  • The Ministry of Education wants to be able to fire inadequate teachers, the ones at this school should be first on the list. Hope they are not still employed.

  • SURELY this is illegal? A six day creation may be discussed in religious classes (not as fact of course), but definitely NOT in the science class! I may expect this in USA but not in the UK.

They are depriving these kids of scientific knowledge and ability to investigate. Setting them up to be the ignoramuses of the future, and possibly hampering their career prospects.

  • @Pendu068 Evolution is a scientific theory which has credibility due to an incredible volume of supporting facts. Creationist "science" has no factual basis whatsoever, it is merely religious dogma wrapped in the language of science in an attempt to gain credence. Science is not used to brainwash children, it sparks their curiousity in the world around them. Creationism is used to brainwash children into rejecting science, logic and rational thought. So yeah, it shouldn't get public money.

  • This is a very encouraging video. It is excellent to see schools with the courage to not be ruled by the propaganda of evolutionary dogma. Well done. For those who disagree then make no mistake that other than a zealous inodctrination and blind faith you scarcely understand the 'why' of your belief. Spend the time to do your own objective research i.e. both sides, rather than blindly swallowing phyletic gradualism propaganda. The God of creation is the supreme science master.

  • NOOOO RESIST AMERICAN CREATIONIST BULLCRAP BELEIVE IN GOD BUT STOP THE BULL SHIT ABOUT THE WORLD BEING FLAT,EVOLUTION BEING FALSE SHIT. I feel sorry for those these children this is child indoctrination next they will be killing people for working on sunday .

  • History shows that using the Bible as a basis got scientists far? What history is he talking about?

  • @ahmedeox The medival scientists of europe reffered to Biblical scripture for science which included killing and burning doves to deal with a disease

  • Using the bible to guide for science... really? These people have no clue

  • @gnosticwarrior70 So you've read the bible and studied creation science then I presume?. I've made a study of all three and I can assure you that creation science is proof positive of God's creation. Of course the choice is yours, but to make the statement you have without understanding the science says to me that you don't understand the 'why' of your choice other than blind faith.

  • I feel sick. I had a faith education in UK. It was worse because it was better thought out with few holes. End faith education now!

  • This makes me angry I want to punch the teachers in faces.

  • @jonybrown use guns, solves the problem for good.

  • @ahmedeox I do believe you are inciting hate crimes. Thankfully people like you go to jail for that these days. Keep it up and you'll be where you belong sooner than you think.

  • @Pendu068 Watch out! We got a badass over here.

  • @jonybrown That's why people like me would punch you in the face before you got there.

  • @jonybrown And if you tried that someone like me would step in and slap the snot out of you for being a thug.

  • Anybody else feeling a mixture of anger, sadness and despair watching this?

  • @curonevans

    whatever

    you should be grateful

at least they are not ruling your country.

I came from a country that rules by terrorist.

  • @Oddonan the problem is that these brainwashed kids might eventually vote a terrorist.

  • @curonevans No not at all. I think this video and the schools teaching is encouraging, positive and brave. Well done.

  • @Pendu068 Evolution is fact. Go look in a museum. Creationism is fiction and religious wishful thinking.

  • @curonevans

    sure lolz.Creationism is fiction

    Sure you mean evolution?

  • @Andytheantiathiest I am backed up by mountains of evidence and armies of scientists. And you?

  • @curonevans Oh yeah, I must have forgot.. Mankind came from a rock, which came from matter that never existed, during a huge explosion that couldn't have happened and so today we hypothesise the existence of the spherical Oort comet cloud, which in turn must prove the existence of another planet that would be required provide the gravitational pull to release said comets. And that is what you call evidence. That my friend is blind faith.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pendu068 Man didnt come from a rock.Man arises due to a chain of evolutionary events going back over 3.5bn years. The Big Bang is NOT an explosion, it is an expansion event. It obviously DID happen, that's how we are here. These are the best explanations we have based on the TESTABLE evidence, observation, experiment, reason. Faith is belief WITHOUT evidence, or even in spite of evidence to the contrary. Supernatural claims are untestable, unfalsifiable explain 0 and therefore useless.

  • Credibility? Is that guy at the end serious?

  • @shirotaka666 Absolutely serious & why wouldn't he be. You might have been indoctrinated with evolutionary dogma but I encourage you to objectively study creation science & learn both sides of the debate. What you aren't being told is the volumes of misinformation being taught in schools. Sadly disputed evolutionary axioms are still being published & taught as fact. That's called propaganda so of course people are going to be deceived. The principle in this vid was way too diplomatic.

