  • I notice the he speaks really fast at specific times, Maybe he by speaking fast sends coded messages to the subconscious, Not that I know anything bout it. Just guessing...

  • He doesn't explain to you how it actually works. It's just another clever theatrical device he has woven into the illusion.

  • I stink.

  • I think he is actually trying to educate us so that we will be more headstrong when it comes to manipulation.

  • This is called priming: planting the idea ahead of time to influence decisions. It's like Inception, but happens all the time and there are quite a few cool psychology experiments demonstrating it.

  • I would not have thought this would work... maybe in 1 out of 100 cases, but on the first attempt? No chance in hell... Bravo, DB!

  • @MatsEP I assure you, this is not his first attempt. ;)

  • you are correct. I just dont like their metaphors

  • This works better if your smoking pot.

  • @WolfEyesatNight absolutely

  • Derren for PM

  • the line between insanity and awesomeness, is now blurred

  • NLP he access different states to ramp it up then ramp ikt down

  • its amazing how he changes his personality so much for this stage show

  • Choose... Daily... Mail...

  • Derren is talking very fast. He had to much coffee,

  • Dude, Derren Brown is a simple (but talented) stage magician, a conjuror. Instead of drawing bunnies out of a hat, he does this instead. The explanation he is giving is all bullshit, it's there to create a distraction and a spectacle. No mind-reading or suggestion is involved. It's all just an act. Entertainment!

  • @6reve You forgot to mention you're a master of suggestion and mind-reading

  • Don't watch this.

This is not the clip you are looking for....

  • @MrSelidor7 lol

  • This is amusing and I love his energy but implanting ideas into minds - I don't buy that at all. This is not good enough proof for me.

  • Fucking goddamn Scientologists. No other religion inflames my rage as much as Scientology.

  • @gahzeyboe Why not they all do the same thing, use obvious lies to pilfer money and power from the people

  • Hilarious BTW dont fall for it that is a magic trick followed by another magic trick implanting ideas in peoples heads all the reasearch shows is nonsense. amazing guy.

  • this has nothing to do with Scientology - the video is another subject

  • boring

  • HOLY SH**!!! FOX NEWS DOES THAT IN THE WORST WAY! They say something that's not true, and then say it's not true, or have a ticker that says it's not true, but they keep repeating the lie anyway so that you'll remember it!

  • @DoctorNociceptor yes they do...but the biggest mass hypnosis of all time was the "yes we can" & "hope and change" slogan. You never knew what that yes was but it felt good saying it & we all were ready to pull the lever in the voting booth. Still waiting and hoping for change....but they are still doing the same no matter who is in there. We are being conditioned.

  • Maybe a possible reason why he is talking like he is on coke, is because when you have a show with an audience and possibly for cable television the person is on a timed schedule. So he was hurrying up to finish this last point he was making before he passes the time limit (commercials, ads, etc.)

  • Derren Brown is a GENIOUS!!!!!

  • The flash is at 9:56 . I don't know about any bleeps though.

  • I don't know how anyone can take this guy seriously. Yes, it is possible to manipulate people with the power of suggestion, but not this specifically with so few cues.

There is no way he would hinge the last 10 minutes of his show -- and all of his credibility -- on something that, even being as optimistic as possible, still has a failure rate.

  • This is why we should all turn off the tv.

  • This is how the politicians and the media manipulate our thoughts and thus opinions ...

  • @ZeroEightySix nah, they're not smart enough

  • Imagine the girl took another word, all of the end of his show will be so fucked up

  • what is derren jacked up on? lol

  • @mrsvend3245 I had the same thought while watching him, my guess it's meth, or a lots of high quality cocain

  • Derren talks soooo fast here o.o"

  • There is no blip.

Also, this is misleading - report.

  • its a flash... just the fx on stage... wth you guys thinking XD

  • I do not see blip?? when is it?

  • it took me about 10 tries to get paused on the blip... its just a white screen >.< unlessi paued it about 1/100,000,000,000,000,000th of a second early.

