty years, since my primary school choir did it. Thanks for this sterling performance and for providing the words, which helped me to rant and roar again with great enjoyment.

    (Our version of the third verse was slightly different; it read "Next Rame Head, then Plymouth, Start, Portland and Wight; we sailed by Beachy, by Fairlight and Dungeness").

  • Hi, thanks loads for your nice comment, I'm glad you liked it. Yes, I would like to do some more sea shanties but I think some of them work better sung with a group of people rather than solo so I'm not sure which songs will work best yet..