  • @Pendu068 Well I say, if we are going to teach creationism is schools, let us teach every form of creationism, from Hindu to Buddhist to Shinto to Zoroastrian, and maybe even some older version lke the Egytian or Babylonian creation stories. Hey if you're gonna tell it, you gotta tell it all.

  • Comment removed

  • Fath schools?!?! FTW???

  • I pray someday this will be considered child abuse.

  • @skrathe I pray that one day you will take the time to objectively study the scienctific principles behind creation science and how God's word fits in perfectly with origins of speciation. You disbelieve not because you understand the 'why' of your choice, or both sides of the debate, you disbelive because of the dogma that you have been taught. So much has indoctrination influenced your thinking that you comment as you have with only a fraction of the evidence and knowledge on the subject.

  • @Pendu068 Just because you put science at the end doesn't make it any more plausible or logical. In science you don't start with the conclusion and look for supporting facts. You can't make superfluous claims about what I've been taught from some blip thought I had about a video seven months ago. You do realize your belief system was made in the 60's to propagate religion into schools. Jesus loves you.

  • @skrathe Spoken like an obedient maxist lemming.

  • @Pendu068 Don't be angry because you live in a world void of reality. There are plenty of crazy people living kick ass lives. Oh and I think you forgot an r in your comment.

  • Comment removed

  • @skrathe I confess, when it's late & I'm tired, I may not proof read as thoroughly as I should. I do LMAO though when I see desperate comments like yours about a spelling oversight. It usually means check mate & that the only seemingly intelligent thing the writer has left to do is to nit pick. I always ignor grammatical & spelling errors when reading YT posts for obvious reasons that it's YT. Plus I'm really only interested in itellectual content. You should try it some time:) All the best.

  • @HedeenJeff how is it that you know so much about this "devil" person? Do you worship him along with your other 3 gods?

  • Ok, now I'm fucking scared.

  • No, their parents fucked them up.

  • @TestingJeff Excuse me but their not the ones using obscentities (and no, I cant spell well). Thats the Devils Language.

  • Imported from the US.... That explains everything.

  • When they said science test I thought I knew you the girl was struggling (because it is a faith school) but I was shock and horrified when they displayed the question "in how many days was the world created" at this moment I relized that there is no science in schools like this.

  • I can't believe these idiots are licensed and sponsored by the government to teach religious dogma as scientific fact. My tax money subsidises this garbage. I'm utterly ashamed of this. If these shrines of ignorance are going to exist, they should be privately funded, they should not receive money from every single tax paying citizen of the UK.

  • @BuffyFanUK What I can't believe is that governments sponsor schools to teach unproven evolutionary dogma as science fact when at best it is no more than zealous faith & bad forensic postulates. That they do it with my hard earned tax money is something I take great exception towards. You refer to schools that teach creation science as "shrines of ignorance" & yet I put it to you that you don't understand the 'why' of your own choice to believe in evolutionism. And you think you are better? Sad.

  • woo ha \/\/alturl.com\/r8rdd

  • @ErostheEpic yeah and theres loads of us wearing crosses - ref: bill hicks rifle pendant ;)

  • omg this is scary

  • This is why God won't show himself here. We all still talk about the his son & the chick he accidentally knocked up.

  • just fail

  • this is very wrong. people have a right to believe what they want, but saying that something written in a book about jesus' life 400 years after he died is more logical than something proven by scientists with hard evidence is bullshit. serious bullshit.

  • @snakegirl848 Then you obviously haven't researched the overwhelming scientific evidence supporting creation science. The bible is not a DNA science text book per se. To attack it as such is nonsense. What the bible does do is to tell of God's creation, the time frames and among other things is an historical account of the times. It can however be used as a scientific reference in the chronological sense and there is much scientific evidence exactly supporting the bible's account of creation.

  • Warning: Brain washing in progress. Enter school at your own risk.

  • This scares me.

  • That's a science test? "How many days did god make the world?" counts as science?

also he says - "...this curriculum, imported from the US."

So it's happening here too somewhere?

  • @Cr4bc4kes Of course it's happening here. It's more prominent here than anywhere else (except perhaps a few Islamic countries). About half the nation believes that God created the universe in six days within the past 10,000 years.

  • @GuyMontag92 Now that I think about it you're right. I'm not saying what state I'm from ( I'm sure some of you could find out) but It's not so bad here with the religion crazed people.