  • I can see how it's possible for people to be influenced so easily by what they see and hear around us. It could happen when governments tell us 'official' stories that they want us to believe and it gets reiterated over and over by all sorts of media and even people close to us who want us to believe what they believe. A grain of salt and skepticism is healthy. Think of the official gov. stories they wove around 9/11- so much misdirection and blatant fear mongering and repetition there.

  • @edvvard1 Or who to vote for more importantly.

  • on the NLP tip, derren is affirming how "influential" he is in an even deeper technique by making this the key word... anybody catch that??

  • haha it's like inception... but you're not asleep

  • @Twack006 Don't you mean insheepsion?

  • Seems Like Derren Brown is on Drugs or Something nearing the end. Extacy is real big where he comes from..... or maybe he's just excited that he's a multi millionaire

  • @AlexIsonSanders haha it does seem like Darren is fucked up on something.

  • I'm not sure why, but he has the best-looking audiences of pretty much any performer out there.

    I think I may have been neuro-linguistically-programmed.

  • Check out his other videos. He pretty much always chooses damned good looking people to be on stage with him.

I would think that they were stooges, except there are so many of them that they can't be.

  • any1 else pick page 3 in the sun?

  • was it subliminal

  • That girl was pretty hot :D

  • funny that people think it's ok to throw rocks at these guys (yes some do, although most of them are peaceful they like to pretend the few violent ones are scientologists doppelgangers...yeah that sounds pretty crazy) but we have to be tolerant about everyone else's dumb ass superstitious beliefs. If I protest a Jewish or christian church, i would be called a nazi.

  • Derren is so hot....so glad he's gay. =)

  • this shows what you can do when ur enthusiastic

  • Every post paid envelope you can find from scientology & Dianetics. Fill it with a print out of Xenu Leaflet. Than tape it to a brick and send it back as a response. Best way to protest. Tell all your friend to do this. The church of scientology will have a huge mail bill and each letter opened will free one of their members. Once you red Xenu leaflet they kick you out automatically. Tell as many people as you can. Power of the many. A million people send bricks back that should do something.

  • Derren you hot sweaty genius... so sad you are playing for the other team!!

  • the link in the desription doesnt work

  • I DO NOT UNDERSTAND A WORD THAT WAS COMING from HIS MOUTH!!!!!!!

  • I really want to be in one of his shows, just to prove that he's not that "influential".

  • @toombs911 I've always found it odd that he claims only the most creative and bright individuals are able to be persuaded by the techniques he employs.

    The exact opposite is true.

  • @theycallmefibb Bullshit. You seem to think being open minded is a sign of stupidity and weakness, that's a pretty stupid thing to think. Intelligent people are generally ones who don't shut out new ideas, they keep learning, and this means that intelligent people are even more susceptible to the beliefs of a charismatic cult leader.

But keep telling yourself your smarter than everyone who believes crazy things, just makes you look like an idiot.

  • @videosfromderelix Don't twist my words. I didn't mention anything about open-mindedness. Intelligent people are indeed generally open-minded, but that isn't the point; easily-influenced individuals are psychologically flat and lazy, therefore running into traps set carefully by ->intelligent<- people like Derren without knowing any better on their own.

It's more black and white than an oreo cookie in a mult-racial neighborhood.

But keep telling yourself you're* smarter than you are.

  • @theycallmefibb I'm not twisting your words, I'm trying to explain something to you. Close minded people are generally psychologically flat but not easily manipulated because they are unwilling to learn anything new. Open minded people are much more open to learning more things (as in, intelligent people) but because of this they are easily sucked in to delusional cults and beliefs.

I never said anything about being intelligent, your just twisting my words because somebody disagrees with you.

  • @theycallmefibb BTW you know nothing about me so your assumptions about my intelligence are pretty childish. Just thought you should know that with every "your stupider than me" post your not really proving anything.

  • And about the video, it *sort* of looks fake, but you can't say that people aren't easy to manipulate through this sort of subliminal suggestion, cause they are.

Media takes advantage of that everyday, we just don't like to see it

  • The fact that people can believe something as ridiculous as scientology just confirms the fact how INCREDIBLY easy it is to play on gullible minds of average people.

So yea, if people are capable of believing scientology, how can atheists expect to make people realise that something as big and influential as Christianity is just a bunch of BS as well?

