This song isn't just for Pets. When this new theme came in University, it became the theme for ALL The Sims games...they just remix it with every new game produced.

In NightLife the theme was remixed to a club/housemix version. Open for Business's version was an '80s New Wave theme. The Pets version is country/rock, the Seasons version is new age/classical, Bon Voyage is ethnic asian with Hawaiian undertones, FreeTime is a circus/parade version and Apartment Life is urban/hip-hoppish.

But I get the feeling what they're trying to do in Generations is Uni, but in a rabbit hole...

The atmosphere of S2Uni of studying and taking exams was just so amazing! I get the feeling Generations won't have that feel with the Uni part... But we'll have to wait and see :)

This is one of my favorite expansion packs. I like how we can send our sims to college. They should to do this with Sims 3, but with motifications of course. It would be nice to actually build your own college, choose what classes should be held in that college, and interact in the classroom.

Ok... just to make this clear. Every person that plays A Sims game, doesnt matter wich one. Is a (how we like to call it in holland) "Simmer" But Console Sims games and PC Sims games are TOTALLY different. Graphics (not always)/Controls/ gameplay. But especially the music. But yeah... If its about Sims there is no PC Vs. PS3 or Xbox or whatever.

I remeber getting pets and season etc, and then trying to find which of the pets songs contained this one...stupid ad heh, finally found out it was university and laughed my head off at my stupidity. xD Loved the song ever since I heard the pets ad and played it again and again. It's funny how this is a very unpopular expansion pack (it's far from my fave too) but it's theme tune is probably the best Sims 2 theme tune, as they keep remixing it for future games.
