i think this show was better when it 1st aired. They would contempary issues on the show. I am on of the few that can't stand Victor Newman. There have been many years i didnt watch this show. Guess I am not a loyal viewer

I love Y&R. I have watched religiously since 1990, but I haven't watched since September. Things just haven't been the same since William Bell passed. I have really tried for the last 4 years to give it a chance, but I have officially lost interest in this show. Same way with Bold and the Beautiful. Love all of you actors and actresses on both shows!!!

My favorite performance by Michelle was when Sheila stole Phyllis' identity. Even though we all new it was Phyllis, she had a look in her eye that looked so much like Sheila it gave me chills! That scene is worth looking up! She amazed me in that role!

I wish Don Dimount was back, I hate Bill Spencer. Paul Williams and Phyllis Summers should cross over to the Bold And The Beautiful. I seen Ron Moss, Winsor Harmon and John McCook cross over to Y&R as Forrestors.

I am a fan for 30 years! Helped me go through the rough moments in my life. I cried when John Abbott died ....when Cassie died.......The show is very funny at times and even if sometimes it's a bit far fetched...I will still keep on watching it. I'm French from Quebec, Canada.

This blows for me. I watched from mid 70's until 1990 when this show really was Y&R. It pales today and you would have had to watch those years to understand me. The original Jill and Kay feud while Kay's husband was alive was amazing; all the Brook's sisters and their lives especially Lori. Jill's family the Fosters -- just excellent stories. This show tanked when they killed off Phillip 3rd in 1989. I still watch some today but it's a mere shadow of what it once was, as most shows are.

I disagree, Y&R actually got even better through out the 90's, with such storylines like the Cassandra Rawlins Caper, psycho David Kimble, the Lauren and Shelia feud, the Matt Clark shooting, the controversial AIDS storyline involving Olivia & Nathan and watching Tricia McNeal go into maddness, lol!! The show started to loose me as a viewer around early 2004, the storylines got really stupid and unrealistic.

I agree with what (Esther) said about wanting to tune in to watch your favorite characters,except the show keeps changing the actors of your favorite characters.For instance,how many more times are they gonna change Mackenzie.And please don't kill off anymore longtime characters (ie: John Abbott,Brad Carlton,Hope Wilson etc)

Excellent Soap.. My hubby and I do the 1 hour Y&R date everyday, when he comes home from work. My father, who has passed, loved the show and nicknamed my hubby Victor and still, sticks to him today... BRAVO Y&R