It's a sad brainwashed world we're living in

  • @ModeLTU hahah...Even you used the word influential in your comment. I think this video worked on you too my friend. It's a tough road for Atheists of the world such as myself, but it surely is a worthy cause. The truth shall set you free.

  • @spankthamunkey I guess you somehow misunderstood something here.

I wrote "So yea, if people are capable of believing scientology, how can atheists expect to make people realise that something as big and influential as Christianity is just a bunch of BS as well?".Meaning "Christianity is Bullshit (BS).

    Which means I'm an atheist.

And yea, I used influential there without even thinking about it lol.

    Pretty cool

  • @spankthamunkey right, and you know the truth. The funny thing is, plenty of spiritual people say that exact same thing. Kind of asinine to assume you know the truth. I guess I'm the crazy one for accepting that I have none of the answers.

  • This is 100% retarded.

He's got no brainwashing skills; All have been setup beforehand.

If you want to see brainwashing masters look at bill o'reilly's ,frank luntz's and karl rove's work.

It's amusing that because he keeps repeating over and over "i am not a fraud; i am not claiming that i am a psychic; there is science behind it", naive people actually do believe him.

  • @11thsockpuppet Well there's science in here because it can be repeated even by a different person. He did this day after day for a year ;)

  • @rdoetjes So what? Psychics do their job 'day after day'. Does this mean that they are doing science?

Every single day Brown's performance is set up beforehand; it's his job. duh...

  • @11thsockpuppet

Yes "psychics" do apply science in their work too. Ever heard of the science of Forer Effect? A rainbow ruse?! Authoritarian approach, Argument from Ignorance. All very well documented psychological approaches.

Also magic is science it's all build on scientific knowledge all reproducible. Some of the best magic comes from the human weakness of perception.

  • @rdoetjes You forgot the most important factor in the psychic recipe: naive people like you.

The 'science' behind Derren's Brown performance is merely one or more actors pretending to be random individuals. You actually believe that he said the page of the newpaper and subliminaly planted the hint into their head that thy should say a word from the specific page of the news paper? If there is science behind this crap, go ahead cite the peer reviewed papers that document it

  • @11thsockpuppet Dude are you out of your mind naive people like me? You probably didn't have a look on my channel. I do the same thing Derren does (yet my own style). I probably know a lot more what Derren does than you my friend.

I can vow that this person isn't a stooge! She was randomly selected by tossing a monkey in the audience by throwing it 4 or 5 times.

Yet I never said that what he claims is the truth.

Only that a scientific process is at work here.

  • @11thsockpuppet also Derren tells in the beginning what he does:

Magic, Suggestion. Misdirection, Psychology and SHOWMANSHIP! In this particular effect all of them are combined! (well maybe not misdirection).

  • @rdoetjes oh, yes misdirection. And if you consider that 'lying succesfully to the gullible audience' is a 'psychology skill', then indeed he's got it. But his showmanship sucks. "right there! I said 'i read my mail daily; i read the mail daily' it's a brainwashing phrase to say the keyword influential. right there!".

If we went one step further he would have claimed that he learned MKULTRA skills by james bond while graduate student at the royal college of central intelligence.

  • @11thsockpuppet You call it lying I call it suggesting in combination with reframing.Everybody knows that Derren is a skilled magician and a stage performer. That is what we as stage performers do it's called ENTERTAINMENT!

If you don't like don't watch it.

  • @11thsockpuppet Wow, are you kidding me? If you want to call this "lying to a gullible audience" you might as well call all magic tricks or, hell, all tricks at all lies.

  • @gobipill Magic tricks actually do require a great deal of skill.

If you notice, most of his 'performance' is trying to convince us that there was actually some magic trick involved and that he does have some skill. In reality the only 'skill' we see is bad acting (from him & his aides).

I personally don't have problem even with camera tricks. But this crap cannot be considered anything more that a bad sketch. And if you think that there is any magic trick there, it's because you ARE gullible.

