You are one of the few people who get why I posted my mom's (Dona Rossana) recipes. These traditions will be lost with my generation. I know that there are a lot of people who came as kids to the US who will later ask themselves, how did my mom cook that? I don't want to be one of them.

We make sancocho in almost all South America, and of course the spanish caribbean. Sancocho is just another name for our style of soup.
