My thought went further and it involved the Tower of Babel, once all the languages had been set then all god would have to do is snap his fingers and lo, all new bible for each person in the language needed to understand it. No middle persons required in production.

@pokerslut530 Well I do think he's for real, just at times like when I posted that comment, I get a little overwhelmed by his insanity to the point of disbelief. But yeah, I think he's legitimately insane.
He chalks it all up to his finding god through meditation. I told him on his channel - I've meditated and had transcendent experiences before, but I know better than to claim it was god. Its just silly.

Normally, atheists claiming to have more respect for fundamentalists scares me. At least in my mind, moderate Christians have enough humanity to willingly ignore the worst of the bible. But if that is the, ahem, logic behind them, I can understand the respect for 'honest' Christians.

Yes, we're cursed with the narrow mindset of not being able to accept any superstition that people might use to threaten us or bribe us, instead only following the evidence. I'm tired of people telling me 'you should respect my choice to religion' I respect the freedom to choose, but I also have the right to criticize it and point out how utterly insane I think it is. I was once in a face-to-face debate with a Christian in front of a class full of Christians. I repeatedly pwned her on questions of science and logic. Eventually she said "Have you ever considered that God might be outside of reason and science? That he might be outside the realm of logic?"
I said: "Yes, yes I have considered it. I thought it was illogical."
The whole class laughed. She didn't argue any further.

Cool the 'click his fingers and have the bible appear is one thought I have been playing with. My thought went further and it involved the Tower of Babel, once all the languages had been set then all god would have to do is snap his fingers and lo, all new bible for each person in the language needed to understand it. No middle persons required in production.
For that matter, god could provide every person on earth with their own personal copy of the bible, in their language - if god existed.