  • what the hell do they think they're doing?

scaring small children for making them finance their bullshit later? seriously, you're worse than the "devil"

  • oh dear i'm sure even cristians find this wrong

  • @staticshock182 Not the ones that I have to deal with in Texas. If they heard about this they would think it's great.

  • @staticshock182 Why?... If you took the time to objectively study creation science you would at the very least have serious doubts about the dogma being taught to our children about evolutionism. Due to indoctrination (i.e. classic conditioning) I don't hear too many complaints about that. This school has every right to teach creation science to children and quite frankly I find it "very wrong" that evolutionism is being shoved down people's throats in a similar way. Your perspective vs mine.

  • @Pendu068

    100% correct

  • hey Al-quada and the taliban do the same thing with children teach them when there still developing! these guys are less violent equivelent to muslim terrorists

  • Okay, should I believe scientists who put hard work into research to see how old the Earth is, or some random ass people who rely on a book written by some magical sky wizard, a book that has been changed dozens of times?

  • Which one has the most credibility? The millions of years old theory that has some fucking evidence of course. How the fuck did that man get a licence to teach in this country when he can't even answer a logical question posed to him in a sensible manner? That man belongs on the dole.

  • The moral of the bible is that if you complain too much god will send some goddamn snakes to bite your ass. Snakes. Goddamn snakes, man.

  • OH MY GOD. I just watched the part with the science book. I puked, seriously i puked. I didn't think i could hate you brainless fucks any more than i could. Evolution evil? God building the world? You people are disgusting for teaching your kids lies and bullshit. You can believe a religion if you want, but don't cover your ears to common sense. I seriously wish they still threw Christians into the arena with the lions. Or did that not happen either? Fuck you people so hard.

  • Manipulating kids into your beliefs at an early age when they have no choice? GO CHRISTIANS! >.<

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • And there goes another generation ruined by retarded parents. I dont mind them believen in bullshits but why would they have to give that crap to their kids. Let them fucking make their own judgements

  • Christians. I love your Christ, not your Christians. You make me sick. I can't be a part of your religion because i hate every single believer of it sooo much. Jesus was a good man. Son of god? I don't think so, i don't worship him, but he was a good man, and an idol. But believing his word to the letter is more harmful than being unethical to begin with. Stop deluding yourselves into thinking you know the answer to an unanswerable question, you are swill, and holding back the rest of society.

  • Comment removed

  • faggots

  • the one thing...THE ONE THING that makes me truly seethe with hatred and anger is the indoctrination of children...these kids are going to be damaged for life, unable to make capable reasoning and logical skills from such a young age...I feel really fucking sick...

  • I actually cried during this video. How could you do that to children, how can you teach what your suppose to protect to be guilty and to fear something so something really awe full doesn't happen to them. I hope there is a god and I hope they get what there god deems like deserve.

  • It's all fine and well with us bitchin and moanin on youtube comments. Who of us has access to anyone responsible in the UK school system? Have people like Richard Dawkins been informed of this? Dawkins visited creationist schools in one of his programs, he should know who to contact.

I'm not a UK citizen, but it simply can not be alright to teach this crock with active government support. In the US the insane fundies have to dumb down their children on their own money.

    Thank you, Tony Blair.

  • I WILL FUCKING KILL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WITH MY BARE DIICCK!!!!!!1

That's how I feel while watching this.

  • Disgusting.

  • This is some really sick child abuse.

  • that is sick, why are those schools legal?

  • they are like zombies..

Is it so hard to understand that there is no GOD?

  • I am speechless-this is scary

  • disgusting what they do to the children. how warped there sense of reality will be, and the total let down if they do end up breaking the shackles of organised religion.

  • It's strange hearing this kind of thing with an English accent.

  • is this happening in the uk really?

  • Damn nature you scary.

  • ... The one with the smart people on it's side.

  • So u see also christian insanety, same as muslim in some countries, where woman are being stoned or elsewhere children are thaught they are hero if they go with bomb into crowd and so on, this is actually is same....

  • Those kids are fucked.

  • @AlphaHorizon They need to read the koran

  • @AlphaHorizon Actually, science is in trouble. More and more crazy people like these are rising to positions of power, particularly in the US. When we have people who think that the world will end soon, by the hand of a supernatural being, along with all of their other nonsensical ideas, the funding of science becomes unlikely. Currently, radical, right-wing religious Tea Party members of the US Congress are lobbying to dissolve the EPA, DOE, and other major science funding agencies.

