  • At 0:36 Gobo: "Why, thank you."

  • At 0:52 Mokey: "Yeah."

  • I USED TO WATCH FRAGGLE ROCK WHEN I WAS LITTLE!!!!!

  • "What do you think Gobbo?"

"I think you're interrupting my song!" XD

This song is so brilliant... I love the Fraggles!

  • silly song isn't it but you have no Idea how many times this song has helped me to go and smile even when I didn't feel like it. Jim Hensen I salute you. RIP

  • Mokey's reactions are so funny!

  • Awww this is my childhood song!!!! Lol my theme!

  • red- they are to, what do you think gobo.

gobo- i think your interupting my song.

  • i like mokey when she's mad lol

  • @legoofeggos Well I don't!

  • gobo- i think you're interrupting my song!

  • she was happy at the end because the poohbahs were just gobo and other fraggles.

  • gobo sounds like Kermit the frog's nephew

  • That's because Jerry Nelson the same man who played Gobo who plays Robin Kermit's nephew.

  • What's wrong with Mokey?

  • she wants to be a poohbah

  • Why she want to be a Poohbah?

Americanidol434 did Mokey felt better after the song?

  • @collgoff: No. She didn't feel better until the end of the episode. Mokey wanted to a poohbah because of the perceived respect that comes with being one. Sort of like how certain people want to join specific clubs for prestige and recognition.

  • @TherealRNO Yeah, the whole episode is perceived as that a number of times. Yet, Jocelyn Stevens said that she used the Poobahs to satirize what she deemed off-kilter [don't quote be on the word; I don't remember what she really used] cultural celebrations like Robert Burns Day from the Scottish. But it does have that notion hanging in there. If you ask me, it's both parts.

And man, we sound like literary scholars.

  • @FigmentsFan: But cultural celebrations aren't off-kilter to the people within the culture. I mean, imagine how the mixture of cultures in Fraggle Rock seems strange to a majority of people set in their ways?

  • @TherealRNO I know, and being mostly Scottish, I see nothing wrong in Robert Burns Day, but I just remembered she used the Poobahs to satirize it.

  • @FigmentsFan: This may be, but satire can be funny without coming off as insulting. It just depends on the viewpoint of the audience.

  • @TherealRNO Yeah, it's just an opinion thing.

  • @FigmentsFan: Yeah. It is just one of the "sllly" things we do. XD

  • @TherealRNO Hence our Ship-to-Ship Combat and the name "Silly Creatures." :P

  • @FigmentsFan: Yep.

@americanidol: Listen to Convincing John, and your troubles will be gone...

  • @TherealRNO He's gonna tell it, spell it, sell it, just for you...

  • @FigmentsFan: He can convince a Fraggle to do anything and even convince a Gorg that they're a Doozer, probably.

  • @TherealRNO How can convicing John covince a gorg that he's a doozer?

  • @collgoff: Well, he probably has the same sort of "power" as Cantus, since Jim voiced both characters.

  • @TherealRNO Good point!

  • @collgoff: The only difference...Cantus is a minstrel and thus, his power comes from the magical music that plays throughout the Rock, whereas Convincing John--despite his own wembling--gains his power from the ability to guide more decisive Fraggles in the right direction (i.e. persuading them, which in turn, causes him to believe in his own convincing-ness).

  • @TherealRNO Well I understand that and I bet those things you said might be from the way Jim Henson was.

  • @collgoff: Perhaps.

  • mokey loves the leader of the poohbahs

  • @americanidol434 Convincing John. Oh God no...

  • poohbahs rhymes with boohbahs

  • i am red.

  • I think this is one of the only times we see Mokey swim. Is it?

  • She also swims in the episode river of life

  • Yeah, I finished up the series not too long ago. There's this, "River of Life," and "A Cave of One's Own."

  • XD I love how Wembley clears his throat as an instrument.

  • "Don't you DARE sing, Red!"

    "I don't believe this."

"I think it's time for me to leave."

  • fuk, fraggle is so funny now that I look back on it,lol.

  • "Don't you dare sing, Red!"

Whenever I'm watching my DVDs sometimes I think that. But I like most of the songs, especially this one.

  • MistyJr: Me too. Even though Red's my favorite, I realize that she and Gobo get the majority of the songs sung. Indeed, FR is a timeless series and its message stands firm.

  • I'm so smiling! heeheehee

  • Yay for the Poohbahs! I love this song! Hehe worthwhilin'

  • I have this tape

  • tehehehhe om i have this episode on tape too hehe :)

  • yeah you got to look out for those mad rhino's :)

  • I've had this song stuck in my head all day, glad to find the clip on here. Thanks for the upload!

  • Mokey is kinda depressed...

  • omg this is from my fav episode!!! i have it on tape :P

and i have season one on DVD!

    GO FRAGGLES!

  • i have the first season as well.

  • I have the whole series. And I wasn't even born yet when this was on. Boy was it the greatest discovery of my life!

  • Well I don't have the series, but when I went onto teletoon retro and found this... my life changed... in a good way. Now I don't have to watch those retarted shows they have nowadays

  • I love this song thanks Sorafraggle
