The shows share some qualities. Both Cosmo and Patrick were smarter during the earlier episodes, and grew dumber as the series progressed. Both shows also lost their original crew, so that could be another thing they share. They both still air in reruns so that's good, because then they air the older episodes as well. The Fairly OddParents would probably win this war though as it did have more history with NICKELODEON.

Both shows used to be great, but Spongebob was evidently better than Fairly Odd Parents. As good as Spongebob once was, it went downhill when almost the entire creation crew was overhauled. Fairly Odd Parents went downhill when they started with that baby poof shit, but it's still not as horrible as the new Spongebob episodes.

They're both awesome shows, and I can always count on both of them to make me smile, but Spongebob has always cracked me up more than Fairly Oddparens. And Spongebob is the first show of my life that I've been watching for 10 years, there's never been I time I haven't watched it. It came out in 1999.

Also, I don't like the new episodes of Fairly Oddparents, but I love all episodes of Spongebob. Although the new ones are not as good, I still love them all! :)