  • @11thsockpuppet Derren Brown is not a magician and he claims, in fact, that he is neither magic nor psychic. Rather, he uses misdirection and showmanship in his performances to give the impression of incredible talent. He is not convincing us of magic and never has tried to convince us of it; he is not a magician. In other words, nothing in his career is about magic. Where on earth did you get the idea he was a magician? Perhaps you should understand who he is and what he does before commenting.

  • @gobipill You brought up magic tricks and now you rant for a whole post repeating that it's not about magic tricks.

Does he or does he not waste his (& our) time trying to convince us that this shitty performance was not staged and that he supposedly used 'science'&'psychology' to put these ideas into her mind?

His trade is 'mentalism'., the lowest form of magic tricks. And he manages to suck even at this.

&If you fell for his 'this is psychology;NOT magic' crap, it's because you are naive.

  • @11thsockpuppet Whether his performance was good or not is irrelevant. For all you know, I could hate his shows and, in fact, I think this is one of his worst. But from reading all the comments on his videos and on his own blog, I can tell that most people love him for the entertainment he provides. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant because most people do and where popular opinion is concerned, that wins. But it is not a lie

Also that definition of mentalism is your own so it's baseless.

  • @11thsockpuppet And he does not say "this is psychology, not magic". What he says is, "this is not psychic". He is not a magician and I did not bring up the fact that he was. What I did was compare your calling this trick a lie to calling all magic tricks lies. That might be true, whatever; it's your own private opinion so I don't care. Also, you should watch the whole performance; in the beginning, he demonstrates an "anti staged" effect. It might be a trick but I'm inclined to believe it's not

  • @gobipill If you really don't care, why do you keep posting & whining about my opinion?

And YES he IS a magician. All modern day talentless 'mentalists' do excactly the same thing as he does. If he, for the purposes of his stagecraft, denies it and you believe him it's because you are a moron.

And yes he DOES claim that he does this with 'psychology' and not stagecraft.

And what's this "antistaged effect" you are talking about? Does this phrase even mean anything?

  • @gobipill Urging &challenging me NOT to respond in PMs is quite pathetic.

Anyhow, contrary to your belief, as stated in the PM you sent me, the performance IS staged, and the number of people duped is irrelevant.

What is objectionable, is not that he stages his show. He is a performer, that's what he does. It is that he pretends that he is a 'skeptic', that there is a supposed scientific/ phychological explanation (other than acting)and spends so much time pitching this explanation.

  • @11thsockpuppet Define a "staged show"? Derren opens every TV show he's ever done with what he does is a mixture of magic, psychology, misdirection and subliminal persuasion...which is true? This is hardly a "staged performance" and for anyone with any backing in these fields (such as myself) these effects are possible with magic...but also WITH psychology. He doesn't claim psychic nor support them...people just think he is. Look into neurolinguistic programming and the like...perhaps read more.

  • @silent99dude99 As for scientology brainwashing I don't know what the hell that has to do with this clip mostly because I've seen SWTWC and yes there is persuasion within scientology and yes they probably use some of these techniques (albeit more extreme) however, Derren isn't a scientologist? sooo wtf on that account

  • @silent99dude99 No, you should read more, pal. NLP is PSEUDOSCIENCE. His claims about psychology are in no way supported by real science.

And the fact that so many morons have fallen for his shtick, pretty much proves my point about him spreading scientific missinformation.

& enough with this 'he never claimed being a psychic' shit . In the same vein, a guy that does sleight of hand and claims that utilizes 'quantum teleportation', never claimed that has supernatural powers.

    Do you get it now?

  • @gobipill He promotes pseudoscience to distract us from the fact that he's not that good at what he does. In that respect he's not that different from people like uri geller.

An analog of what he does is this. Suppose he could do some sleight of hand(like make a coin appear). And then went on to claim that he is not a magician but a skeptic and a friend of science. And that in fact the explanation is a well studied by the physicists phenomenon: quantum teleportation.

Would he be a fraud or not?

  • @gobipill Decide if you want to quit posting or not. Begging me in PMs to stop responding & spamming the comments with the word 'no' doesn't show that the whole issue is beneath you. It just shows that you are indeed a moron.

That doesn't some as a suprise. You know, you weren't supposed to be older that 4 years and believe that magic tricks are for real "because he did the antistaged effect".

