this is such a great video and it is making this text so much easier to study, i am understanding it far better, thankyou so much,
a quick question, are these quotes all accurate to the original text?, i know that only some of the key scenes are selected but throughout the animation, what they do say, is it all quoted from shakespeare?
On Wikipedia it says how Leon Garfield wrote the scripts for this animated series. It also says how he used 'Shakespearian language', so I'm guessing that he may have adapted some lines of the plays, including some original lines from the play.

The animation may not be brilliant, but it certainly tells the story very well for those that find Shakespeare hard to understand! An excellent story for younger ones to follow.

@stjames2000 It's almost entirely accurate,although fragmented,as you know.

@stjames2000 Most of the lines are from the original play. I recognize them. :) A few were traded out, etc., though. lol

It's spelled Pompey, not Pompei. That's the only mistake I found. Other than that, it's great.

did caeser say that he wished cassius was fat(er)... lol

@easyjammin
In the play Caesar behaves like an old man of older times and older ideas. YET he is still Caesar. This makes for some smart and funny moments.
Gusgux 1 year ago
cassius seems like the antagonist and Brutus is the protagonist. the conflict is more like man vs self.

No, Cinna is the fat one. Cassius is the opposite, he had a "lean and hungry look" according to Caesar.

If your English teacher thinks this play is boring, he/she should be teaching a different subject.
