  • A sir is screaming like a freak,i like that, it looks cool.Ok i prefer watching him singing it with the beard lol

  • Am I in a minority for favoring most live versions of this song over the original version (although that one is still great)?

  • Paul keeps the 'magic' that was the Beatles alive. He doesn't belt it out like when in his 20s, but so what??? He did a fantastic job @ his last Denver concert. John, how we wish you were still here. . .George, too. RIP.

  • I have to keep in mind that McCartney is up there in age, and can't belt the song like he done when he was in his twenties. I can imitate his singing voice, but now I am 42, and I can't do it like I used to. However, not bad for McCartney who will be 70 this year.

  • It just dose not sound right with out John (RIP).

  • Good for you Paul!!!

  • Paul can still rock like before. :)

  • damn good.

  • Loved the little snippet of Bjorks The Anchor song at the end!!!

  • Keep playing music, your influence never ends.

  • too bad hes playing with a bunch of goofs!!

  • The lyrics are weak.

  • But the story behind them makes it more understandable, Paul's part was a love song to Linda, the drummer's part was John's depression about being addicted to heroin, divorcing his first wife, Yoko's miscarriage and the couples' marijuana arrest.

  • WOW

  • too long away from rock 'n roll...lol

  • 0:32 AAAAAAA wtf where lenon.... what! he dead nooo...... it... it.... can´t be..... never be the same but good trie paul you still got something in there

  • @Xphoenix7X I always said chapman shot the wrong person that night... :*(

  • great song, but without John loses about five points

  • this sucks now. it's just not the same and it never can be.

they let their egos and their bullshit get in the way of some of the most beautiful music ever written. they turned their back on it right when they were in their prime. now all we've got is that footage of the boys on the roof from 40 years ago. they never really got to perform the music of Let It Be, not properly. right in the middle of their creative maturity as a jam band and they walked away before even going on a single tour.

  • @BigCM06 Are you kidding me!!! this is as good as it gets short of the original version. Comon for Paul to be in his late sixtys and still belting it out like this is nothing short of amazing!!!

  • @BigCM06 the beatles were ready to break up. They were arguing in the studio and that, they had enough. give them a break. they did alot in music

  • why does every drummer have to be bald with a goatee

  • @wbrodie55 umm they dont lol...

  • sounds better on the roof, as comanchio said perhaps, but it was 40 years ago and Paul is 69 now. But i'm still crazy about this group.

Unfortunately i was born in 1968 at the end of the group.

  • I wish someone could continue this sound. I so wish there will be at least one band that can have similar vibe in future... I hope it's not all gonna end with X-factor.

  • sometimes a piece of of music only happens in one place, at one time, like a joke in which only a few people get....you had to be there...

  • abe laboriel jr. on drums, his dad was one of the greatest bass players in jazz

  • My love! ♥♥♥

  • I'll never care for his backup band... Why not get people who sound like the Beatles rather then be all "Nobody can ever sound like the boys".. FUCK THAT!!! THAT'S NOT TRUE!!! look at "Rain" or any of the other decent Beatles act. True they're not spot on, but they're better sounding than this "Cookie Monster" vocal bullshit they were doing on Johns part...

  • @puppiesinspace That would be incredibly corny, for Paul to surround himself with Beatles imitators and try to relive the old days in some sad, pathetic way. It's a nice thought but it's a good idea you're not in charge of these decisions.

  • @superman11978 So you're telling me the Sumo with the 60yo men sporting teenybopper haircuts isnt pathetic to you? C'mon, I'm not saying dress the part & put a f@cking Elvis suit on. All I'm saying is there are people out there who could perform the music better then his band. Christ, his keyboardist is just awful. ANY BAND with synth horns is awful for that matter!!!!