If i tell you that santa claus is mommy and daddy what will you say? Presumably:

    "No

    No"

  • Comment removed

  • @11thsockpuppet They're not actors because the whole performance of the newspaper prediction is a magic trick you imbecile (I PERFORM THE SAME THING). And yes it's pseudoscience but it's only "pseudo" because our scientists don't even fully know HOW the brain works and what everything is for. Where is memory stored? Fact: There isn't one section of the brain it's stored in...but why? You talk about naive people...shut your mouth before you bash what I'm studying at a Masters Level, you cretin.

  • @silent99dude99 Have to love ignorance...you must have the most bliss on this earth.

  • @silent99dude99.

It's quite amusing that you talk about ignorance.

Tell me,what good is studing at 'Masters Level',if you are bashing&dismissing science, while embracing pseudoscience?Apparently wasting your money&time.

You give me the excact same arguments that defenders of psychics do. i.e. that science is not advanced enough so we have to resort to 'other sources'.

Note that nowadays, psychics as well claim that their work is grounded on 'science' eg 'quantum consciousness'.

    &why so angry?

  • @11thsockpuppet I am in no way bashing science. Fact: This is a magic trick performed well under the pretense of pseudoscience, however, the same effect can be achieved with "pseudoscience" because people are malleable mentally. Fact: Science isn't advanced enough to scratch the surface of how our brains work...The studies of the human body have only been around since the first Egyptians which was 1600 BCE which compared to how long we've been around is nothing. We know nothing of the brain and

  • @11thsockpuppet it's capabilities. Furthermore, I never said we have to "resort to other sources". And the difference between Derren Brown and Psychics is that psychics will lie to you to take your money based off the bullshit facts the prove up front to you. Derren Brown actually uses psychological techniques COMBINED WITH magic misdirection and showmanship to give results that could be contrived as "mind reading" but aren't (he states this quite explicitly). Pseudoscience, whether you'd like

  • @11thsockpuppet to accept it or not, is a legitimate, applicable field (considering that's basically what you're calling Psychology). And I'm not angry, hardly, considering I've never met you. I'm jaded by the fact that you come on and basically call it all a load of bullocks and whatnot with no backing information whatsoever, saying it's staged and whatnot, and then try to hopelessly defend your opinionated (and quite wrong pardon me for saying) point against both A.) someone who knows the

  • @11thsockpuppet inner workings of the trick and knows that it can be accomplished with both methods of psychology as well as trickery. And B.) studies within the field and then has some ignorant internet person with an opinion attempt to bash his field because he thinks he's so high and mighty behind his keyboard, never having to face up in the real world. There's no point in arguing this anymore because ignorant people, when faced with the idea of them being wrong, will continually grasp at

  • @11thsockpuppet straws and to be honest, I'm done with this. Spew your ignorant hate to the internet, I invite you to, because if anyone with an iota of intelligence reads it they'll know in a second of you "higher education" as it were. Nonetheless, enjoy your online arguments and attempts to gain "e-Respect" as it were. I'm far better off leaving this post knowing I'm right and knowing the only people you can sway are like-minded as yourself.

  • @silent99dude99 Aw... Don't cry silent dude.At least online people with an 'iota of intelligence' e-respect you for your e-boasts of masters education.

Of course derren brown is the best evar.Like NLP,which is super real&a whole field on it's own!

Screw those scientist psychologists who know nothing about the mind anyways.Mind the Egyptian anatomists!

&We can unlock our full potential with NLP! Imagine the enchanced communication skills! The business opportunities! It's like dianetics, but 2.0!

  • @11thsockpuppet Awww e-Sarcasm so cute :).

  • @silent99dude99 Did you expect anything better, when amidst a torrent of insults, whining &threats to quit internets, the only argument present was yet another iteration of the same:‘brown is legit because he told us he is not a psychic&that there is a naturalistic explanation from psychology,(but not from the scientific psychology because science has utterly failed to understand the mind.)'