  • @heathdwatts so called science deserves top be in trouble. I'm sure you don't know a fraction of the evolutionary deception that you have been taught to be 'fact'. The so called scientists consitently fail to agree on so much of evolutionisms axioms. Phyletic gradualism remains a mathematically impossible postulate, it is scientifically unproven at nearly all levels and yet it is so ardently preached that people like yourself accept it as fact. Go the Tea Parties across the world.

  • @Pendu068 Nice try, troll. ;)

  • i thought they only did this here in America, im not sure if i should be relieved or scared

  • Child abuse

  • "History shows, that using the bible to explain things has got scientists quite far in life."

Just like in the dark ages!!!

  • Tony Blair, your friendly war criminal from next door.

  • WOW ALMOST MADE ME CRY. EDUCATION APPEARS TO BE REDUCED

  • This is fucking scary...

  • @martiangrundy I live in the UK and have recently put 4 sons through the education system. 45 schools is more than enough to make a very good court case. They are deliberately feeding kids wrong information. A 10000 year old earth would never stand up to scrutiny. School governors have a duty of care. It would only take one parent to challenge them and the whole thing would crumble to dust.

  • I am a loving man and I dont hate.

But when it comes to religion I want to break something!!!

  • At my catholic school we were taught the exact same things by nuns. .. this would have been over 40 years ago , it's only when you get older, you realise all the fallacies regarding Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark etc. Hopefully these kids wont be sucked in too far, .. truth will overcome lies.

  • @bonnie43uk I went to a catholic school and learned all about evolution, here in the UK abou 40 years ago.

  • @FLUSEM666 Well what can we say. Shits gone south buddy.

  • @bonnie43uk "it's only when you get older, you realise all the fallacies regarding Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark etc" that's unless some political canditates show up from nowhere and start propagandizing that evolution is communist conspiracy targeting to take away your money and freedoms. This is when suddenly knee-jerk reflexes pop out and you start viewing yourself as a heroic figure against "brain-washed minions of the anti-christ".

  • Making little Jetards.

  • This is so wrong on many levels. It's criminal to abuse the mind of a child like that.

  • I want to be angry at these people... but they're all really quite nice, just horribly deluded. I want to feel bad for them, but they have made the choice for themselves to be ignorant retards. I do feel bad for the kids tho, their academic futures are jeopardized by religion, plain and simple.

  • thats some fucking psycho shit right there

  • So, wait... If we're atheists we'll turn into salt? Why hasn't the news gotten on this?

And I love how the guy at the end doesn't even know the curiculum at his own school. And yet he still said it was more credible than the actual...

Someone needs to rescue these children. Give them an education and decent rolemodels.

  • Faith schools - raising the next generation of retards.

  • Oh, and also - when the headteacher tried to explain how old the earth is, I actually facepalmed. Literally.

I wonder, if the average IQs of religious fundamentalists (not just Christians) and atheists were compared...

  • Is this what the tories wanted when they wanted more private schools?

  • *very earnest tone of voice*

"Because you know, before Jesus, sinners died, they were turned into a pillar of salt..."

What. Utter. Bullshit. IMO, indoctrinating children is child abuse.

  • Save these child!

  • the guy and the women praying to the child before the exam are not even English, sounded south Afrikan.

This is poor education standards and for OFSTED to recognise its education by passing its standards is abominal

    it looks a farce

Teaching ''science'' inappropropriatly like it was is under developing the childrens needs and will isolate them for the future

and its the parents that are religiuos crazy, unenlighted to do such henious act to depreive these youngsters of a proper education.

  • Of course these "books" were imported from the US! That explains it.

  • What Program/Show is this from?

  • are us UK tax payers funding this crap ? if so who do we complain too .

  • Horrifying !

  • WHAT THE FUCKIN 'ELL.

Now this IS depressing. What the fuck is this doing in schools in the UK.

    AAARRRGGGHHHHH.

45 schools is 45 too many.

Listen to this dishonest bastard, he won't even give the reporter a straight answer.

Then when pushed talks pure shite. This is worrying in the extreme.

  • @martiangrundy Agreed, so lets organise and get these bastards convicted of child abuse.

  • @FLUSEM666

HA HA if only it were so easy. I don't think we're at the stage of being able to convict them of it quite yet.

It is bad granted, but luckily here in the UK at least, it's still seen as an idiotic fundamentalist thing.

I'm pretty confident it will die out slowly over time. These crazy beliefs are definitely in decline here. AND education is definitely the key. It's only 45 schools nationwide I don't think it would be tolerated on a larger scale. OR wanted.