  • @puppiesinspace yeah but the thing is, the beatles split up in 1969. McCartney wouldnt do good in a beatles tribute band. Because they arnt the beatles. yeah McCarney was. But it wouldnt be the same

  • Pauls' part sounded great but John's distinctive droll vocal is missing badly

  • Although I am sorry but I can't listen to some other dudes do John's part of this song D: Sounds soooo wrong

  • Daaayuum, Paul

  • Awesome song, though I hate the band hes with. They dont fit paul at all

  • this still ROCKs

  • McCa pxta ke eris rico! :)

  • John's let himself go

  • BECK

  • its a great song but it just doesn't sound the same without the other beatles

  • How dare he do this without John !!

  • @sfwaller John's dead. So he's doing what he can do, what he wants to do, and if he could do it again with John, you better believe he'd do it in a heartbeat. Focus on what you CAN have, not what you CAN'T.

  • @dougalmac54 My feelings, EXACTLY. Can't understand why folks can't/don't do (again) : ) exactly what you've stated. I'm thrilled to bone to still be able to hear & see the closest thing TO The Beatles as any of us will ever get. But, this isn't them & that's the way (unfortunately) it is. You better believe Paul wishes that John was there to sing his part more than any of us can begin to imagine. Not to mention George. Thanks for your comment,& for posting this vid.

  • @kneapoe51 i totally agree!!!

  • @krisroks117 Thanks, I appreciate your comment very much.

  • @sfwaller go get him told then

  • GREAT SONG.

  • I saw him in the early 90s. Linda was with him and they put on a hell of a show.

  • Yo lo vi en persona hace justo aece tres meses, y quede fascinada y no quiero morir antes de volver a verlo.

  • I felt a sad moment when the "Everybody had a hard year" bit kicked in. Could just imagine John there doing it. :)

  • everytime he sings that song memories have got to be flowing in his mind of how they made it and played it in beatles times

  • The bassplayer is playing the wrong bassline. Cmon Paul. How did you let that go? Still great.

  • @dude99399 well naah... Lol

  • My all time favorite Beatles song!

  • Wow.. Ringo sure has let himself go.

  • @JohnPaulGeorgeRing0 Lmao thats not ringo, all though i think you were being sarcastic...

  • Ive Got A Feeling too.!!!Beatles forever.!!!

  • paul is so coolll! i love him!

this old man still got it!

the king of music and the best musician in the 20-cenutry

  • the keyboarder has played with alot of artists including joe walsh.

  • 16 people got no feelings at all!

  • rock on baby

  • @Madking421 You know what the cure for beiber fever is? The Beatles! Rock on!

  • The drummer is quite a goofy dude.

  • It is good to see The Guys That Used To Be Beatles performing the music that made them great. These songs are priceless in my opinion because tnobody from the band would perform them

  • i still wish that john could be singing this song with him!

  • 48 years from a rooftop and Paul is still Amazing

  • @ZzZShReDZzZzZ Well He got famous around 1963 so thats why i made it 48

  • Sounds better on a roof.

  • @comanchio1976 couldnt agree more with you

  • @comanchio1976 was just watching that vid lol

  • @comanchio1976 sounds better with john george and ringo

  • @TheGrubification That was kinda my point, I'm not really a lover of roof acoustics, and I dont know anyone who is...except for crazy Bob, but he's crazy!

  • @comanchio1976 lol yea not the same

  • The drummer never should have tried to sing John Lennon's part in this tune. He sounds horrible. The rest is pretty good.

  • @jhstone68 He sounds OK...and he looks like the Buddha.

  • @jhstone68 Oh calm down, he sounds fine.

  • The Beatles are the best! Only John Lennon & Paul McCartney could write this!

  • The New Beatles: Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Julian Lennon and Eric Clapton. It will never happen but I can dream.

  • Beatles hate Stones Stones hate Nazereth , vs , Sabbath , shall I continue , -Ace -heads ? Since the "show" of ' Ozburnouts" everyone has a hate on, la- ferme ! Get over it , child . Scream into a pillow , then

  • It's a toss up as to who sing worse between MacCartney and the drummer. What is this song without the orgasmic "yeahhhhh"?

  • @greatbighand do u like ? , Not , get on with your Life, Sir!

  • @Dean600 I assume you prefer this version to those with Lennon. That's allright with me.