Calling people stupid while repeating this argument, is excactly like writing "LOL YOUR RETAURDED"

  • @silent99dude99 And for the people wandering about the scientology connection, it's excatly this: Derren Brown's missinformation dupes people like you that this kind of psychological manipulation is feasible & consider its real life implications. Then you either become a paranoid black-helicopter loon or try to find the way to unlock this supposedly hidden potential. This is the promise of both dianetics&NLP very expensive courses. If you consider them legit 'fields' & not scam, what can i say.

  • Too bad the audio is way out of sync :-/

  • buuup

  • this is witchcraft like copperfield/blain/angel

  • I have had fliers too from scientology, but i am willing to forgive them if they send a sexy woman to my home address with an apology. And i will give her a cup of coffe and a little chat.

  • Well thats how the scientology are brainwashing their members. As i have said before: Brainwashing = hypnosis + intimidation (you can use it soft or hard) + caring (you can use much or less). When they send people to peoples private home and put fliers in their mail box they are using peoples on beforehand way of thinking, inside themselves.

  • I will say that girl has influence on the word influential. She is not some woman from the audience, she is simply a part of the show.

  • @globe255 Thing is he didn't say "how about you there, come up here" or something like that, like most magicians do.

He blindly threw a little monkey doll out in the audience and whoever it landed on had to come up.

  • @gilli39 You are right, im wrong. Some people just seems to be very easy to manipulate.

  • @globe255 At least you can admit when you are wrong.

That shows real maturity and good sense.

  • @gilli39 I had forgot all about the ape, thats why i made the comment. Its simply about manipulation. He is a bright fella. Oh and ty for the nice comments that shows real m... and good s...

  • *covers ears* LA~LA~LA~LA~LA!

  • WTF WAS THAT BLIP AT THE END

  • @truthslap Yea it gave me a fright.

  • @truthslap Soon, Derren's gonna control the whole fucking world

  • THE BLIP ON THE END MADE ME FAINT. . .when I woke up. . .my headphone is broken. . .my keyboard is hanging and my computer table is tilted. . . . . .WHAT THE EFF. . .

  • @ Danbuck&toseethingsclear

You guys are so wrong. There is more then enough sources of renewable energy. Look up 2006 MIT report. The only reason we still use fossil fuels is because it is simply too profitable to give up.

  • @Strike2k2 you can not replace oil, gas and coal with renewable energy. Renewable energy is currently less than 10% of global energy usage, so your just dreaming, it would take minimum several decades

If there was a magical energy source that was clean green abundant and cheap we would stop using fossile fuels within years, how ever there isnt

Being proffitable has nothing to do with it

  • Comment removed

  • @danbuck333

Just because you say we can't does not make it a true statement. Furthermore, I don't see how saying less then 10% of global energy is currently renewable backs up your claims. Your ability to regurgitate what you hear on the news and what other main stream outlets tell you is amazing. Geothermal, wind, solar, tidal and wave power are all renewable sources. Geothermal alone can provide over 4000 years of energy bases on our current usage planet wide. Do some of your own research.

  • @Strike2k2 yes thay are renewable but the reson we are not using them right now is because they are either not cheap enough or they dont produce enough electricity on demand

just because you say it does , doesnt mean its true

you need to do more research , because your starting to sound really ignorant

  • @Danbuck333

then you say "yes they are renewable but the reason we are not using them right now is because they are either not cheap enough or they don't produce enough electricity on demand"

You mention again how it's not cheap enough. Exactly how is energy not produced on demand by solar, wind, tidal, wave and geothermal power?

When exactly do these energy sources stop producing power? You could probably argue that solar and tidal power is intermittent but thats about it.

  • @Strike2k2 simple answers

    wind ...only when its blowing

    solar ... not at night

    wave tidal..... bloody expensive

geothermal .... requires abundant steam or abundant fresh water

do you not understand what cheap means , it means the consumer doesnt have to pay a ridiculus price, bear in mind that you may be able to spend more on energy but the 3rd world cant

economies require energy , the bigger the economy the bigger the energy , the smaller the energy the smaller the economy

  • @danbuck333

there are places that the wind is always blowing. You're right. the sun doesn't shine at night. thats what power cells are for. We have abundant fresh water. Ever heard of a desalinization plant?

