i´m german from eastern part which was ruled by the soviets and the mother of my grandmother had told me the soviets cleaned the occupied part from nazis for more than 15 years after 45 1000´s killed. she had a sister in western part occupied by the u.s. the did cleaning to but only 6 years they sent them to prison.