  • @greatbighand Really? let's see you do better, DICKHEAD!!!!!!!!

  • It was much and much beter with john!

  • Brill

  • Nothing about this sounds outdated, forced, or insincere, everything about it just sounds awesome. Paul has not lost a single shred of his awesomeness.

  • oh my! Paul still rocks! I bet he will rock forever!

  • I wish Paul could still do the "Yeaaaaaah, YEAAAAAAAAH! I've got A FEELING!!!" Part :(

  • nothing against paul, but i don't think its right to perform this song with anyone other than john, george and ringo

  • Paul McCartney on Later fromt he beatles ? :O

  • Good to see Paul play this, but nothing!

  • This man has still got it.

  • I'm the biggest Macca fan around, but anyone other than John singing John's lines renders this song unfortunate.

  • i'm 13, and i think macca is the best! bieber is crap, beatles forever! :)

  • great! wanna see paul in person before i die.

  • @claretsandz or before he dies

  • @elsamoskwa i dont know what to do if that happens. all i do now is to always include him on my prayers. well you know,...i am in the world of missionary.

  • @claretsandz or before he does :'(

  • @claretsandz Or see Paul before he dies! :) Which I hope isn't for a long time yet!

  • @claretsandz , I wanna see Paul in person befor he dies.

  • @ffairlane57

    Hahahaha me too!

  • truly wonderful !

  • Damn I wish I could have Paul Mccartney's voice.

  • Zak, James, Dhani, Julian should form a band, and see what talent was bestowed upon them together.

  • still rocking

  • stil rocking

  • I've Got a Feeling

    ’69のポールには誰もなれない。

    本人さえも。

    音楽の歴史に残るこの名曲

  • And whos the guy trying to take the lead? Paul trust your judgement and not your mistakes.

  • Ohh dear Paulie, How does singing that song alongside 2nd rate people after living the real deal? Like losing a child and adopting a puppy. NOT GOOD AND IS SHITE TO BE HONEST. duck out mate its not good karma.

  • Ohh dear Paulie, How does singing that song alongside 2nd rate people after living the real deal? Like losing a child and adopting a puppy. NOT GOOD AND IS SHITE TO BE HONEST. duck out mate its not good karma.

  • @k80nya I agree.

  • @mattflug It;s probably the international date system (dd/mm/yyyy), making it June 8, 2007 in the American system (mm/dd/yyyy)

  • Nice to hear Sir Paul doing this with a really tight band. The Beatles version was really good, but real loose. Imagine what the original band could have done with it if they were firing on all cylinders at that time.

  • @olflatop If you think this was tight against the real deal then you are easily pleased.

  • @k80nya Huh? These guys nailed it. The Let It Be sessions were the Beatles playing at their loosest. I don't think they would be capable of playing anything less than great when the four of them got together and got down to business, but think how much better those songs could have been if they had the same focus as on say, Abbey Road, for example. I think it was the lack of George Martin's presence that caused those sessions to have a somewhat ragged (by Beatle standards) edge to them.

  • So hard to even picture him singing this anywhere but the rooftop with the wind whipping... and his grizzly man beard.

  • wow... if i was in that crowd aftyer hearing that id be jumping up and down like crazy.

lack luster applause this deserved a motherfucking riot

  • God, what a treat 2 have these guys.

  • i like the distortion it sounds so powerful

  • freakin aswome tune ya know?

  • Paul should let his hair and beard grow like back in '69. That was dope!

  • God, please give us Linda McCartney (I really admire her, even though she wasn't a Beatle), John Lennon, and George Harrison, and we give you Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber!

  • hes over 60 and still rocking the shit out of the world

    GO PAUL \m/

  • 14 pelotudos

  • @diegoysustrato jajaja, totalmente de acuerdo, tocayo.

  • Instant Karma didn’t kill John – the CIA did, if u LUV John’s music spread this truth, 2 INCREASE the PEACE like JOHN did, watch?v=akTM4CiKMcA (Thumb this 2 the top 2 FIGHT da MAN!)