In regards to expenses and economy, i don't know why people think that our economy represents available resources or is the end all be all of everything we've done and will do in the future. We made money to help us. If money has become a barrier, perhaps its time to leave it behind.

  • @Strike2k2 desalinization plant? are you for real? your just making this up as you go arent you

you need energy to make the water so you can make energy, omfg

Every thing we have is either farmed or mined, so yes resorces are a very fucken big part of the global economy with out them we are screwed!

" leave it behind." and go to what? hope!

money has been around for thousands of years and it will be around for thousands more , its that simple

  • Wow! A bit hostile aren't we? How much fresh water do coal, nuclear and natural gas power plants use? Now, how much fresh water does a geothermal plant use? Comon man/girl. Look some of this stuff up. It's no where near as difficult as you're making it sound. I'm not going to hand feed you. That will get us no where.

So we can have a bomd disarmed by a machine but can't have a machine farm or mine?

  • @Strike2k2

not hostile just annoyed you done seem to think things through very far

all of those power plants you mentioned can be bulit where the water is geothermol has to be built in very specific places around the planet, very often by no water source at all , then have to pipe water to

renewables are great and I want a green planet , but we will never replace fossile fuels

  • Our economic structure is based on supply and demand in relation to the ability to buy those supplies acquired through human labor. So if there is no more human labor, what is the use of money?

  • @Strike2k

so your answer is to kill every one then we wont need money? huh

  • Kill everyone? where did you get that from?

  • @Strike2k2

"So if there is no more human labor"

  • It seems you do not understand the purpose of technology. We don't use rocks anymore. We use Hammers. We don't use horses we use cars.

"Any fool can condemn, criticize and complain. And most fools do." -Ben Franklin

  • @Strike2k2 so what are you going to replace money with?

money is used for GOODS and services , not just labour

what does technology have to do with this

  • sorry about the mispelled words. i didnt get much sleep. just watched earthlings documentary last night :/

  • @danbuck333 you are retarded. I don't have the patience to read your conversation with strike2k2. But i do know i'm watching a video about psychological stuff and you two are arguing about renewable energy bullshit. Get a life.

  • @chimera91977 you have no fucken life if you felt the need to respond to this, when it wasnt even directed to you ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha what a fucken idiot

  • Comment removed

  • @ToSeeThingsClear ok you show me these studies that say fossil fuels arent the cheapest form of energy on the planet

burning shit to heat your house isnt exactly fucken green is it and if we all did it it wouldnt be sustainable rither so that bullshit as well

  • @ToSeeThingsClear taxes dont raise the living standards capitalism does, wht do you think there is a middle class in china now, the government didnt do it, infact the government got out of the way and let the people get on with it and start making money

people believe in free markets because its the only thing that works history has confirmed this time and time again

The reason america has turned to shit after being the richest country in the world is because of crony capitilism

  • @ToSeeThingsClear theres no RISK choosing renewable energy so why even mention this,as for climate change what im worried about is the taxes, carbon credits they are NOT going to save the planet its simply going to wall street and the bankers, our money , hiundreds of billions of dollars.

  • you would have to be rather naive to believe that governments and media dont use social conditioning ,

and I never said that EVERY thing was false, just some things

    example iraq = terroists

  • @ToSeeThingsClear the reason why we dont use much renewable energy is because it expensive, its simple economics, its much cheaper do fossile fuel

  • Awesome. In the true sense of the word. Great education. Too bad we will forget about it by tomorrow.

  • 9:50 WTF?!!

  • If he did that by mentioning something several times over the course of the show, imagine how the repetition of advertising effects us without us really being aware of it.

  • or politics , global warming , terrorism ,etc scary huh

  • I'm so glad I don't watch TV

  • what's about "beep" at the end of video?

  • It's a part of the brainwashing of us. We are now all gay.

  • That beep was so loud it made me jump back from the screen

  • i bet theres a subliminal message in it.

  • Great use of embedded command

  • All religions hijack the mind if indoctrinated as a child. It is perfectly acceptable to be with a respected religion that has been in long standing but not acceptable if it is an emerging religion that works on the same basic irrational principals.