    We must stay vigilant though

  • wow.. in the USA yeah, I can believe it, but in the UK!!?!?! OMG!

  • Science Test!! WTF

I thought this was the 21st century we're living in.

  • The United States and the United Kingdom.......

What are we going to do with ourselves?

    *doublefacepalm*

Teaching our children that the earth was created in 6 days.

By the way, that girl was right and wrong. Light was created and day divided from night, according to the Bible, happened on the 1st day, but it also contradicts itself and says the 4rth day. You know, the day after the plants were made.

The sky is solid too according to the bable.

  • I am not sure if I should be relieved or scared that its not just Americans.

  • Disgraceful. I don't know what is worse. That schools like this exist, or that people allow their children to be taught in them.

  • @wjhopper Maybe they dont know just how far the rot goes.

  • This crap is in Europe also?!!!

  • Yeah, using the bible to explain things brought sciencentists quite far in live, though that stoped being true the day the church could no longer kill them for taking a view in disagreement with scripture.

And here we have David Owens, who beliefs that the sky is a carpet, painted by god:

*Tell me, how big debt of the UK is.

    -Well I don't know, do I?

    * Is more like thousands, or trillions of $?

-Cause I am not an economy specialist is my big excuse...

  • Lie while the iron is hot.

That guy David know very well that they lie, he crawl like a snake around the question.

  • Using the bible to explain things is not science. Science is a method of investigating the universe by EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION. Reading things written by bronze age people in a moldy book that are CONTRADICTED by EVIDENCE is EXPERIMENTALLY FALSIFIED. How difficult is this? They want to call it science only to obtain the same reputation as the scientific method without having to abide by ANY it's precepts. IT IS WRONG, PERIOD.

  • LOL! That's it, pray before your exam, as the religious have a higher IQ than the non-religious. I have to mention a little something here about that survey thing, it doesn't distinguish the non-religious theists with atheists :S

  • It's from Channel4 - Dispatches. If it's being BLOCKED then it's by Channel4 because this material is copyrighted.

  • 1st part in 4 is here: watch?v=qjp4A6jBWzo

ps - I can't believe that shit is allowed by the state.

  • Pause @ 2:51 "This was not surprising to scientists who were Christians". They ought to have finished that sentence with: because 'scientists' who are Christians like to make up their mind regardless of the evidence that is presented.

Richard Dawkins understand this religous contamination usually starts in early life and happens to be a writing a book for children. Maybe he also ought to write The God Delusion junior edition just to rehab this crowd. Maybe market it as Magic Man or something..

  • disgusting.... absolutely apalling. i would be so ashamed to be in a country where such a thing was leagal.

  • This is a fucking disgrace.

Dawkins did a doc called Faith School Menace a couple of months ago here in the UK addressing bullshit like this. Not just Christian versions but Islamic & Jewish schools too.

How can the government sanction lying to small children?

  • Can't say I wouldn't mind the pillar of salt rather then the whole hell BS.

  • scary

  • OMFG! So this is Blair's legacy, the retardation of innocent minds.I had stupidly thought that this was a very rare thing in the U.K-shocking to say the least!

  • Scary but fascinating. Like checking out a car crash.

  • They started losing ground lately so these indoctrination schools are a way to reverse things a bit. Like the nazis, they brainwash them while they are young and before they have the chance to think critically about what they learn.

  • To quote Dara O'Briain "Get in the effin' sack"

  • WTF

  • This is fucking child abuse and these adults should be thrown in jail for this horrible indoctrination!

  • This is unbelievable! Inflicting fear as education method, children teched wrong science and even lies,...

Shame on the Labour Party for having made this possible!

A question to people familiar with the situation in the UK:

Are efforts made to end this? To end at least the government funding of those "schools"? Is there a debate about this?

  • Child Abuse!

  • This is funded by the government? eww.

  • Honestly becuase a few and i mean A FEW humens discover something in the mist of what edecution was a thousand years ago in all of europe says volumes about how they make it hard for anyone to make a scientific discovery. Lets contrast how we every year make little fucking moblie phones that are pretty much a tiny computer to how it took centuries to find out that the planet is oval shape and you don't fall off the planet if you go to its edge wich it does not have.Yea Bible rocks my ass.

  • This is ridiculous. It looks like a parody I really hope it just a joke.

  • Damn, this shit is disturbing. I thought it was just an American *phenomenon*.

  • If you scare children this way, you deserve to be shot.

  • Wow....