  • @2JOHNNYT

    No

  • god, they picked the WRONG dude to sing johns part....... Lame. Totally ruined the song for me.... bastard harley people..

  • over the past few years this has become one of my favorite songs. Paul can really rock.

  • you can sing it!

  • voud love to hear a slover version like in beck but with some1 that can sing in good english

  • chuck norris would add class

  • UNSTOPPABLE

  • 12 people never had a wet dream.

  • Can't hear it :(

  • the simplicity and power of this song is unsurpassed. greatness.

  • Everybody got a wet dream.

  • A living legend.

  • one of the best vocals in rock history when he lay down this track on let it be

  • hes still got it

  • mmmm la cancion es buenisima pero como que falta alguien muy en especial :(, ;(.

  • Good. But nothing compared to the rooftop performance.

  • @valarize That is one of the best live performances the Beatles ever did - unfortunately the fact that THAT became the official version of the track means that nothing will ever live up to it. But damn do I love it!

  • I actually kind of like the drummer's rendition of John's part. It sounds a little bit like Billy Gibbons is singing...which would be so KICK-ASS!!!

  • can you repost this-the audio is too low--

  • I think Rusty does very good John's part, not equal nor similar, but a very good diferent/unique version of it.

  • he shouldnt have played ive got a feeling its not the same without john. And the rusty voices trying to be john doesnt work...

and whats with the drummer is he gettin off in the back???

  • oh! my saoul....so hard

  • Paul = incredible, even without John. But still...

    R.I.P. John Lennon

  • what a band!

  • oh john. </3

  • it's good.....

but without Lennon is not the same =/

  • I love Beatles and paul so much, so i try to cover some of their song!

    youtube.com/watch?v=_G5DlU54rFg

  • paul shoud sing this song with julian

  • @srednaslenoloc although they would never do this...could u imagine julian, paul, dani, and ringo in a concert? Even if it did im sure yoko would put a stop to it.

  • @srednaslenoloc or with sean!!!

  • @zacate1983 uuummmmmmmm......sean can stay home...... Julian sounds better........

  • @srednaslenoloc why with julian was he a beatle?

  • @seerattan Because Julian Lennon sounds alot like his father, John lennon.

  • @srednaslenoloc u mean william campbell should sing it with julian

  • Beatles forever...

  • drummer: everybody let their hair down!! oh wait i dont have any crap...

  • porque no la canto con esa voz raspada tan genial con la que la canto en aquel famoso disco let it be

  • he play,s this one at all his gigs

  • its funny that the two guitarists and drummer have 2 sing johns bit cos people wud never 4give paul if he mad jus 1 person do it john had one of the best voices

  • every time i hear this track, i just picture all four of them on top of the apple corp building.....still good performance though

  • No one can ever replace John! Fans know that all too well. Paul did his best, and I'll bet John was smiling from a much better place. . . We miss you, John! Saw Paul in Denver (July 15, 2010), and he was amazing. He can still rock, even though some of the high notes seem a bit strained. Don't love him any less. . .

  • about John.. maybe it's wilful that Paul is playing the guitar instead of the bass

  • This is sad watching.. I'm just waiting for Johns part to come but it just never will.

  • Prior to watching this I watched The Beates' version on the roof top. Sorry but this doesn't even come close in comparison. It's missing the raw edgness that only the beatles had.

That said it's still great to see Paul doing his stuff and I would take performances like this over nothing at all. But John and Paul worked so well together, nothing Paul or probably anyone else will ever do will ever match what the beatles produced.

  • Macs voice isn't what it once was. Every year he he mainly talks the words rather then yell and has the music and backup singers drown out facts like in Hey Jude that he cant hit those hi notes anymore.

Its a shame because it use to be said that he could hit notes that other rockers could only wish in their dreams to be able to attain. Such is old age.

  • Comment removed

  • @BozRyan Paul's voice is in pretty darn good shape for a guy his age. Performing songs like this one, "Helter Skelter", and "I'm Down" in their original key and pulling them off well is nothing to sneeze at.

  • paul looks so cool with that les paul
